How do I add Outlook Web Access to mail accounts on my iPod?

I have Outlook Web Access on my laptop to access my work email.  I am trying to set up a mail account on my iPod Touch thru Microsoft Exchange unsuccessully. If I should be choosing "Other" instead of Microsoft Exchange, where do I find the incoming and outgoing mail server Host name and User name?  And am I using my password in both spots?
Any help is appreciated...thanks!

  • VLAN on RVS4000 disables access to Remote Web Workplace, Outlook Web Access

I have an RVS4000 setup with a VLAN to a wireless "guest" network, guest network is 192.168.1.x, internal network is 10.0.0.x both have Internet access, and cannot see each other, exactly what I wanted. The only problem is that either from the internal network or the guest network I can no longer access the Remote Web Workplace - https://mail.mydomain.com/remote or Outlook Web Access https://mail.mydomain.com/exchange fails with page not found. Internally I can access via \\server\remote and \\server\exchange but of course this does not work for the guest network. We have Small Business Server 2003. External access if fine. I'm assuming this is some kind of routing issue but not sure how to fix. Thanks.

  • BlackBerry Internet Service with Microsoft Outlook Web Access account

I need to switch my 8820 to a new work account.  They use Outlook Exchange 2003, but do not support BES.  I have access via both regular desktop Outlook and also Outlook Web Access (from a different server).   I read the procedure to use BIS in KnowledgeBase KB03133.  After entering my email address and password, I get a message that it was successfully set up.  But, I get no e-mail messages delivered.  When I check  the settings, it looks like it is not using the correct server for Web Access.  However, I can find no way to manually enter it - I don't get the error message described in Step 5 where I can pick "I will provide the settings."  I try to set up via computer but I get a message that my BIS cannot be accessed via HTML and need to set up on my BB.
Any suggestions?  Would it work with a newer phone running a newer OS?  Do I need to check with AT&T if it supports Outlook Web Access?  Thanks in advance.

Lot's of possible variables...here a several other KBs to try:

The trick to getting to the manual settings screen is to provide your valid email address, but an incorrect password...then, it will allow you to manually enter the settings.
    Good luck!

  • Outlook Web Access + Mail.app?

I'm setting up a friend (a new Mac user) with some applications, and he wants to use Mail in Tiger to check his school email account. His university uses Outlook Web Access for student accounts. Any way I can get Mail to work with his account?
    iSMH

This sounds like an Exchange type account and if so, an Exchange account with the Mail.app allows you to connect to your Exchange server via IMAP, and if you enter text in the Outlook Web Access Server field, Mail filters non-email related content from the server. (You can get the text you need to enter from your mail account provider.)
For Exchange to work with Mail, Exchange administrators need to configure the Exchange server for IMAP access. Some system administrators may refer to an Outlook Web Access Server as an Internet Information Services (IIS) server.

How can i add an administrator access so the admin can edit his webpage on the web browser?

A content management system or CMS is software usually on the server that allows client's to log-in and edit content from any web browser with an internet connection.  These web pages are typically built with server-side programming (PHP) and databases (MySql).
CMSs come big and small.  The right one for your project depends on

  • OWA (outlook web access) server character limit

    Hi,
When I try to add the server for my OWA account on the BIS account, it truncates the last portion, as it seems the server name is too long. Does anyone know what the character limit is set to (seems to only allow about 72 characters), or if BB has any plans on increasing this limit any time soon?
    Thank you,
    Ken

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
While I don't know the specific answer to your question, I can offer a potential workaround...
If you have been trying to configure using the device interface to BIS (Setup > Email Settings), then you might try (from a PC/browser) your carriers web interface to BIS. You can find it here:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
And FWIW here is the OWA configuration KB:

  • Outlook Integration - Quotations via Office Outlook Web-Access possible?

    Dear all,
via the Outlook Integration Add-On it is possible to view, create and edit Quotations via the Outlook Client and synchronize them with SAP Business One. The add-on automatically creates a folder in the Outlook client for all the Quotations.
Our company is using Microsoft Exchange and also the Office Outlook Web-Access function from Microsoft. Means the webbased Outlook Version. Also here of course I can see my quotation folder. But when I click on one of the Quotations in that folder, no any Data get displayed.
My question: Does somebody know a way how at least to display synchronized Quotations also via the web-based Outlook version?
Thanks a lot and best regards,
    David

    Dear Gordon,
what do you mean exactly by 'Through eMails'? I can see the quotations in my 'Quotations' folder in the outlook web-access Platform. But when I click on any of them, I just can see the subject. But he body (with Quotation details such as Header, Line Items, Footer) is empty. An example of a Subject looks as follows:
41 (Series=11,Key=41) Liberty City Pipes and Fittings - Posting Date: 3/3/2010

