How do I add Creative Cloud to my Photography only plan?  I need Illustrator.

I have the Creative Cloud for Photography only.  I need to use Illustrator as well.  I have tried to update but I am not having any success.

Hi sdakes,
You can purchase a single plan of Adobe Illustrator or you can switch to complete Adobe creative cloud.
To purchase the plans please visit - http://creative.adobe.com/plans

  • Changing Creative Cloud Membership to Photography-only option

    Hi,
I noticed that Adobe is about to offer a Photography-only option for $9.99/month.  I recently renewed my CC membership to the full price ($49.99/mth) but only need Photoshop and Lightroom.  Can I change my CC membership to be just the Photography option?

my customer services chat - very helpful (especially around cancellation fees) ......
Devika: Hello! Welcome to Adobe Customer Service.
    Devika: Hi Richard.
Richard Harris: Hi looking to change from full CC membership to photog package deal...
Richard Harris: What do I need to do?.... Forums say it's possible.... but need to go via customer services
Devika: I understand that, you want to migrate from full CC membership to photographers offer.
    Richard Harris: Yes please!
Devika: I will be glad to check and help you with this.
    Richard Harris: Thx
Devika: I am sorry to tell you this it is not possible to switch from CC to photograph offer.
Richard Harris: Hmmm, that's not what Adobe staff are saying on the forums?!.....
    Richard Harris:http://forums.adobe.com/message/5693116
Richard Harris: I have PS Cs4
Devika: I checked your account and I see that you have purchased Creative Cloud membership one-year.
Devika: Well, you can go ahead and purchase the Photoshop subscription and cancel the creative cloud.
Richard Harris: With the 50% early fee - or is that waived if people sign 12/12 to the photography plan? (Forums are silent on this latter point)
Devika: Well, if you purchase the new subscription and cancel the creative cloud, we can waive off the cancellation fees.
Richard Harris: OK ideal - then that's what I'll do thx. It's a great offer for photogs, Adobe should get a lot of people signing up I reckon. Will everything happen automatically? Do I just sign-up and buy new plan, then cancel current full CC? (Have just paid this month so would like to see that out if poss....)
    Devika: Yes, you are correct.
Richard Harris: Great thx for your help - have a nice day!

  • Had to reformat my computer how do i reinstall creative cloud

had to reformat my computer how do i reinstall creative cloud.
after being hacked. So I need to reinstall everything.
I renamed the computer so I not sure how to let abode know that this is just a reinstall.

    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
The CC has been activated twice.
You need to deactivate it from PC,
When you install it on the third computer or for the third time & when you to activate it, if it installed & activated already twice, there will be an option of deactivating it from the previous computers, please click on that.(To deactivate from pre installed machine, Open any Adobe CC application > Help Menu > Signout.)
Next it will allow you to activate on your new machine,
Now you can go back to your first computer, log out & log back in of Desktopp CC App, launch any product, if there is any product to buy, in that prompt there will be an option to " license the software", please click on that & sign in.
It will reactivate the CC on the first machine.
You have already deactivated it from one machine, hence you can activate it on third computer.

how is compatibility with creative cloud products (Photoshop and Illustrator)  with Macbook Pro?  I am making a big purchase and would love some
    feedback

    Hi Frederick,
You're spending a lot of money.  I will add my 2¢ -- -- but you must, as I assume you know, fully research your options.
    Environment:
Start with your workspace (inc. lighting) and your clothes.
    Screen:
The iMac screens are lovely, but not, from what I hear, monitor-grade accurate.  For critical color work, use NEC or Eizo monitors.  I use NEC, with their SpectraView II software and an X-Rite ColorMunki photospectrometer.  At the time, this was the least expensive color-calibrated workflow.
    Printer:
Epson's are great, imho.  I use a 3880 in my studio and rent a 9900 by the hour when needed.  I have read of problems (iirc) with one of the printers in the 7000 line, however.  The take-home lesson that I filed in my brain was, "If you're going to spend the money on the 7000 line, just get the 9000 line."
    Aperture workflow:
Aperture is a fantastic workflow tool.  Since you are adept with PS, you should set PS as your external editor.  Use Apertures formidable tools for storing and organizing your Images, and its robust editing tools for either all your proofing, or all but your most demanding editing needs.  That said, allow a good bit of time to get the feel of Aperture.  It is not at all like Bridge.  But your important choice is which RAW converter you want to use.  There is, imho, no reason to use Aperture if you are going to use Adobe's (or anyone else's) RAW converter.
    Good luck!
    --Kirby.

