I am trying to access information from my employer that i am allowed to see but firefox is blocking this from happening.

How do I get firefox to let me access my email and favorite web sites?

Firefox freezes up every other time I log into my gmail account. I also can't see my home page (wall) on facebook. There several games I an unable to keep access to as well, one of which is on facebook. I have tried reloading firefox 3 times. After the last reload every time I open firefox I get the welcome page and it sets firefox as my home page (which it won't let me change to google).

How long were you running Firefox before it started misbehaving?
Usually reinstalling or uninstalling/installing Firefox will only cure a small number of issues, primarily issues with corrupted program files. The reason is that most Firefox issues are caused by stuff in your personal settings folder.
But don't delete all your personal settings. Instead, try the Reset feature. This duplicates certain key data from your active settings folder into a new one, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. Your old settings folder will be relocated to your desktop as Old Firefox Settings, in case you need to rescue anything from it after the reset.

Simple and annoying. . Extremely frustrating issue with Firefox for Android. ..
I watch a YouTube video or any flash video. . And after I hit play, the ONLY way to stop it is to hit pause or let it play to the end or close the tab. .

Need a Firefox script to loop through a set of web pages

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had come across a script for this purpose?
I need to power on a PC of mine, have it automatically start Firefox on startup (easy so far) then load a "loop" of predefined internal web pages that it keeps up on-screen for, say 5 seconds each webpage (5 pages in total that it would flick through)
Is it also possible to script or force Firefox to open in Full screen mode?

Just read that the default memory storage on FF is set to 5 mbs. You can up that by clicking on tools, advanced and overriding the default and set it to 50 mbs (if you use lots of tabs) or 10 mbs (if you use just a few).
I open a blank tab and clear the cache periodically, while I am working. I can have several tabs open and watch videos on Youtube, by doing this. Have you cleared your cache?
Since I have an older computer, I've also used CCleaner for years. I use it often, but always before signing off. You can get it free...search for CCleaner, download from Pirifoam free. I didn't change any of the settings and it clears crap left behind from uninstalling programs, clears all browsers at once of: cookies, history, passwords, etc. I love it!
I had freezing, before using the "open blank tab, clear the cache" thing. Now I have no problems. Plus, as I said...you can change the default memory usage for FF and that should help too.

Help!!! How to make quicktime plugin do not display on top of the web page?

Any one knows how to make quicktime plugin do not display on top of the web page??? I've tried to change the zIndex property using javascript, but it doesn't work.
Because we have some widgets which are required to be moved to anywhere on the page, we use iframe to implement that, so it can display on top of quicktime plugin, but the plugin flickers sometimes when we do some operation on the widget which is on top of it.
Anyone can helps me? Thanks in advance!!!

I am using a website that has a show/hide text toggle. When I click the show button, it opens a new blank tab. I tested this on google chrome as well and it works properly. There must be a setting in firefox to correct this but I don't know what it is.

Such a hide/show action is usually done via a JavaScript onclick event.
If you get a new tab or window then this would suggest that the onclick isn't working and that the href is used and opens the new tab.
You could check via the right-click context menu in the Inspector if there is an 'ev' button appended to this link (button).
