How do I add camera rolls to separate my photos?

I am trying to separate my photos  and I want to have more than one camera roll.  Anyieas?

You add Albums and not Camera Roll
Select the photos in Camera Roll and use "Add To" Existing or New Album.

  • Hi trying to backup iphone camera roll but only the last taken pics will save, how do I get camera roll pics onto the photo stream?

    hi please help thank u

When you set up photo stream on a device that takes pictures, then only newly taken pictures go to photo stream, not older ones.  To get them to photo stream, you must sync them to a computer and then on that computer (in iphone or Aperture if using a mac) copy the photos to the photo stream group.

  • I am using photos . I add a camera and make my photos slide in.  How do I add a second behavior to the photo to make it slide out.  I want the photo to hold on the screen for a few seconds in between sliding in and sliding out.

I am using photos in Motion 5.  I add a camera and make my photo slide in.  How do i add a second behavior to the photo to make it slide out?  I want the photo to hold for a few seconds in between sliding in and sliding out.  When I am trying to do this  I am not getting the photo to hold, i am making one continuous motion which I do not want.
    Thanks

Are you using the "motion path" behavior? If so just duplicate it and drag it down the timeline to where you want it to start. Trim it to end at the end of the project. The gap you leave in the timeline between the two behaviors is your hold time. Not sure why you are using a camera unless you have a behavior on the camera. If you are using keyframes just set two keyframes at the same position values in the inspector for the hold time.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your help.
I have discovered that Camera Roll reappeared when I took a pic using my iPad camera.
Previously I had not done that. Stupid me.
Your attempt to help me is much appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • How do I delete photos from camera roll but keep same photo in album

how do I delete photos from camera roll but keep same photo in album

You can't. The albums that you created on the iPad do not actually contain copies of the photos, but merely pointers to those photos. If you remove the photos from the camera roll, they will be removed from the iPad. Albums on the iPad are simply for your own organization on the device. Those albums cannot be imported to your computer either, since the photos do not exist in the albums.

  • How can I restore Camera Roll to my iphone 4s? I have Photo Stream and am backed up on iCloud

How can I restore Camera Roll to my iphone 4s? I have Photo Stream and am backed up on iCloud

Syncing notes with iCloud requires it have the correct email address linked, as notes get synced with an email address.
Now, assuming that you have successfully set that up, though most people don't first time around, then if you deleted the note from the phone, it will have deleted from iCloud as well.
Meaning, unless you have that note located in a backup in iTunes or iCloud you won't be able to get it back.
You can restore the iTunes backup simply by connecting to itunes and hitting restore backup. Only thing is, any info that changed since the backup was made will be lost. (i.e. if your backup is a month old, your phone will look like it did a month ago, and only have that info on it.)
Or, you can restore from iCloud, which requires erasing all content and settings, then selecting that backup. SO, you can see the predicament.

  • How to access iPhone "Camera Roll" by API?

I would like to know how to access to "Camera Roll" by iPhone API.
Because, I know several iPhone application which has own image list and the list is synced to "Camera Roll".
If I take photo by iPhone native camera, the taken photo is listed up on the image list so I guess those applications can access to "Camera Roll" directly.

  • How do I restore camera roll from a previous backup

My wife's iphone was full so I looked how to delete many, many camera roll pictures without having to do them individually. I found out how to do it (not intuitive at all by the way) but I did it wrong, deleted her camera roll and  photostream.  Lost about 300 pics.  I backup the iphone to my computer so I'm thinking the camera roll has to be there in a previous backup.  How do I restore camera roll from a backup, at least 5 backups ago?
It's not fun sleeping the garage.  Help!
    Thanks,
    Art

    Thanks for the response.
Her phone is always backed up to the computer so I believe there is a backup prior to removing the pics.  I'm trying to find out how to go to an older backup to restore so I can find the camera roll pics.

  • HT201317 I deleted photos from camera roll as well as photo streamer. How to recover photos?

I deleted photos from camera roll as well as photo streamer. How to recover photos?

If the camera roll photos were on your device when you last backed it up, restoring the backup should recover them.  Deleted photo stream photos can't be recovered unless they were also in the camera roll.

  • HT201302 I need more space on my iPhone to update to iOS 7.0.6. I was able to import and then delete my Camera Roll but not my Photo Library. How do I do that?

I need more space on my iPhone to update to iOS 7.0.6. I was able to import and then delete my Camera Roll but not my Photo Library. How do I do that?

To delete your photo library you need to connect to iTunes, then remove the selection for the images, then sync the device.
While you are connected to iTunes do the update through iTunes. It takes much less memory as the update is loaded onto your computer, unpacked, then sent to the device.

Why is it on the photo app is that when you add your photos to new albums and when you are deleting from camera roll it will delete photos from everywhere so therefore once your photos are in the albums you have chosen you cannot delete from camera roll

Your photos are actually all in the Camera Roll.  The album you create only contain pointers to these pictures.  Albums are like music playlists; when you delete a song from the playlist it doesn't delete the song from your music library.  But when you delete a song from your music library it will also be deleted from any playlists that it may have been in as well.

  • HT201317 Will photos deleted from camera roll be deleted in photo stream?

There is so many contradicting answers online! I just want to take more photos and keep the ones I have. So, if I delete my camera roll, with the photo stream "backed-up" w/ iCloud, will the photos in photo stream be untouched?

I found that in my iphone 5 recently upgrade to iOS 8.1, I found that the photo in camera roll deleted, the same photo in photo stream will delete along. How to only delete photo in either camera roll or photo stream without delete once for both camera roll or photo stream ?
