How do I arrange tracks in a proper order after a purchase?

I recently purchased a recording of a complete opera on itunes, and the tracks show up on the purchased list in completely the wrong order. There are 43 tracks and it's virtually impossible to be absolutely certain what the correct order is for many of them, and in any case it is extremely laborious to resort them manually. Is there some way around this problem?

Which tab are you sorted on in the library window? If you're sorting on, say, track name, instead of something else, the tracks would display in alpha order.

  • IPhoto 9 v. 8.1.2 How do I arrange my pictures in chronological order?

    iPhoto 9 v. 8.1.2
    OS X 10.8.5
    Hi
In any iPhoto window, my pictures don't layout in chronological order. I would like them to. I need to look at my pictures and see them in the sequence in which I took them. In the Mac Finder, there are many choices given for how to arrange files and folders. The one I would like to have for iPhoto is "Date Added".
How do I arrange my pictures in chronological order?
    Thanks

    Terence,
OK. I see that now. Thanks.
I looked up DSCF. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on just what the acronym means.
Digital Still Camera Fujifilm. I'll take this since my camera's a Fuji.
Digital Storage Compact Flash (digital camera)
Choosing "sort by title" seems to work to layout the pictures chronologically (Attachment 1.). The title appears to be the DSCF followed by a number and the number sequence represents the sequence the pictures were taken in. This is also my recollection of what sequence the pictures were taken in.
What I don't understand is "sort by date" (Attachment 2.) "Sort by date" throws all that DSCF sorted by title out of sequence. I can't figure out what the pattern it is that's created here. Where is Iphoto picking up it's dating data, and why are the DSCF numbers out of alignment?
    Attachment 1: Sort by title
    Attachment 2: Sort By Date
    Thanks for your input,
    Rafael

How do you arrange the albums in chronological order in iPhoto ? Madde 47

What do you mean your own albums that are in alphabetically order?
    How did you do that?
I didn't try to make that happen, but no matter how I re-arranged albums using MartyLightroom's suggestion (below now), all of the iPhoto synchronized albums appear only in alphabetical order.

  • How do I arrange my photos in the order that I want on my Ipad?

How do I arrange my photos in the order that I want on my Ipad?

Sadly, it's not possible within the iPad itself. You have to arrange the photos in iPhoto albums -- which of course assumes you're syncing it to a Mac and not a PC -- then sync to see any changes.
And worst of all, images that are only in the iPad's own "Camera Roll" album can't be rearranged at all. If you'd like to see such functionality in future versions of iOS, you should leave feedback for them at:

  • Pretty simple question ... how do I arrange songs in a particular order?

I've done this before, but somehow it's not working.
Have a playlist with a dozen or so songs I imported off a CD. The songs didn't show up in the playlist in the order they are on the CD. Simply want to arrange them in the same order.
Tried to drag them, but that doesn't work. How can I arrange the songs in a particular order?

You can change the track numbers.
Or if the songs are in a playlist, click the very first column header and turn off Shuffle for that playlist then you can drag the songs up/down as you want.

  • How to change the pricing rate of Sales Order after delivery is created?

Is it possible to update(change) the pricing rate which belong to a specific condition type, of the "Sales Orders"  after corresponding delivery is created ?
number of the Sales Order to be changed is huge. How can I handle this situation ?
    immediate replies would be rewarded

Repricing is only possible if your pricing record has a valid from date that is equal to or before the pricing date on the order. Otherwise, your pricing rate change will be applicable only from the begin date of that record.
Assuming that it is allowed by config, you can go to VA02, go to conditions, and then there is small button at the bottom, that says 'Update'. By pressing that, your system will automatically reprice the sales order, provided, as I said, all pre-conditions are met. Once you know that you can do this, then you can adopt any of the technical solutions that Rich had suggested above to do the mass changes.

  • How to put tracks in order after iTMS purchase

I downloaded an album with 14 tracks, but there was an error on one of them so it bypassed and keep going. I then had it try that track again and this time it worked. But, it was the 9th track of 14, now I can't seem to find a way to move it into it's correct position. So that track 9 plays last instead of where it should be. Info is correct with the info file that it's 9 of 14, but it won't move. Any hints?

