How do I add fold marks in inDesign?

I have created a tri-fold brochure and am now stuck as I can't remember how to add fold lines which will be outside of the print area but that the printer will see (when the document is exported as a PDF)?
I am using CS4 - if that makes any difference...
Any help would be much appreciated!

Add a Slug area where you can put the marks, then check the Include Slug Area in the Marks And Bleeds section of the export settings.

How do I add track marks to a continuous mix?

I purchased an album from iTunes that contains one track that is a continuous mix of music for over an hour. How do I add track marks to the mix when burning it to a cd? I would like to seperate it into smaller pieces while still preserving the continuous mix. Is this possible?

You can not do it in iTunes. Well I should say, you can not do it very easily. You basically need to break the file up into many files, one for each chapter. If the files can have gaps between them (they are not continuous live a live show) you can put those files back into iTunes and then burn them to a CD. If you need them to run together seamlessly, then you may need an outside application (like Toast) to put them on a CD with no gaps. I know iTunes now supports gapless playback, but I don't know if that includes when burning to a CDR or now. I still use iTunes v6, so no experience with it.

Page borders? I'm not sure what you're asking but you ca use the Rectangle Tool in the Tool Bar on the left to Add a Rectangle around the page.
You can apply a stroke colour by going to Colour Panel and selecting the Proxy for the stroke and the colour you need.
And you increase the Stroke Width by going to the Stroke Panel.

You can only add folders to IMAP accounts (and then via your email client, not in the Mail app on the iPad); POP accounts don't support additional folders

Photoshop CC - supplied Jpeg at 6.5"Hx9.5"w. Need to add trim marks for printer at 6"x9". How?

I have a jpeg which is 6.5" high x 9.5" wide. I need to insert trim marks at 6" x 9" leaving a .125" bleed. I am new to Photoshop but not a complete idiot. I've watched countless videos but don't see how to do this with art already done by someone else.
Is there anyone who can guide me?

Both seem appropriate. The issue is, the person creating the original art knew less of the software than I. And I just started.
The original art she provided is 9.5"wide x 6.5"high. She increased the surface area to allow for .125 bleeds and excess but the image went all the way to the edge of the canvas. I was simply trying to add trims marks for the purpose of cutting in the proper position.
This was for internal printing on a digital press. Because I would be the only person handling the materials from start to finish (including cutting) I wasn't worried about having to translate the layout on the press sheet.
I ended up deleting all of the text and stripping the art down to the bare image which I saved and rebuilt the entire art file from scratch, properly with layers and the correct page size. Which worked out great, because the client made changes that I would otherwise been unable to do.
Thank you all for the information. I'm still a little confused on how to simply add crop marks to someone else' artwork, but I have enough information to figure it out now.

The company I am dealing with does not understand ‘job specification’ no matter how I phrase it. I am still dealing with the pdf, but I have a different question. For grey text, I set C0, M0, Y0 and K85%. The pressman says it comes to him in CMYK. How do I set 85% grey without the C,Y,M showing up in the file? I it Pantone, Spot or something I don’t know about.

How do you add a word with ampersand to a dictionary in InDesign?

I added "M&A" to the User Dictionary in InDesign, but it did not seem to recognize this word. Instead, it highlighted the character "M". I suspect this must be to do with the ampersand. How do I add a word like this so that spell check ignores them?

I would suggest instead that you mark it with "[No Language]" - that should prevent spellcheck just as well, without needing to fiddle with custom dictionaries. (Which I honestly don't know how to do - we do all of our linguistic QA outside of InDesign, so I've never used a custom dictionary, otherwise I'd tell you how.)

There is a bug on iOS7 which does not let edge animate work correctly here. This issue will happen on iPad and not on Mac OS.

How do I add a zoom function to a digital magazine (.swf file) in InDesign CS6?

Hi,
Im creating an interactive digital magazine for our company which will go on the iPad, but also online for computers.
The iPad (.folio) has zoom functions, but on screen (.swf) the magazine is very static and peaple can't zoom and scroll (the zooming buttons function in InDesign doesn't work here).
So, how do I add a zoom function to a digital magazine (.swf file) in InDesign CS6?
(I read older posts regarding this problem in CS5... It's not possible for me to purchase an additional product for that. I have Flash, if there is a tutorial on how to do it, that'd be helpful too)

Although the help implies this should work, and I've seen it written in a book to do things this way, it's not how I do things:

How do I add a folder task in the Dependent Activities folder task pane?
Whenever I use the OOTB Create Task, the created task will appear in the Sequential Activities folder task pane instead of the Dependent Activities folder task pane.
Inspected the produced XML, it seems that it correctly points out to the Dependent Activities folder but is visible from the Sequential Activities folder and not from the Dependent Activities folder.
