    Hi URT301,
Please see this document: PDF Ownership when Reader X is Installed with Acrobat. You'll find several solutions to this problem in the FAQ section.
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,

You have to sync your music to your iPad, this can be done from a WiFi connection to your iCloud account for those purchased from the iTunes store.  Non-iTunes music has to be synced using iTunes Match, a fee is charged for that premium service.

With the commenting tools. But they will only be available if the author of the PDF enabled that option in Acrobat.

  • How do I transfer PDF files from PC to IPAD using Itunes 12.1.2.  Previous versions let me drag file in Itunes to Ipad and files appeared under Ibook but can't get it to work in latest 12.1.2 version.

How do I transfer PDF files from PC (Windows 7) to IPAD using Itunes 12.1.2.  I would like to do files manually rather then auto synch.  Previous versions let me drag file in Itunes to Ipad and files appeared under Ibook and then I could move them to an appropriate collection title.  The interface appears to have changed in the latest ITunes version and I am not sure what the proper procedure is.

King_Penguin - Thanks it worked perfectly.  I had my pdf files copied into ITunes on my PC but when I clicked on a pdf file to copy it I thought the sidebar would appear with my IPAD name and then I would drag it over.  I didn't realize that I needed to click-and start dragging it towards the left-hand side for the sidebar to appear.  It worked like a charm - THANKYOU!!!

  • Pdf files or corrupted on ipad 1 and not on ipad 2

    Hello,
I have an ipad 1 and ipad 2. Both with the same iOS and the same apps.
Since recently when I upload pdf files to the devices the ipad one always doesn't open them correctly (goodreader, iBooks and Adobe)
The Ipad has no problem with opening the files.
Any idea what this could be?
Not sure if related same thing for movie files no problem ipad 2, incorrect for ipad 1 is this something different?
    Thanks in advance for response,
    Wouter

Can't answer your question but as an interim measure, if you are desperate, put your photos on to your computer (if you use one!) and then sync them to the iPad.

  • How to fix downloads titles back to dates, not alphabetical.

Starting August 25, Wait Wait podcast downloads started being listed alphabetically not by date, i.e., actor, actress, chef. Cannot figure out how to fix, have spent time trying. Plus, as others have said, some have just disappeared. I have a bunch saved but despair that they may also disappear. Anyone know how to change back?

Replace the battery.  If that does not work, then system board is toasted...

  • How to Edit a PDF File in Adobe Reader

I used to create PDF files from the blog [link removed] But i would like to delete the links in the sidebar and other un wanted content from the PDF file but i cant do it in Adobe Reader. How can i delete it. Is there any option.
Do i have to install any seperate software to edit pdf files.

Acrobat can do very limited editing, but it is best to avoid this by not making a PDF of stuff you don't want.
For example, use an HTML editor first.

  • How do I transfer PDF files from Adobe to my iPad?

I need to transfer manuels to my Apple iPad from Adobe _ Reader but it is blocked by a password apparently set by Adobe.

You'll need to explain your problem in more detail. Do you see a password required when you view it in Reader/Acrobat on Macintosh or Windows?
Reader for iOS doesn't support password-protected PDF files.

  • How to set default pdf folder for Adobe 8.1.4

Every time I want to open or save a file in Adobe I have to navigate through the computer to the folder I use for pdf files. Can I set a default folder somehow so Adobe always looks there first?

    No.

  • How do I save PDF documents in Adobe Reader on my iPad?

I add files to my Adobe Reader on my iPad from Acrobat.com. They show up as recent and they disappear after a while.  Contrary to what I was told on this site earlier (items don't disappear in recents unless it is to full), my documents/files do disappear.  I was working on a document earlier and now 3 hours later ii's gone. I don't always have access to wireless enternet when I need to open the documents.  Also, when I download (or what ever it's called when you open them up on an iPad), the notes and highlights that I did on the document have disappeared.

I apologize for misunderstanding your comment. It's easy to misunderstand what we read here and often I find that if I just ask more questions people are frustrated so I erred on the side of providing information rather than witholding it and asking more questions. If you are frustrated I apologize, but being abusive doesn't help any of us =). Everyone in these forums who is trying to help is a volunteer. I happen to be paid by Adobe to build the Reader but I volunteer in the forums during my lunch hour or extending my day to answer questions. I'm doing my best.
My understanding of our cache is limited, but it looks to me like our current Acrobat.com cache is 100 megabytes. We will start pushing files out of the cache from the least recently used forward until the cache size is less than 100MB. We don't currently have a way to explicitly mark Acrobat.com files to be saved locally. One way to achieve this would be to open the file from Adobe Reader into another app and then open it again in Adobe Reader which will place it in your Documents. Alternatively, you can use iTunes to add the files to your Documents from your Desktop after downloading them from Acrobat.com. I recognize that this is a little strange and will result in 2 copies of the document (one in the Acrobat.com cache and one in Documents) but I wanted to provide the option. I've emailed another engineer to verify my understanding of the cache and to see if she can provide a better workaround.