In the "main music library" the first button on the left when you open iTunes, that music library. Which then opens everything in iTunes no matter what it's listed under. Whether you view by artist or album that downloaded album will pop into view. Then go over and look at the track#. It should show as 1-10, 1-15 or how many tracks are in that album. Right?
What I'm saying is that in all the albums that I purchased from iTMS when there was an error or a problem in the download. There is even an error message that comes up. iTunes will try to download, but a continued error will automatically make the system bypass that track and go to the next. Once the download is complete you have to go back to the track with the error and try it again. Most times it will work the 2nd time around.
However, there is a fault or something within iTunes or iTMS that then places that track at the bottom of the album list. No matter if you view by artist or album. In this one specific case track #9 now is at the bottom under track #14. (Same issue on other downloads.) There has to be a way to get this track back into it's correct position.
With most music it isn't a problem, but with classical music it is! Especially when the next track is simply a continuation of the previous track.
Now do you understand? It might just be my iTunes, but I'm getting e-mail from other people that they have the same problem.
    Any ideas now?

  • How do I arrange songs in a particular order without modifying the tag info

    Hi.
I'm trying to arrange songs in a playlist to play in a certain order without having to permanently modify the tag information like track number. Can this be done?
    Thanks!

This can be done by sorting on the leftmost column (with the numbers).
Then you can drag them at any position you want.
Shuffling for that playlist has to be off.
    Hope this helps.

  • How Do I Save Tracks in A Particular Order In My Playlists?

I want to save music from my Library to  my Playlist in my order and not by itunes check boxes or default. For some reason I cannot move them around in my Playlist to play in a particular order say for instance a Wedding or Funeral. itunes only has default orders that I can see. I can't seem to move particular tracks up or down and save in that order.  Is this possible?

  • How do I get tracks in the right order?

I've syncd my albums onto my Nano, but on one of them (a musical) the tracks are in the wrong order. I don't want the finale in the middle, etc. I've numbered the tracks, and in Itunes they appear in the right order, but on the Ipod they're mixed up. What should I do to get them into the right order?

    Hello joy R,
    Barkingmad in Colorado here.
    1. plug in nano
    2. select the play list of the work you mentioned (if still in the music main list make a play list just for this work).
    3. in the pull down menu View select View options
    4. check mark the box Track number
    5. go back to the play list for the work and click on the heading called " Track # " and it should put the list in order. If it is reversed click on the heading again; note the little triangle changes direction. Some times this is a bit tricky to make work. For the sound track to The Thomas Crown Affair it would not keep the songs in order in my shuffle but seems to work right in nano.
    Good luck.

  • ITunes randomly rearranged my library, how can I get everything back in proper order?

Randomly, iTunes decided to rearrange my whole library. If I sort my library by artists, I have artists mixed together and completely out of order. C's, K's, and R's mixed with A's and so on. It is consistent throughout the library.
Initially the problem was that iTunes created duplicates of titles, album covers, and artists overtop of other songs so I needed to play all of the songs in the Library to get the original and correct information back. But now, everything is still sitting out of order and will not change back regardless of what I've tried.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, as it's a HUGE pain trying to find artists and songs when everything is random and out of order.

Click ANY heading at the top of the track list. It will sort (up or down) by that category

