For 10.8.3, it's in System Preferences > Accessiblity > highlight Mouse & trackpad on the left. The Double click speed slider shows on the right. Moving it to the left gives you more time between clicks. Moving it right gives you less time.

By default, Acrobat DC for iOS displays recently viewed files. You need to switch to other file location (such as Local, Document Cloud, Creative Cloud) to delete, rename, move, or duplicate files.
You can switch to Local, if you would like to see the files and folders that are locally stored on your iPad.

Mac video card performance

I have a Mac G4 (version=3.3) How can I connect it to my BT Broadband. It does not seem to have an AirPort card - do I need one and if so how do I get one? Many thanks

I bought a Power Mac G4 (version=3.3) second hand from my company. It is running Mac OS 10.2.8 and Microsoft Office X. I wish to connect it to my BT broadband hub. However, it does not appear to have an AirPort card and even if it did I was told that the BT hub mainly works with microsoft rather than apple products. Can anyone advise me how I can connect and what products I need to buy?

Not true. Those adaptors were intended for the iMac G3 (long outdated) and only the iMac G3. All G4 machines just take AP Cards the way they are.

Actually I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to OS X Leopard. Tiger is no longer supported by hardly anybody (Apple, Adobe, etc) and Leopard is still the minimum for most things nowadays. If you want more life out of this Mac, then I would highly recommend installing Leopard. And as mentioned above you NEED a Retail DVD. Ah, ok, so what you need to do is order the retail Snow Leopard disk first (10.6) - either from the Apple store or online resellers ($29). Install that and update to the latest version - 10.6.8. Once there, you will note a new app called Mac App Store - that is where you go (using your iTunes account) and buy Lion 10.7 - it is a very large download (close to 4 GB) and not available as a DVD. Once downloaded, dismiss the installer and immediately go to your Applications folder. Find the Installer and copy it to another location for safekeeping/future use (so you don't have to download it again). Then double click the installer and run it.
Note: PowerPC apps will no longer work under Lion (i.e. Appleworks, Quicken).

I have this problem too. Photo stream works fine on iPhone+iPad, but the photos are never loaded to my PC (Win 8.1). My shared folders works fine on iOS and PC, but not My photo stram.
In the beginning, a couple of years ago, it work, but not now (2014).
All iOS are updated, and PC-iCloud software/panel is Active, and Photo stream is activated.
What to do??
Reset all streams on PC? I tried, no result.

If I understand you correctly, when you enter a date in the Adjust Date and Time window, the picture does not update with the date you enter. If that is the case then something is wrong with iPhoto or your perhaps your library.
How large a date change are you putting in? iPhoto currently has an issue with date changes beyond about 60 years at a time. If the difference between the current date on the image and the date you are entering is beyond that range that may explain why this is not working.
If that is not the case:
Remove the following to the trash and restart the computer and try again:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.iphoto
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.iPhoto (There may be more than one. Remove them all.)
---NOTE: to get to the "home > library" hold down option on the keyboard and click on "Go" > "Library" while in the Finder.

Try Contacts>Preferences...>Accounts...remove {-}/re-add {+}your iCloud account.
If that is not successful, follow the steps listed in iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts.

Click your Apple menu icon top left corner of your screen.
From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
If Mountain Lion is installed, it will say: v10.8
If not, launch the App Store. From the App Store menu bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
FYI .. for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

In terms of searching i have searched for photos on my finder. However, none of the photos that appear are from my iPhoto Library.

if you go to a webpage with an opensearch link tag like "<link rel="search" type="application/opensearchdescription+xml...." FF3.x highlighted the small arrow left of the search box and you could add the search engine. this does not seem to work in FF4.

You do not get the blue glow on the search engine icon in Firefox 4, but you should still see the "Add ... site" entry in the menu if you click the search engines icon on the Navigation Toolbar.
