How do I arrange photos sinced from my computer

Up to a few months ago when I sinced photos from my computer they were arranged in albums and within each album the photos were arranged in a continuous fashion. Since I downloaded the latest operating system the photos are arranged in groups by date and are continuous between albums. Ie the album separation has disappeared

Do you not have Photos / Albums buttons on the bottom of Photos app - that should let you switch into album view

  • How to transfer one photo album from my computer to my ipad

A while ago, I tried to sync my computer and iPad, and all the 1200 photos on my computer got synced over to my iPad as teeny weeny photos with blurred images, and the photos on my computer which were fine before, also changed to teeny weeny images.  I was not happy.  After weeks of recreating the photos on my computer, I decided to try again, and the same thing happened, but this time I stopped the sync before it could change too many photos on my computer.  So how can I move photos one album at a time, and how do I stop this process changing all the photos to being unviewable?  Thanks

No, Target Mode will not work for you. At least, it will not work well.
I had misunderstood your problem. You had your laptop on vacation and you used it to temporarily store your vacation pictures as you were taking them. Correct?
Since everything is all in one album, the solution is actually quite simple. From inside iPhoto, open the album on the laptop and do a CMD-A to "Select All." Drag them to your Sandisk.
Go to the desktop computer and do a "File > Import to Library" to import the photos into the library. They'll all be in "Last Roll." Manually create the album and drag them all into the library.
WARNING - If you've modified the photos on the laptop, you might wish to "Revert to Original" before you do all of the above. Otherwise, the modified versions will be considered as "originals" on the desktop computer.

  • How do i upload photo's from my computer to my itunes?

I have an iPod Nano (the type with a video camera)
    Software Version: 1.0.2
    Capacity: 14.88
My friend has the same iPod and she has uploaded photos into a photo album on her iPod, but she can't remember how she did it!
I want to do the same, but i am unsure how!
    Please help.

    I agree with planb77.
    Try this:
-make a new folder on your desktop called sync to ipod.
-copy your photos into that folder
In iTunes when your iPod is connected click on it under devices on the left.
    This opens the summary
-click the photo tab at the top
-make sure there is a check next to sync photos
-in the drop down section select choose folder, this opens a new window
-navigate to your desktop and click on your sync to ipod folder
-click choose folder or ok on the bottom right
-click apply then sync on the bottom right.
That will get them on the iPod.
Now when you want to add or remove photos from your ipod, just change the contents of the folder on your desktop and sync through the photos tab again.
    Hope this helps.

and on a second problem.  I need to know for sure that my contacts are backed up on my computer

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.

How do I arrange photos in ATV2 slideshow?

Thanks, that is what I am doing and it works.  But when the folder contents are displayed for Slideshow, the photos are not in the order that I want.  I can't figure out what controls the order in Slideshow because it is different from the order in the original folder and doesn't correlate with any of the columns (eg, Name, Date Created, etc). It seems like there is a random element in the transmission from iTunes to Apple TV, but that doesn't make sense.

I have no clue that you mean by it only shows photos from the camera icon. It has to show the photos in the camera roll of the photos app since those are the only photos that you can import via the USB cable.
There are other ways of transferring photos to a computer, but they involve using third party apps. There are WiFi transfer apps that will do this. DropBox will also let you upload photos to a public folder and then download them to a computer.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

If you mean from photo stream, open your My Photo Stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to delete, tap Delete.  This deletes them from photo stream and from any devices syncing with your photo stream.
If you want to delete them all, you can go to icloud.com, sign into your iCloud account, click on your name at the top, click on Advanced, then tap Reset Photo Stream.

How do I load photo's from my Mac running OS X 10.4 to my IPad 3?

Get an SD card, an SD card reader for your mac, and get the SD card reader adapter (camera connection kit) for the iPad. You can then upload your photos from the Mac to the SD card using the card reader. Then plug in the SD card reader adapter for the iPad and stick your SD card into it. You can then upload the photos to your iPad.
You want a camera connection kit (for ipad); you can get it on the apple store.

Hello,  How do i move photo's from my i4 to icloud i have 791 on the phone and need to free uo space for version 7 update?  Thanks

You can't store photos in icloud, except as part of an ios backup.  You must sync photos to a computer for archiving, then you can delete the photos from the device.

  • How to transfer the photo captions from Photoshop Elements 12 organizer to Adobe Revel albums ?

How to transfer the photo captions from Photoshop Elements 12 organizer to Adobe Revel albums ?

Thks for the contribution. However, it seems I cannot solve my problem with the kindly proposed solution.
    Let me rephrase my problem:
I off-line prepare, organize photos and also add manually individual photo captions with PE12 Organizer. In the properties panel, I can check that the photo properties (including captions) are properly associated with the photo.
However when I upload on Revel -directly with PE12 Organizer (selecting Share/Private Web Album)- these individual (accordingly captioned) photos or albums, I cannot find the photo captions (i.e. the photo caption did not directly show up with the photo in Revel). This obliges me to a double work by copying  and pasting each photo caption.
Is there any plan to get rid of that ?
Let me add that I am using the French version of PE12
