How do I add the facebook logo to my Windows 8 screen?

I am a facebook user but ignorant on manipulation of the computer to find a facebook logo and then add it into my windows 8.1 screen of apps, etc. It's probably very simple, but then so am I........!

question: is there a way to lock this option up? Because it happens often (maybe like twice a month) when I am multi'tasking that I accidently drag out a folder... so is there a way to lock that up?
Also I guess this is also a similar question, what about the DOCK.. is there a way I can lock it? And if i want to drag something out the DOCK i can bypass an alert msg?

How can I active the Facebook & Twitter in the Services in the Add-ons menu?

When I log on to my facebook account, I don't see any Turn On or Activate button on the page. A sidebar will open and a confirmation message will be shown.
Click OK in the confirmation message to turn the service on.
Is there something special I have to have installed before I log on to my facebook account?

Okay, I had to wipe my hard drive and install a clean version of Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 [32-bit] and the latest Beta version of Firefox 26.
When I log onto Facebook, how to I add the Social Features to Firefox? Where on Facebook will I see "Click the Turn On or Activate button on the page. A sidebar will open and a confirmation message will be shown. "? I've tried everything on [[Add social features to your browser]], and on [[Find and install add-ons to add features to Firefox]] .

That was helpful, but I'm still having problems.
I've plonked a Facebook logo on the page.
BUT I can't seem to give it a hyperlink to my Facebook page.
When I select the logo and then use the tool bars or the box thingy. It won't allow me to paste in the URL.
It looks a bit ugly having a Facebook logo and the text of the URL beside it.
Is there a way of making the Facebook logo have a hyperlink to its URL so you just click on the logo and it takes you to the facebook page.

How do I uninstall the facebook plugins? I'm currently having problem loading pages because my office server blocks everything that it was not blocking before. I tried deleting the name in the list and it won't let me - doesn't highlight. Same under the Edit tab - it won't hilight. This card is not like the other cards where you can do that.
