I have a new IPad that I use for personal and work. I installed the $5 iPhoto app on the iPad and I can email photos, but only using my personal gmail linked to my iTunes. How can I add my work email to iPhoto so that I can send photos from my work email? I've looked in the iPad's settings but can't figure it out. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

You need to ask your mail provider for the setup info. Usually it can be found on ther website in their help pages or the like for most email providers.
If its a known service like hotmail, or gmail, there are preset options for those that fill in the required server info.
If its a corporate email, the IT department should have this information.

I put in the right incoming and outgoing info and then it says it can not contact my server. I am able to retrieve my email from the website mail2web.com so I know it lets emails be retrieved.
I know that when I set up my outlook exchange on my computer the internet provider would not let me just enter my server but required I use the comcast smtp server. Is this the same with At&T.

Something is missing or wrong in your settings. OR your server is only accessible via VPN.

SMTP is for sending only; it shouldn't affect receiving. Some ISPs only allow access to their servers for sending if you are directly connected to their network. Others allow access from anywhere, but if they do you must enter a user ID and password even though the iPhone setting says "optional".
