How do I apply properties to a control refnum from another VI and whose type I know?

Hi,
I have programmatically retrieved the Control refnum of a Table running on a separate VI. I search for its name and when match ocurrs I would like to use its control refnum to change som cell values in it by either the Invoke node or Property node. Nevertheless even though I know it is a Table I am not allowed to wire the control refnum to a property node with "Active cell", "BG color" et.c. I am not either allowed to wire it to an Invoke node with the method "Set Cell Value".
Is there a work around for this?

Well, i assume that Santhosh solution works too (i hope he tested it before ). So no mistake here. Still, if you like, you can take the "solution" flag back from a post and redistribute it....

it is a freshly installed Oracle 10gR2 EE on windows xp professional.. all settings are default by installer.
i can open the Database Control Webpage on the database machine by typing http://localhost:1158/em in IE.
however when i try to open it from another pc on the same LAN by using http://database_pc_ip_address:1158/em in IE, it says the page can not be found.
what else need to be done before i can open the Database Control Webpage from another PC?

You have a configuration problem on your database machine, LOCALHOST is resolved to the internal loopback address 127.0.0.1, not to the actual IP-Address of the machine. Such a configuration works only locally, for remote access you have to specify a hostname known to the network. Check the installation guide for the correct setup (machines connected to a network or not, DHCP or not):

How to call a specific method in a servlet from another servlet

Hi peeps, this post is kinda linked to my other thread but more direct !!
I need to call a method from another servlet and retrieve info/objects from that method and manipulate them in the originating servlet .... how can I do it ?
Assume the originating servlet is called Control and the servlet/method I want to access is DAO/login.
I can create an object of the DAO class, say newDAO, and access the login method by newDAO.login(username, password). Then how do I get the returned info from the DAO ??
Can I use the RequestDispatcher to INCLUDE the call to the DAO class method "login" ???

So if I have a method in my DAO class called login() and I want to call it from my control servlet, what would the syntax be ?
getrequestdispatcher.include(newDAO.login())
where newDAO is an instance of the class DAO, would that be correct ?? I'd simply pass the request object as a parameter in the login method and to retrieve the results of login() the requestdispatcher.include method will return whatever I set as an attribute to the request object, do I have that right ?!!!!

I currently run OS X 10.10.1
Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

To turn off auto sync - launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices - check the box at the bottom that says - Prevent iPod, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. Click OK and then quit iTunes.
Connect your iDevice to your PC.
Launch iTunes,
Click on the device name on the left side of the iTunes Window.
Click on the Photos Tab in the iTunes window on the right.
Untick all of the photos or albums that you want to remove.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you untick or uncheck the Sync Photos heading and then click Apply it will remove all of the photos from the device when it syncs. In this screenshot - I have only certain albums and events selected to sync.

I have just installed Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 on my PC Windows XP , created database and configured DB control
I can open Database Control Webpage on the database machine by typing

But can not open it from another PC
When I do following from another PC

Get error: [code=DNS_NO_DATA] The IP address was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator.

Get error:Can not display web page
I can ping 136.18.70.189 but not USI2374993VND0.vlgdw2k.visteon.com
On the other PC I also tried adding 136.18.70.189 to
tools - internet options - security - local internet - sites - advanced - add this web
site to the zone as http://136.18.70.189
But it did not work
Please help with any ideas

Is there a way to call apple and get a step by step of how to restore from another restore point? Does anybody have a solution????

It tells you to go to Error 13 and 14 if you receive error (-50).
Here is what I have tried...
Error 13 and 14: These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting. I have moved it around to different ports.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer. Didn't change anything.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts. Removed all virus protection and firewall.

The 4G/iOS 6 does not have an Activation Lock. That started with iOS 7.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For example, if I am downloading a paper by smith called "Surgery" that was published in 2002, it will automatically set the file name in the download to smith- surgery 2002. I have heard pages is smart enough to do this.

Pages can export only its own documents. They may be exported as PDF, MS Word, RTF or Text files.
Pages can import (ie. Open a file as, or Insert a file into, a Pages document) documents in several formats, but won't rename the document as you describe. Documents that can be Opened (eg. Text, AppleWorks 6 WP, MS Word files) are converted to Pages documents, and retain their original names, with .pages replacing the original file extension. Files that can be Inserted (generally .jpg, .pdf and other image files) become part of the existing Pages file and lose their names.
It may be possible, using AppleScript, to extract the text you want and to Save a Pages file using that text as the filename, but that would depend in part on being able to identify which text is wanted and which is not.
How will the script determine where the author's name begins and where it ends?
How will the script recognize the beginning and of the title, an decide how much of the title to use in the filename?
How will the script recognize the year of publication?
For papers published in a specific journal, with a strict format for placing each of these pieces on information, or containing the needed information as searchable meta data in the file, this might be possible. But it would require knowledge of the structure of these files, and would probably handle only papers published in a specific journal or set of journals.
Outside my field of knowledge, but there are some talented scripters around here who might want to take a closer look.

Individually running the reports, I can use p_arg_names and

that has both portlets, my .show is gone and I cannot get it to

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?
