How do I add the word "DRAFT" as a watermark on a Pages document?
I don't want to create an image - I just want to type in the word and have it appear across every page.

This assumes that you are working in Word Processing Mode.
o Insert a Text Box on your first page.
o Type "Draft" in the text box.
o Select the word "Draft" and on the Format Bar select 144 pt. font size.
o Enlarge the text box to fit the text and drag it to the center of the page.
o Select the text again and click on the Color Well on the Format Bar.
o Drag the Opacity Slider on the color palette to 50% or so, making the text look like a watermark.
o Then From the Pages Menu, select Format > Advanced > Move Object to Section Master.
The word DRAFT will now appear on each page of the section. If you have multiple sections, you will have to paste the text box into each Section and move it to the Master layer.

To type japanese on a computer you change the keyboard, not the font. Go to system prefs/keyboard/input sources and add Japanese/Kotoeri to the list, then select Hiragana in the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen, then type. The font will take care of itself.

No.
You can do it in the print panel when printing, in the Slideshow module or you can do it on export using the LR/mogrify export plugin, or using a Photoshop droplet, but you cannot actually change your images in Library to have an overlay like that.

There's not an option to add a word to the dictionary. However, after typing that word several times, it will start to recognize it and offer it as a suggested word.

Every time you duplicate a folder or a layer, it adds the word "Copy" at the end. Is there a way to get rid of this?
I've been looking for a solution to this for the past 2 years. I spend 8 hours a day in Photoshop creating Comps. I'm crazy about having my layers clean, therefore I use a lot of folders, etc.
I probably waste an hour a day removing the $%)?#* Copy word at the end of layers/folders. This is driving me CRAZY while losing a lot of precious time.
Any clues?
I'm still hoping Adobe will get rid of this with every new release and it never happens. Am I actualy the only one to think this "feature" is insane?

I hate that too, I have my own system for saving and naming files
I work in psd >>save as layered
then save a tiff flattened at porint dimensions
then a save for web copy
since there is no other tiff saved in the folder I don't need the word copy
added to the file name
it is annoying
the only work around is to leave the layers box checked in the save dialog
and then in the next dialog box choose discard layers and save flattened

I added "M&A" to the User Dictionary in InDesign, but it did not seem to recognize this word. Instead, it highlighted the character "M". I suspect this must be to do with the ampersand. How do I add a word like this so that spell check ignores them?

I would suggest instead that you mark it with "[No Language]" - that should prevent spellcheck just as well, without needing to fiddle with custom dictionaries. (Which I honestly don't know how to do - we do all of our linguistic QA outside of InDesign, so I've never used a custom dictionary, otherwise I'd tell you how.)

You might need to sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf" using your Adobe ID credentials to convert your PDF file to Word.
Do you get the 'download' prompt?
Also, you can find the converted files by clicking at the 'Files' tab.
Please try the same using a different browser and check.

You can't add a new contact to specific group and there is no app for this. 3rd party apps don't have access to private iPhone APIs with security concerns being a primary reason, which such a function would require.
