How do I apply for any Photoshop CS Master Collection Beta?

How do I apply for any Photoshop CS Master Collection Collection Beta?  John

Hi, see this discussion:
http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/how_do_i_become_a_beta_tester_for_ad obe_software
But Photoshop CSx and the Master Collection are not the same... Individual product vs suite of software.

  • How do I apply for a Back to School 50$ itunes card?

    Hello everyone,
I apologise in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section.
My step-mother recently visited the US for holiday and bought me a brand new iPad 3 from the apple store as a present because I am starting university in England in September. This was all about 2 weeks ago.
I recently found out that my situation meets the requirements to get a free $50 USD iTunes card to spend on apps for university (which I would find incredibly usefull!) and so I would like to know how I can get this card?
    Thanks!
    - David

Sorry, but you probably can't. The US program only applies to those who are enrolled or enrolling in a US university, so you can't apply for the US back-to-school program (and couldn't use the US-issued gift card in the UK anyway) and I believe that the UK program requires that you purchase from the UK Apple Store (the US program does). You can call the UK Apple Store and ask if there's any way a US-purchased iPad would qualify for the UK back-to-school program, but it's not likely.
    Good luck.

  • How do I apply for iTunes U private site?

I am going crazy trying to figure out how to apply for a private site.  My instructors want their class content restricted to their students.  We have some public content also, but I am very confused how this works.
I have looked everywhere for a separate private site application.  The adminstrators guide said it could be applied for at the same time as the public site but I couldn't figure it out.
    Please help!

I believe classes are created private by default, so your instructiors will start with a private class. As I understand it, only you (as an admin) have the power to make a particular course public.

  • HT4009 I purchased hipstamatic the other day due to an ad I read.  When I tried to use it, it didn't meet my expectations. I'm not going to use it at all. How can I apply for a refund please?  Thank you!

I purchased hipstamatic app the other day. When I tried to use it, it didn't meet the expected features it advertised. How can I ask for a refund?

If it's not workins as described in the store then you can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • How To Repair /Reload PS CS3 Extended in Master Collection

How do I repair or re-load Photoshop CS3 in the Master Collection? The program is acting funny after several shutdowns, the preferences have been reset...and it still is behaving badly.
I usually just un-install and re-install Photoshop occasionally to get rid of hard gremlins...but...I am concerned with Master Collection. I spent weeks trying to install the original package...and the only way I could get it to install sanely was to wipe my disk to a clean windows install and then do the Master Suite First...otherwise the install would fail after an hour of loading in.
How do I repair or Reload CS3 Extended Master Suite without having to risk crippling my entire install and machine and spending 3-5 hours.
After spending 54 hours troubbleshooting the original install...Im pretty skittish about fooling with it...dont know if they fixed the install yet...it used to be that you had to call support and wait 3 days to get the latest fix.
Thanks for any clues or tips or fixes.
    Suzzie

Well, in short: you don't. Unfortunately using the clean script is technically the only sane solution. However, you can "futz around". If you don't mind loosing the uninstall option in the "Add or Remove Programs" panel, are reasonably certain that no other core component is damaged and can except side effects like Bridge settings and some preferences being reset, you can use the "Microsoft Installer Database Cleanup Utility" to manually(!) remove everything(!) that leaves a trace in the installer list and is related to CS3, including Extend Script Toolkit and all the other fluff tools. After that, you may choose an "Custom Install" with Photoshop only selected. This will overwrite everything in PS, Bridge and a few others, but leave your other tools untouched. Be warned though, success is not guaranteed and this is all on your own risk, so backing up the damaged install first to a different partition/ disk is no bad idea as is deactivating the suite to prevent the "Licensing has stopped working" error. Short of that I can only think of the standalone Photoshop Tryout installer and similar procedures beforehand, but I don't know if it can be unlocked with suite serials, so it may not do any good.

  • Reinstalling Photoshop With Master Collection Downloaded

Hello, I ran into an error unexpectedly that said Photoshop was missing files.I then uninstalled it and am now trying to figure out how to reinstall it.
I have a copy of the master collection and i just downloaded Photoshop again from the bridge. Do i have to use my master collection key for it to work? Or would i have to uninstall the entire master collection and download it all again?

It depends is your serial number for Master Collection?  If so then you will need to install Photoshop through the Master Collection installer.  You can customize your installation however so that only Photoshop installs.

  • Users for Creative Cloud from Master Collection 5.5

I was allowed 4 active installs of my Master Collection 5.5. This worked perfectly for my wife and I. If I take advantage of this Creative Cloud, will we both be able to work at the same time? How many active installs will I be allowed? Currently, we have 5.5 on our laptops and desktops. No matter where we are, or what we're doing, we can utilize our software. Will the same be true with one subscription of creative cloud?
    Kind regards
    Dennis

Yes, for each CC license now it's actually better than what it was for CS6:

  • Photoshop/ Adobe Master Collection-PC-System-Zusammenstellung

    MOTHERBOARD:
    GRAFIKKARTE:
    Eine GTX 560?!
---- Auch da bin ich mir nicht sicher. Welche Firma stellt die besten her?!
    HDD:
Also schneller?

    Look here: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/mastercollection/systemreqs/
These system requirements are absolute minimum and pretty optimistic.
You need at least a dedicated disk, but 2 is much better. Win7 works fine. And it will not be enough to edit AVCHD by far.

  • Try to re-install any aplication from Master Collection CS3

I have a Master Collection downloaded from Net (ESD) installed in a XP Windows SP3. Now that I need to install the Acrobat 8 from the package I just dont remmenber the initial path I used for the installation, since I remove all the package to several DVDs. When I start a SETUP it just asks me to put the image on a D:\ drive but I just don't know if I used sub-folders or whatever.
I've been trying to run the SETUP from the DVD too, but with bad results, since it was loadded another entrance on the ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS on the Control Panel with the same name - Add or Remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection ==> Size 261,00 MBytes.
Does anybody give me a hand?

Can you please provide the exact error message you are receiving?  Also which operating system are you utilizing?

  • How do you apply screens in Photoshop?

Am new to CS5 and I discovered something quite accidently.  In Essentials under styles I learned of these little boxes with dots around them and you could drag that over to your picture and a nice screen would appear over your photograph--much like the comic book effect if you did sketch and stamp and sketch and half tone, but this was an already made screen.  I went down the styles looking for how those dots formed into a screen where it would lay over your entire photograph.  I'm not sure how I was able to get that effect, but any of those boxes I clicked on would have that screen with different sized dots.  How do you do that with some skill?

This is more of a correct answer that you gave than I have elsewhere been able to decipher.  I tried clicking some of the styles, but I just didn't find the style that gave the screen effect.  I was thinking it might be textured brushes as that paints on a screen of dots, but it doesn't do that correctly like the first time--where I just clicked the style and the screen of dots appeared.  A guy by the name of Alex Summersby in Practical Photoshop  talked about getting this effect by posterized layer, to filter-sketch-stamp and then duplicate layer to  filter-sketch-halftone pattern--which you can do just a little better with your idea of the pixelate.   So in that sense the answer to the question is correct as far as getting the result that I wanted.  But I was never able to figure out how to do it by clicking on one of the styles and getting white dots or grey dots and black dots.  This will take some additional figuring out.  But thank you for taking the time to answer my question.  Best, Jeannie19
