How do I add apps onto my phone from Itunes?

I added apps from itunes onto my library and synced my iphone, but they did not show up on my phone. Does anyone know how to find them on the original iphone, or are the apps only for the 3g and the itouch? If anyone could help that would be great

You have updated your phone to 2.0? If, click on your phone in iTunes and select the Applications-tab (to the very right). Do your downloaded apps appear here?

You don't, as ringtones are a one time purchase and as such can't be redownloaded.
If you still have them on your iTunes library, you may sinc them from there.
If you have a backup that contains them, you may restore your phone from that backup.
Or you can go to expresslane.apple.com and try for a re-issue. Which they do only occasionally and depending on the circumstances.

IOS 6.1.3 does not allow the drag and drop like previous versions. If you're in the "Songs" list of iTunes you can highlight a list of songs or individuals and right click to get to the move options. Below will show you how to move copies to the iPhone or already created playlist.

I had a flash drive with all my music on it, I got the music into iTunes with no problems and when I plug my iPod into my computer iTunes syncs my music with no problem but when I try to get the music onto my iPhone it won't transfer. I have tried to sync the entire library, song by song, and by playlist but I'm unsuccessful. Also there are little exclamation marks "!" next to the songs in iTunes, I'm sure this has something to do with my problem I just don't know how to fix it. Any help would be great. Thank you

It sounds to me like the option to "copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" was turned off in the iTunes -> Advanced preferences when you added the tracks from the flash drive, so iTunes left them on the flash drive rather than copying them to your computer's hard drive. Get Info on any of the tracks and see where iTunes thinks they should be located. If they're pointing to the flash drive, check that preference.
If that is indeed the problem, you'll need to fix the location. You can do this track by track if there aren't too many, but if there are a number of them, it'll be easiest to remove them from the iTunes library, fix the above-mentioned preference, and add the tracks again. Or you can just keep the flash drive connected to your computer, but that's probably not ideal.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:

OK, so you have your device hooked up to iTunes on the computer you sync with. You click on the Apps tab of the account profile screen and are then attempting to add the apps that are not currently installed?
What happens when you click on the "Install" button next to the App? Are you saying it does not change to "Will Install"?
Or are you getting an error when you try to sync those selected apps?
At what point in the process are you getting an error, and what is the error that you are getting?

It does make sense. The iPhone is a one-person device and just syncs to one computer.
The way it should work is as follows:
Old computer content ---> New computer
New computer <---> syncs to iPhone
But the way you are trying to operate sounds like:
Old computer content ---> iPhone
... and ...
New computer content <---> iPhone
So simply move your old stuff (either directly from iTunes, or from a computer backup) to the new computer, have it all there, then sync your iPhone to the new machine.

If the music is in your music file or on an external hard drive (windows) then, on iTunes, go to file>add to library and then choose what you want to add. Then sync music to your iPhone and your done.

On his phone, sign in Settings>iCloud and enable Mail so that he can have his own email address. Then add your account in Settings>Mail, Contacts & Calendars and enable Contacts and Calendars. They will then appear on his phone alongside any syncing he has set up. This will keep your emails separate, or you can add Mail as well so that you can both access that if you want. You can add his account in the same way on your phone and enable any data types you want to sync.

How are you trying to transfer it and what are your setting on iTunes. I'm not on a computer that has iTunes at the moment so I'm going from memory and similar issue. If iTunes is set to sync music then I don't think you can select and drag, if set to manual manage music then you can. Also make sure you are dragging to music on the iPhone.