  • How do you transfer Creative Cloud (Light Room & Photo Shop) from your old Desk top to a new desk top

I have just got a new desk top and I am trying to work out how to get The creative Cloud programs I use (light Room and Photo Shop) off my old Desk top and onto the new desktop. Does any one know how to do this or have already done it, or do you have to cancel the subscription on the old PC and start a new subscription for the new PC.

    Hi Jessica,
You do not need to cancel the subscription. You can simply follow the article: Creative Cloud Help | Download, install, update, or uninstall apps which will help you to install the Adobe CC application on your new PC.
If possible you can also deactivate the license from your previous computer using the article: Activation & Deactivation Help.
Let me know if it works or not.
    Thanks,
    Ratandeep Arora

  • How do I fix Creative Cloud to show ALL my apps that I have installed ?

    Here my specs : Windows 7 Pro 64 bit ● 10GB DDR3 RAM ● Intel Core i7 ● AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
    Here my story :
One day, little Creative Cloud said it had an update to be installed on itself. Possibly taking it from version 1.7 to 2.0 or something. I clicked on update. Creative Cloud started downloading and once it was done it said update complete. I clicked on finish or something. Once that happened, it disappeared completely. Gone from taskbar, Window closed and shortcut gone ! I looked into the Creative Cloud folder, in the Adobe folder and there were two folders : Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Cloud_2.7.0.413. I then went into the Adobe Creative Cloud folder and double opened the application therein. It opened the Creative Cloud desktop app BUT showed it had an update just as before for itself. I AGAIN clicked on update, and then it said "Error 50" , unable to update. I searched around and somewhere on the forums it said I must download adobe cloud and reinstall it. I did that and ever since that dreadful day, little Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't want to show ALL my installed apps anymore. It simply shows only 2 !
This is what I have : Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash Professional, Media Encoder, Fireworks. What it only shows in Creative Cloud desktop app : Flash Professional, Dreamweaver.
    What I tried doing :
1.) Re-installing the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.
2.) Changing the directory settings for APPS and pointing them to the actual location of the installed apps.
3.) Deleting or renaming the "opm.db" file.
    4.) YES, I RESTARTED MY PC !!!
What I want to do :
1.) Receive a fix that will make ALL my installed apps show.
2.) Find out what the hell the difference is between the concept of having TWO versions of the same program installed BUT getting updates for BOTH like "Adobe Photoshop CC" and "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014". I installed the Adobe Photoshop CC this year almost 2 months ago for example. Then CC told me there is an app update and that got me Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. Now I have two versions of the above listed programs... Why doesn't CC just UPDATE the Adobe Photoshop CC, rename and list ONLY Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 in the end ?
What I do not want : RE-DOWNLOAD OR RE-INSTALL ALL MY INSTALLED APPS ! This not only will cost me a lot of internet bandwidth but also a considerable amount of time. There must be a simple fix as all files are in place ! I can launch all apps individually and they are working both the "" versions and the 2014 ones.
My question : How do I fix Creative Cloud to show ALL my apps that I have installed ?

    Hi alextz11,
The email in the forum does not reflect any Creative Cloud order. Please follow the steps in
Locate the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE directory and rename it to OOBE_OLD
Download and reinstall the Creative Cloud Application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
You can also consult : http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html
    Hope it helps your issue.

How do I get Creative Cloud.app to stop asking me for my old email address that I do not have access to? I have reinstalled it several times and it stills asks for it! I spent several hours on Chat and my help specialist logged off before I had an answer to this issue. I'd prefer not to delete all of my files and apps associated with the CC suite. But I cannot update my apps without the panel letting me log in

OKay I finally found the answer- for some convoluted reason, you need to sign out from with an app from the help menu- Why is there not an option to signet on the app Panel?
