I am trying to add my college e-mail account to my phone. How do I do this?

i have had mozillafirefox forever and updated my yahoo e-mail and everything was good. went to bring up my yahoo e-mail and it was the classic e-mail, spoke to a yahoo customer care agent we looked at Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome, and the new version of yahoo e-mail is there. i have tried to download the new version of yahoo mail and it wont let me. so they tell me to speak to someone at mozillafirefox, so now i am here w/u asking how do i update my yahoo mail?

It's not possible. The e-mail protocol is designed for text; anything else has to go as an attachment.
Different mail clients (such as Mail.app, the mail client bundled with Mac OS X) may have different ways of handling such attachments, but they are still attachments. Each mail client has its own rules and methods, so one may display a picture as if it were in the body of the message, but another client may do something completely different.

I do not know if this will work but you can try. Place the image you want on a storage site like Imageshack or Photobucket. Then make a link to it in your signature using (img_src="put the url of your image here"). This may work at least when you have an active data connection - wifi or cellular

If you are using Outlook that comes with Office 2011 for Mac you should be using MS Exchange settings not trying to connect using POP
In Outlook add a new account and just input your [email protected] and the correct password for that account and let Outlook take care of all the other settings. It is a good idea to make sure all of the Office programs are updated to the newest update.

If it's an IMAP type account then you should have had an Edit button at the top of the current list of folders for that account - if it's a POP type account then it doesn't look like you can add folders (I can't add them to my POP account and other people have reported the same thing)

OK, I figured it out...I deleted the iCloud account off my iPhone (Settings, iCloud, Delete Account), and then added iCloud back in (Settings, iCloud, SignIn)....and then my email (iCloud) and "Find my phone" features worked! Nice!!!!

My Mac Address Book has more than 1,000 contacts. When I first got my iPhone, I synced all of these contacts into the phone. Now I want to cut that list in half. So I made a new group on my Mac Address Book. I'd like to sync that list to the phone. But I'm afraid that I'll just wind up adding 500 to the already listed 1,000.
How do I bring the new smaller list to the phone, eliminate the larger list from the phone, but continue to sync contacts that I put on to the phone into my Mac desktop Address book?

So I made a new group on my Mac Address Book. I'd like to sync that list to the phone. But I'm afraid that I'll just wind up adding 500 to the already listed 1,000.
Not true IF you use the following settings.
Under Sync Address Book Contacts, select Selected Groups.
Select this newly created Address Book Group only that contains 500 contacts in the Groups list and then sync.
When completed, the 500 contacts along with this single Group will be available on the iPhone only.
When adding a new contact to the iPhone's Address Book, you can add the new contact to the primary "All Contacts" Group or to the Group name that contains the 500 contacts transferred from your Mac.
Select the Group name to enter the contact in this Group which will be available in both - All Contacts and this Group name. If you enter a new contact in the primary All Contacts Group, it won't be available in the Group that contains the 500 contacts.
Syncing the iPhone will transfer any new contacts entered on the iPhone to your Address Book accordingly.

So let's say I receive an email to myself and 50 other recipients and I want to add those other recipients to my address book. Do I seriously have to go through and select "Add to Address Book" on each of the fifty contacts?! Tried doing a shift click which will highlight all contacts, but then when you right-click to get the "add to address book option" it only displays one single contact at the top of the menu. I know there is a way to add select and add multiple contacts to address book at once because I figured out how to do it once a long time ago and I still have the 67 card group to prove it. I just can't remember how I did it!!! Didn't think it'd be such a hard feature to re-discover. Would love some help on this! Thanks.

there is no built-in way to do this. the only way i know is by using Mail Scripts
