I have an HP Officejet 4500 all-in-one printer and a new HP pavilion Slimline computer. Since I changed to this computer, my printouts have very small font size making them hard to read. How can I adjust the font size of the printout? Is it a computer or printer function? I appreciate the help.

I, too, am frustrated. This seems like something that would easily be handled within the application software. However, none of the fixes I've been offered have been very helpful. My cousin sugested using Control C and Control V to move the text to WORD. Once in WORD, you can manipulate the text on a WORD page...sometimes. I've had good and bad luck with this method. How to change fontsize in iTunes
Take an XML-Editor and open:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\de.lproj\TextStyles.plist"
For other languages change your country code (de, en, fr, pl ...).
Example for english: "\en.lproj\TextStyles.plist".
Backup this File !!!
To change the Text-Size, change the integer value of the following item:

Click on the text in the menu so that you see the bounding box around it. Look to the right of the Movie Menu customization workspace, Adjustments Palette, Text and edit your text font style and size.
In this screenshot, "Glass Flowers" text in the main menu is selected and its Adjustments Palette Text editing opportunities are shown. To do comparable editing in the scene menu, click on the scene menu in the bin to bring its image up to the screen.

If, however, you want to change the size of the display of the menubar, meaning make the icons and text larger, there is no way to do that directly other than to change the resolution of the screen.
You can change the as-viewed size of that temporarily by using either -
• Mouse zoom - if you have a Magic Mouse (Apple wireless mouse), hold down the Control key and use the scroll up and scroll down finger gestures on the mouse.
• Zoom - go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing and turn on Zoom. You can also use the noted keyboard shortcut to enable/disable this Zoom feature.

I created a collage in PSE 10 and took the photo to Ritz to have printed out in an 18" x 24" poster. When the file was read into their computer for printing, the sizing came up as 18'1/2" x 24". Printing the photo as is will cut 1/2" off of the collage. How do I adjust the print parameters of my photo file in PSE 10 to be exacetly 18" x 24"? Thanks.

Here is my suggestion:
Open a blank, new file (File>new>blank file) size 8.5x11"
Open the collage
Go to Select>all
Go to Edit>copy
Go back to the blank file created in step #1
Go to Edit>paste. The collage will be on its own layer
Access the move tool, and with the corner handles resize the collage. Using the corner handles should preserve the aspect ratio. If you open the rulers, you will have a point of reference as you go along.
Print a draft copy to see if it will be suitable in the frame..
Please report back with your progress.

This does not address how to limit the *** display size *** where you have multiple intermedia image types - where the original size is not uniform.
If an image is uploaded where the true image display size is 1024 x 768 - it will display that way in the table/table-form. This will create un-even display size's where previous images sizes where different 384 x 384 and so on.
Is there a way to encode the display size so that *** ALL *** images regardless of their true size are displayed uniformly at least on one dimension (64 x ???)? This is possible when using products such as Dreamweaver or Flash.

I did some tests, and was able to reproduce it. The problem is that JHeadstart distinguishes between display types fileDownload and image, but UIX uses the same <media> tag to handle both display types. It will look at runtime whether it must render a hyperlink to download the document, or to render it right away as an image.
To get all images the same size, you can set the display width and height, AND the display type must be set to image.
However, to get the file name used as download link, you must set the FileName attribute AND the display type must be set to "fileDownload" ..
So, to solve your problem, it is easiest to set the displayType to "fileDownload" and set the width and height properties post-generation in the generated UIX page.
In the next release of Jheadstart, we will fix this, and always pick up width, height and fileName settings regardless of the display type.
Note that you should also set the FileName property against the attribute you are using to upload the file.

How to adjust the display size?

The player scales itself into the browser window, which is a problem for videos (containing text). How can I managed to get the content displayed in original size?
I tried to adjust the index.html by setting fixed values in the showflash call. e.g. showFlash("viewer.swf", "100%", "600px", false). Thus the content is displayed with a limit of 600 px in heigth, including the background and bars of the player. The pixel value given has to be calculated by trial and error for each document size.
Is there a way to preset the size of the area the player uses to display the content or another solution?

Try selecting the pages you would like to display at 85% in the Page Thumbnail navigation pane. Right-click and select Page Properties. Click on the Actions tab and choose Go to a Page view from the dropdown.
Next, change the magnification of those same pages and click Set Link.
Each time someone navigates to those pages the magnification will change to 85%.

How do I adjust the display and sound with my Macbook Pro connected to my Sony Bravia?

I just bought the DVI - HDMI and then connected my Mac to my 46" Sony Bravia. It works obviously cause I'm typing right now, but it is so painful to try and read anything less than what appears to be 14 font or so. The display is set at 1080p obviously because that's the whole point of this, but is there a way to try and make things bigger? I don't want to sit super close to the TV and fry my eyeballs, that also defeats the purpose of this. Another question regarding sound. It seems I can only adjust the sound from my keyboard, but I would rather do it through my TV's volume control so I can make things louder. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

If everything else is the same, that is strange. I have seen a post or two that reported only certain HDMI ports working with computer input, so if the Sammy has another HDMI input, give that a try.

Use the file export command (Shift-Command-E), adjust the size to whatever you want.
