How do i add my name to show in the menu bar, i had the date, time and my user name showing in the menu bar before, but can't remember how to do it. Thank you.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to add the user name in the menu bar. I used to have it showing along with the time & date etc. But i've looked everywhere trying to figure out how to do it. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Okay I know i've done this before but can't remember how I did it.

I want JUST THE AUDIO from one of my event clips to put with one of my project clips. This has nothing to do with detaching audio from the clip. I just want to 'copy' the audio.

Make sure that you move the detached audio track so it is connected with another clip before your delete the clip else the audio track will go too.

The first thing I would check is to make sure your headphones are plugged all the way in. It may require an extra amount of force to get them to click and pop all the way in.
If that isn't the case, try a hard reset of your iPod. How you do that depends on what model iPod you have. See your iPod's User Guide for more assistance, or use this page to help locate your model and then troubleshoot your iPod from there.

Duplicate date, time and slide to open showing

I recently upgraded my iPhone 5s to the new operating system. It was fine initially. Now it shows a date of Friday, July 26 and a time of 7:14 on my phone behind my apps. And there is a duplicate "slide to unlock" showing at the bottom.

Very much dislike 5.0, would like to return to 3.8.6 I was using, or whatever it was below 4.0. I made this same mistake when 4.0 appeared but can't remember how to get back to old version.

Rune, now that you've upgraded, unless you had the older OS on your PC, I don't of a way to determine the earlier OS version.
If you did, it would be located on your PC at c:\program files\common files\research in motion\Shared\Loader Files

I need to cnage my camera roll pictures back to 'moments' but can't remember how to do it.

I need to change my photos on my iphone, they are currently as one big group but would like to change it back to 'moments' so I can clearly see when and where the photo was taken.

Open your Home library (not the root library), Application Support/Final Cut Pro/Layouts. Drag the folder to the trash. Npw re-launch the app.

Like what I did, but can't remember how I did it.

I'm new to PSE 8, so I'm just playing around with the software. I edited a picture in the Enhance, then Adjust Color then Replace Color menus after creating a Layer. It somehow changed it to look Andy Warholish. The original white background and my daughter's skin is now bright blue, with bright pinks and oranges hilighting my her hair. I did something with the dropper and the color palette while in Replace Color and I love the look, but now I can't duplicate the effects. Does anyone know how I can backtrack through a finished picture to see my work flow or edit history to see what I've done? Thanks!!

If the image is still open, you can use the Undo History Panel (window>Undo History) to see the steps you took, although not the settings (unless you slide back to each step and then you can see where things are). Once you close the image, there's no record anymore. Some people make a separate layer and keep a text record there for future reference.

My main library is stored in my G:drive, but can't remember how to open iTunes such that I can reselect/designate that library as the main, rather than my laptop temp library... any advice?

Is there any way to turn off the iCal feature whereby when someone emails you a meeting date/time and it automatically appears on your calendar? Once there they can't even be edited or deleted.

What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
You should be able to delete events in iCal as long as they are not from a "Subscription" calendar. Subscriptions show up on the left hand side of iCal under the "Subscription" category if you have any.
You can tell iCal to not check your mail program for invites by going and unchecking the box found in iCal > Preferences > Advanced > "Automatically retrieve..."

Here are a couple suggestions:
1. Go into Settings > Safari and Clear Cookies Clear Cache
2. Fully close Safari: from your home screen, double tap your home button and the most recently used Apps will show up. Hold your finger on the Safari App until all Apps start jiggling. You'll see a minus sign on the upper left side of Safari. Touch the minus and Safari will fully close. Touch your home button again to stop apps from jiggline, then touch your home button again to return to your home page.
3. Reboot your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart, but no data or settings will be lost.
After iPad comes back up, try Safari again, and you should be good to go.

If it was working before and you are on the same BB, I suggest doing these steps:
Full reboot:
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation.
If that does not restore the delivery of your emails, then re-push your service books:

Lastly, since it's HotMail, it may be that you have not done the recently required re-validation:

You can acces it from the menu 'Filters', there is a line called 'Easy.Filter', click it and it shows 'Smartcurve'.

I know that you don't need the CC 'rental' subscription to have Photoshop, but as far as I know, there is no upgrade path from Elements except periodical special offers.
