  • How Do I Add Music To My iPod Using iTunes 11

I Updated To iTunes 11 And I'm Still Learning How To Use It. One Thing I Don't Know How To Do Is How To Transfer Music Onto My iPod Touch.

First You Need To Show The Sidebar, To Do That You Need To Click On The Left Top Corner And Choose Show Menu Bar, And From The View Tab Choose Show Sidebar, The Device Should Show On The Left, Just Do The Same As It Was The Previous Version Of iTunes "Drag and Drop"

having trouble uploading music to my ipod using the latest version of itunes

You add music the same way you always did. The default interface in iTunes 11 now doesn't show the sidebar, though. Either click the button for your iPod at the upper-right, e.g.:
or go to the View menu and select "Show Sidebar" after which iTunes will look much as it did in earlier versions.

  • How can I add music from my computer to iTunes 11.4?

    I have iTunes 11.4 (18)
I have a Macbook Pro with OS X with 10.6.8
I am trying to add 3 folders and 1 file of music to my iTunes.
This music was downloaded from a PC that is obsolete now but had Windows XP on it.
I have tried the standard answer to my question as follows:
1 - I tried to drag one folder to the iTunes icon on the dock and then click on 'Add to Library', find the folder on my desktop, open it and nothing happened.
2 - I tried to click on 'Add to Library', find the folder on my desktop and open it but nothing happened.  I tried to select all the tracks and could not add them.
Is it possible that my files within my music folder have the wrong extension numbers?  The 'album' files are .jpg and the music files are .wma

  • How do I add content to my iphone using itunes?

I have watched the tutorial, and I know that once my iphone is plugged in, it shows up in itunes, I should be able to click on that, and then choose "add to" and simply drag and drop items onto my iphone.  However, the "add to" button just will not show up.  I cannot seem to figure out why.
I thought maybe it had to do with selecting "manually manage music and videos" in the summary info of my iphone in itunes, so I selected that, but when I try and apply that a warning screen comes up saying that my iphone is synced with another itunes library on another computer (it is/was... I have another computer that used to be my primary computer) and it asks me if I want to erase this iphone and sync with this itunes libary... which I don't!! I don't want to erase what is already on my iphone, I just want to be able to add content to it?  Why is itunes so bloody difficult all the time?  Anyway, with this warning screen, I only have the option to either erase and sync, or cancel the change in my settings.
    Anyway, help!
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks

How do I add  music  from  itunes to imovie?

    Hi
    I do
    • Never use .mp3 (or other strange formats)
    • Never import directly from iTunes
    • Convert all to .aiff 16-bit 48kHz or from Audio-CD 44.1kHz .aiff
In iTunes I collect needed audio into a new PlayList
    - then burn them as a Standard Audio-CD (.aiff)
to convert .mp3 or other formats to .aiff I use - Audacity™ (free from Internet)
and in all my movie projects in - iMovie HD6 or iMovie'11 or FinalCut Express or Pro - I use these .aiff files.
I have near to Zero problem with Audio in my projects.
Yes - tedious. Yes there might be better ways - BUT - YES I hate to re-do my projects and the Audio never makes me to do that this way.
    Yours Bengt W

  • Had 3G, moved to 3GS.  Backed up 3G and restored 3GS from backup with no problem.  When I want to add songs, I get itunes message that the new iphone is synced to another computer and now wants to erase everything.  How can I add music?

Had 3G, moved to 3GS.  Backed up 3G and restored 3GS from backup with no problem on a Dell computer.  But now when I want to add songs, I get itunes message of death that the new iphone is synced to another computer and now wants to erase everything.  How can I add music without erasing everything on my new iphone?

Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me.  Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

  • How do I add music to a school owned iPad 2?

I have an iPad 2, that my school has loaned out to me. When I connect the iPad to my computer the actual iPad says, "Not connected", and iTunes says, "this iPad is supervised by another computer and cannot be used with this computer. Is there a way that I can add music to the iPad without deleting anything from the iPad??? I asked one of the teachers how I could add music and she said, " Here is my hint, you need to use the cloud to add music to your iPad, but i don't know what to do from that step. Please help!

I think your teacher was referring to iTunes match. It's $25 a year. Which really when you think about it is only $2 a month. Not bad but as a student I know that still quite a bit. I'm currently trying to figure out a way outside using iTunes Match myself. I'd be very surprised if there was a way since the iPad says it supervised meaning that it can only be allowed to be managed by one computer. Pretty much just a bum deal on your end. If you have purchases you can obviously go through iTunes>purchases and download from there.

  • How do I add music to the cloud from PC to my iPhone, iPad, and Apple tv?

How do I add music to the cloud from PC to my iPhone, iPad, and Apple tv?

icloud does not handle music, except for letting you download music you previously bought at the iTunes store.  For music, get it into iTunes on your PC, then connect your devices to the PC and using iTunes to sync it to them.  Not sure about Apple TV.  I think that might require buying a subscription to iTunes Match.

How do you add music to iPhone in Itunes it doesn't show up in the right hand corner anymore?

Reboot your computer. In iTunes go to View menu. Does it say Hide Sidebar? If it does look the iPhone in the left sidebar in iTunes.
If it says Show Sidebar and you still don't see the iPhone on the upper right try choosing Show Sidebar and look on the left.
If it's still not showing see: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538

They are not that expensive, but regardless, if better care had been taken with the cable to keep it in good working condition (i.e. not jerking the cable out, bending it tightly) then it would still be in very good, usable condition.
I still have and use the sync cable that came with my original 3GS four years ago.
