How do I add an image above the navigation bar?

I'm trying to add an image above the navigation bar and can't seem to do it without covering the links. Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi,
select the page you want to add the image to
open up the Inspector and go to the Page Tab (second from left)
Choose Layout and increase the size of Header Height

You need to link the image. See the example for the Canada flag below.

Replace with the image you like. This goes into the signature box within the profile tab of the personal settings.

How do I get my Tabs above the Search Bar?

Using Firefox 36.0.4 on Windows 8.1. I know there used to be a way to get my Tabs above the Search Bar, but for the life of me, I can't find it, LOL. Can anyone give me a clue, please, and thank you! Also, can we not get the Firefox button anymore instead of the "File, Edit, View," etc. at the top of the browser? I'm having a hard time changing that, too. Again, thanks for your replies.

The Tab bar should be at the top by default in current releases.

How do I get Explorer to see the Navigation Bar on a site published to a CD

I built a site in iWeb and published it to a Folder on my desktop then burned the folder to a CD. It works fine in Safari but Explorer can't see the top line (the Navigation Bar) so it is useless to anyone with a PC that doesn't have Safari installed. Is there a solution?

How do you add an image to the Light Table more that once

The Long/Luna book says this is possible. In the browser there is a red number in the corner of my images showing "1". Both of these things suggest that adding an image more that once is possible but I can't figure out how to do it.

I checked this further. Long/Luna say that you can add an image to a Light Table more than once on p266 of that book. Although they don't say how to do so.
Bagleturf's tutorial about the Light Table say's that's not possible.

How do you add an image in the text area of a page/section?

This has been driving me nuts!
When I try to add an image to a page, it will ONLY go into the header. If I try to drag the image onto the page where the text is, it gets hidden behind a layer.
I've looked at the menu choices and I don't seem to be allowed to bring the image to the front. Nor does clicking in the text area and then trying to paste or insert the image - it still goes up in the header.
What is the secret to placing images along with your text on a page in the iBooks Author program?

Wow, Apple has really constrained the "box" that we have to fit our books into!
I was hoping to take some iPad screenshots and put them inline with the text. Since they are portrait iPad screenshots, the book that I'd like to create looks much better (and makes more sense) in portrait mode.
Apple has released this awesome tool, yet they seem to have restricted the author from using any creativity at all.

Add Image in the navigation bar of Help page

Hi,
I wanted to add image next to to the Search in the Help page navigation bar as in snapshot below:
I wanted to add an image i.e the the logo next to above button in navigation bar. I tried adding , howevr could only add as Header, not right in the navigation pane. Correct me if I m wrong, the navigation control can be configured while generation web output. I coudnt find any other option to do this.

Sorry Colum, I think you are wrong. That looks exactly like a WebHelp Search dialog.
Pallavi, I am thinking the answer for you may be a simple one. Use the WebHelp skin editor. There you should see an option to choose the image used for the Go button.
I'm not exactly sure what version you are using. But I'll insert a screen capture of RoboHelp 7 below.
My thought here is that you could create an image that includes your company logo along with the Go button. Then use that image for the Go button. Sure, both the company logo as well as the Go button would be clickable, but it should do the job, no?

How do I add an image to the catalog?

Usually, when I edit an image in Photoshop from Lightroom, I save the Photoshop modified image in a folder next to the originals Lightroom is showing, and the modified version suddenly is added to my images from that day's specific shoot (I keep separate shoots in separate folders.) This has all been fine because I can see everything I've done, including the Photoshop modified files all in Lightroom. But today I think I did something to throw Lightroom off:
I think I've made a mistake in how I handled one image. I sent it to be edited in Photoshop from Lightroom, I then saved the new modified image from Photoshop to a 'modifieds' folder and then, back in Lightroom, I decided to delete the original image that was modified just because the Photoshop modified version was the only one I wanted to keep. In Lightroom, it seems to have depended on keeping that old file as 'connected' to the modified version because now, the modified version does not show up.
To make it simple - I just need to know how to make the Photoshop modified image show up in the catalog, just so I can keep track of it from within Lightroom. I looked at 'Import' and that does not look like what I want (too complex.) Can you tell me how I should handle this?

It's not clear from your post whether your modifieds folder is already in LIghtroom or not. If it is then you can simply select it then choose Synchronize folder from the Library menu. If the modifieds folder isn't already in Lightroom you will need to use Import from Disk.

How do I change font colors in the navigation bar

I'm designing a new website for my son's high school lacrosse team. It looks great, and I hope to upload it in the next week. The one thing that I haven't been able to do is change the font colors and font type in the page navigation links a the top of the pages. Can anyone help me with this?