  • Outlook Web Access will only log in as Light Version

My office has been using Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Access for longer than a year at least. We have been using the full version.  We have a desktop operating Windows 7 with the most updated IE browser, and my computer a Windows 8 laptop with the
most updated IE browser. My lap top is where the problem is. As of about two days ago the OWA is only logging in as the Light version. There is an option on the log in screen that says "Use Outlook Web Access Light" and the box is checked and grayed
out so that I can not uncheck it. I did not check this myself it just happened. Also the setting for blind and vision impaired users is not checked off in the accessibility tab under options. I have checked the Windows 7 desktop and it is functioning
normally.  It allows the user to check or uncheck the "use outlook web access light" at will and does not get stuck in Light version.  Also please note that this is the same email address for both computers not multiple users
where one works and one doesn't.  I am charged to monitor the email in our office and do it from the laptop but there is access to it on the desktop if the other employee needs access.  I have also seen forums where they say to
change the server to say OWAPremiumClientEnabled. I do not know how to do this.  If this is a possible solution please give me steps on how to access the server which i don't even know if i am connected to.

What kind of help do you need?
If Outlook Web App opens just in a light version, you have to update your Exchange Server to resolve this issue.
Also you can temporarily add the URL/Domain to the Compatibility List as said Martina_Miskovic.

  • SharePoint 2013 (Foundation) and Outlook Web Access WebPart (OWAPart)

Hi, I've read most MSDN forum threads relating to this topic, however, I haven't seen my issue anywhere.
We're running SP 2013 foundation, and I want to use the Outlook Web Access web part.  I followed the steps outlined here:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/shawa/archive/2014/06/01/owa-web-part-in-sharepoint-2013.aspx
(Sorry, can't add link since I'm new around here)
To make the WebPart available in the site collection.  Which worked.
When I try to actually add the WebPart to a page though, I get an error message stating: "There was an error adding the component to the page" (roughly translated from french).
If I try to see the web part properties from the site settings > Web Parts, I get a SharePoint error page, and the help link yields no information.
Most problems I've seen are with the actual configuration of the WebPart, but I can't even get to that step.

I dont think you can use Outlook web app for foundation. This is not possible because those Web parts  use Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.dll
which is not avaliable and registered on SharePoint Foundation.
Instead of using the OWA web parts, you could also try using the Page Viewer web part and set it to the OWA URLs...
If this helped you resolve your issue, please mark it Answered

But I cannot do it with the iMac, and I don't undersatnd why?
the domain is is used for my iPhone is the following :

Does it have to be an applet?
If you want the same behaviour as in the code with traffic lights, change
    class MortgageApplet extends JApplet implements ActionListener {
    to
    class MortgageApplet extends JFrame implements ActionListener {
    and change
    public void init() {
    to
    public MortgageApplet() {

  • Is there a Firefox plug-in for Outlook Web Access?

I want to access all of Outlook's functions but can't through Firefox, only through Explorer.
In Outlook Web Access through Firefox, I don't have access to menu options for italics, bold, underlining, etc., and I can't view the list of emails on one side while viewing the email content of one email on the other side. The place to access folders like the sent box is different, too, through Firefox. It's a very downgraded version of Outlook Web Access. How can I get the better version of Outlook Web Access while still keeping Firefox as my browser? Is there a plug-in? If not, can Firefox fix this issue with its browser?

Firefox 3.03 - why such an old version? 3.6.12 is the most recent release.
It is up to Microsoft to fix Outlook Web Access to work with Firefox or to come up with a plugin for Firefox. If Mozilla was to start fixing or write plugins for all the software out there that is made to work with Internet Explorer and not any other browser, they wouldn't have time to work on Firefox.
There are two Firefox extensions that will open IE in a Firefox tab. Many users install one of these addons to get around problems like you are having with Outlook Web Access.
    IE Tab2

  • A problem with Win 7 Pro, Outlook Web Access based on Exchange Server 2003, and two different domains

    Dear Microsoft Support,
    As mentioned in the title,
I have two domains. One is Domain A at HQ. The other one is Domain A at branch office. A laptop having Win 7 Pro OS is a client of Domain A. The Domain A has Exchange Server 2003. Users of Domain B get connected to Exchange Server for email services. In
all clients of the Domain B, IP address of the email server added in C:\Windows\System 32\drivers\etc\host file.
Whereas in the clients of Domain A it was not done, because all the servers including the email server belong to the Domain A.
Now, a user with Domain A's client (it is a laptop) came to Branch office and wanted to access the Outlook (using Outlook Web Access). since there is no IP address added in the Host file of the laptop, connectivity to email is not possible. When I try to
add the IP address, I was not able to do so due to Domain A's security reasons.
So, let me know, is there a way out to add the IP address in the host file of the Domain A's client.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ravi Sekhar Modukuru

I would suggest adding the mailserver address in Domain B's DNS. Would that be possible?
I agree. The correct solution in this case (since it appears you already have a two-way Domain Trust in place) is to properly configure DNS in Domain 'B' to be a secondary of Domain 'A' and completely eliminate the need to maintain the HOSTS file.
