How do I apply rules for date to cell

I use numbers 3.1. And I have trouble to apply a specific rule for a cell. I want to achieve an automatic fill in for a cell for todays date. So I open the filter on the right side of my document. I chose "date and time" and then I define the rule for its altering application for every week. I manage to go over the definition insofar as I choose "today" and the style "kursive". But I am unable to fill in this information into the cell. I hope I explained this function understandable for I am German and I use of course the German layout in Numbers. ( I could not find a german speaking platform for my problem ). Can someone help?

Because of this, I find myself having a very long list of domains to change Arial to Tahoma, only because I don't want that rule to apply to wikipedia.org and additional one or two other websites.

I have a need for an "enhanced" rule for date determination to be used in a contract profile for a sales contract.
In our current system (SAP ECC 6.0) only the following rules are possible to choose:
01 Today's date
02 Contract start date
04 Acceptance date
05 Installation date
06 Date contract signed
07 Billing date/Invoice date
08 CntrctStDate+contract duration
09 Contract end date
In supplement to these I would like to create
ZZ CntrctStDate+to year end
This rule should set the end date in the contract according to the following logic.
If the Contract start date is between YYYY-01-01 and YYYY-05-31 the Contract end date should be calculated to YYYY-12-31 in the current year. Else (if Contract start date is between YYYY-06-01 and YYYY-12-31) the Contract end date should be calculated to YYYY-12-31 in the following year.
I have searched the IMG and Development Workbench but I canu2019t find any place where it is possible to create own rules like the ones above (that is defined by SAP). Does anyone have a tip on how to proceed?

Substitute business area with Y045.
It is not working .

Why can't we use Substitition for the above issue.

How can i setup Enhanced Retro for Global HR International.
Iam implementing HR/Payroll on latest 12i. I am using HR International.
when i execute the following query , there is no records

I have created events, event groups, enable dynamic triggers for my business group and legislation(IQ) and enter the corresponding event group and retro element in the Element screen(retro component).
And i update one allowance in the back period , and I found one row has been inserted in pay_process_events table. But i am not able to run enhanced Retro Notification report and not able to find any Enhanced Retro concurrent request.
Any one have any idea?

There are no specific concurrent programs for Enhanced/Advanced retropay. The old ones still do, and derive under the hood the method of retropay.
I do not recall by hard the setting to activate enhanced retro (but it is a legislation rule), but it should show already in the element type screen. If you have the retro tab in the screen, and first you have to specify the method (Adjustment, ...) before specifying the retro element type (and time span), then you know that enhanced retro is configured correctly.

I get many unwanted emails from AOL.com and cannot figure out a way to create a rule that applies to the entire domain. <*aol.com> does not work and the 'sender' name changes with each one.

1. Determine industry sector.
2. Maintainng process keys,
3. Maintining Application Indicatore in BF11.
Also activate other two ds - 2lis_03_bf & UM.
Then try to fill again setup data.

How do I "Apply Rules" to a list of messages via Applescript?

I am attempting to write an Applescript. It needs to enable a particular rule (got that figured out), then re-apply all rules (all of them) for all of the messages in the Inbox and the Sent box. I figured out how to get the list of messages in to a variable but I do not see anything in the Mail dictionary to apply the rules -- (or evaluate the rules or nothing).
I suppose I could use the GUI style "System Event" form of scripting but that is always really hard for me to figure out how to do.

I suspect it would be faster & easier in a lot of cases just to implement the rules as AppleScripts in the first place & call them with a simple "Every Message" Mail rule.

How do you apply rules based on read status?

I migrated to Mail.app from PowerMail, and one of the powerful options available when creating a filter/rule in PowerMail was the ability to check the status of the message (message is/is not read) before applying the rest of the rule.
Is there a way to apply this same check within a rule in Mail.app?
This option is used to create rules that file mail ONLY AFTER it has been read.
Obviously, the user must apply the rule manually since rules are only fired off when mail comes in, or when one highlights one or more message(s) and then selects the "Apply Rules" option from the contextual menu or from the Message menu.
What makes this so powerful is that rather than having to manually file every message after you read it you can create rules that check status for read, if it is check to see if it matches other criteria, and if it does, put it in a folder with other like messages.
Like many people, I have a large number of folders and subfolders into which I file my messages. By creating such a rule, I only have to file a message that matches other criteria once, use that to set up the criteria for the rule, and on subsequent messages that match that criteria, I only have to apply the rule after I have read it.
I could just file all the messages directly into their appropriate folders, but then I have to keep watch on the subfolders for new mail, rather than just watching the inbox, reading the new mail, then using the Apply Rules item to have the read message checked and then filed based on the criteria that it matches.
The logic might look like this.
Is Read status true
AND
The subject contains "Intranet"
THEN
Move message to /On My Mac/Work Mail/Current Projects/Intranet Project/ mail folder
THEN
Stop processing rules.
Without the ability to test the message's "read status" I have to select the message, right click to select "Move To>" from the contextual menu, then mouse through four sub panes to put the read message in the folder where I want to store it.
I also cannot select a number of read messages and use the Apply Rules option to allow my filing rules to move any number of read messages to their proper storage folders.
If anyone has a method for doing this, please let me know. It is the one thing I miss most about PowerMail.

I have been doing some of this, and while it does provide some of the functionality that is lost without the ability to apply rules only to read messages, it is not a complete solution. One of the biggest drawbacks is that it is not easy to selectively limit what new mail shows up the smart mailbox. One approach that works, sort of, is to limit the smart mailbox to only messages from people in my address book. However, not all relevant messages are from people already in my mailbox, so it requires constantly double checking to make sure that things are slipping through the cracks.
The best thing about being able to apply rules, after receiving them, based on the status of a message is that it puts the control in the users hands. It allows you to selectively apply rules, only when you want to apply them. Rather than always/never, you have the ability to apply rules "sometimes/as needed." It allows for fuzzy logic, rather than hard conditions.

i have an iphone4 that i use for work and a coworker sent out over 40,000 emails which has now overloaded my email to where i cannot send or recieve emails can i set up rules for his emails to go straight to junk? and how my email address is linked to iphone4s and ipad as well.
ps i did set up the rules on my desktop but it didnt seem to work or flow over to the iphone or ipad or maybe i just need to delete the emails? however theres literally 30,000 of them who do i do that quickly? please

The Mail app on the iPhone doesn't support filters. You'd need to do that on the server side (not desktop). There is just no quick way to delete 30,000 emails. At this point, I would remove the email account from your phone, delete the offending emails from your account, then add the account back to the iPhone.
I would also report the co-worker to your IT department (if they haven't already noticed) for sending that many emails. I'm surprised that it didn't cause issues.