  • HOW DO I KEEP AN ARRAYLIST IN RANDOM ORDER AFTER EXITING THE SUB ROUTINE CONTAINING IT

PLEASE HELP!I am trying to go from VB4 which I loved to VB2010 which I find somewhat more challenging. I’ve searched the web for help and have adapted the following to my project. This code does
rotate randomly through every card in the deck and displays unique cards until all have been drawn. BUT I want to draw one card
only from the first “hat” of Boy’s names; then draw the second card from the second “hat” of Girl’s names and repeat this process until all cards in both decks have been drawn. How do I get the TextBox (OR any
MsgBox) to display JUST ONE unique random card at a time so I can exit that deck and go to the next deck?
On my form, I have two TextBoxes (to display the names (as drawn), two buttons (to re-load each deck once exhausted) and one command (&End)control (to end the process). I created two ArraysLists
(to hold the Boys names and Girls names separately) and two ArrayLists to hold the cards for the random decks when created in code.
    I can
NOT get this code to draw random UNIQUE names once I exit the deck. I have tried to ReDim the deck; randomly pull a card from the second (temp) deck, etc
    NOTHING seems to work.
WHY does my deck lose randomness once I exit it?
How can I fix it? I don’t understand this. Below is the code for the "hat" with the 10 girl's names.
Also, when I don't loop through all the cards, I usually get "An Out of Index exception was not handled" error. Hope someone can help me with this problem. It seems like this should
be easy BUT I'm baffled. Thank you for any help.
    Imports System.Collections.Generic
    Public Class Form1
    Dim Count As Integer
    Dim Rcard As New ArrayList
    Dim Dcard As New ArrayList
    Dim NewRDeck As New ArrayList
    Dim NewDDeck As New ArrayList
    Dim temp_Rnum As Integer
    Dim temp_Dnum As Integer
    Dim MyRand As New Random()
Public Sub Rcards_Click(sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Rcards.Click
    While Rcard.Count > 0
    Dim temp_Rnum As Integer = Int(MyRand.Next(Rcard.Count))
    NewRDeck(temp_Rnum) = Rcard(temp_Rnum)
Rem Check that the ArrayLists work correctly and display properly
MsgBox(Rcard(temp_Rnum), , "New random card selected is: ")
    Console.WriteLine(Rcard(temp_Rnum))
    Rcard.Text = (Rcard(temp_Rnum))
REM Now remove the Rcard with the random number generated so it can't be drawn again
    Rcard.RemoveAt(temp_Rnum)
    End While
REM When all 10 cards have been picked, alert player to re-load deck if desired.
MsgBox("No new cards left in deck; please Re-Load the cards. Thank you.")
    EndSub
    End Class

    Hi Acamar,
Thank you for such a fast response. Sorry if my text wasn't clear. I'm really struggling with creating unique random elements in Collections in VB2010 and feel I understand ArrayLists better than some of the other Collection types. The code works perfectly
and generates unique random cards until the original deck is exhausted. Then it prompts the user to re-load the original deck so it can be reused if needed. But I need to draw one card only and exit the deck. Then when I click on the TextBox again, I want
that deck to be in the same random order - just minus any cards I have already drawn and thrown away.  Thanks again for your help.
Here's the rest of the code for just the girl's "hats" of names, if it helps:
    Private Sub btnShuffleRCards_Click(sender
    As System.Object, e
    As System.EventArgs)
    Handles btnShuffleRCards.Click
    Dim j As
    Integer
    For j = 1 To 10
    NewRDeck.Add(j)
    Next j
    Randomize()
REM Create original Deck with names for the girls.
    Rcard.Add("1 HELEN”)
    Rcard.Add("2 OLIVIA")
    Rcard.Add("3 <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">ALICE</st1:place></st1:city>")
    Rcard.Add("4 VALERIE")
    Rcard.Add("5 DONNA")
    Rcard.Add("6 ZELDA")
    Rcard.Add("7 MARGARIE")
    Rcard.Add("8 <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">NANCY</st1:place></st1:city>")
    Rcard.Add("9 WANDA")
    Rcard.Add("10 IRENE")
    End Sub

  • How can I arrange a sequence of folders on my iPad?

I have about 30 folders given an object title, eg Widgets 1ft-4ft, Dingbats 1ft-4ft, and so on correctly ordered in iPhoto.  I want the folders to appear in a sequential order by object name and sizes, but when I sync it throws some of the folders out of sequence.  Any help would be gratefully received, thank you

Try to arrange them manually afterwards: afaik, it is impossible to force an order when syncing:

  • How can I have several arrange tracks for one instrument mute independently

hi... if i create several arrange tracks with the 'New with same channel strip/instrument' command i cant mute them in the arrange window independently it seems ? For example i want 10 arrange tracks all playing the same Battery Kit/instance but be able to mute them independently through automation for example. For the moment when i mute one of the tracks the whole instrument gets muted.
i'm a bit confused since i'm new to logic from cubase ... can i not just use 'midi tracks and parts' like in cubase ?

My first though was to suggest that you check Preferences>Audio>General, and make sure "Track Mute/Solo" is set to "CPU Saving (Slow response). This will allow you to mute and solo each track copy individually.
However, this will not help you in this situation, because the mute button will be muting the actual channel strip, like a mixer, so you will always be muting the whole thing.
It's easiest to simply make cuts right on the MIDI regions, and mute the regions themselves, in the spots of the song you want them muted. Either that, or mute the MIDI on/off events themselves, within the Piano Roll window.
