How do I associate playlist track info with a "blank" CD?

iTunes 6 "quit unexpectedly" when it had just finished burning a 25-track CD, but before it had time to associate the track listing info in my playlist with the actual disc.
So now I have a "blank" Audio CD on my desktop with just Track 1 / Track 2 etc. As I still have the playlist, how do I "associate" the track info in the playlist with the CD itself? I don't want to manually copy and paste Artist / Title / Album 25 times over, so how can I do this?
This is urgent as I want to delete the tracks in my iTunes Library now I have the CD.
iMac G5 17" 1.5Gb RAM   Mac OS X (10.4.7)  

You will either have to manually edit all the info for the 'blank' CD, or (perhaps easier) you could just delete it an burn a new CD.

    You can do this by assigning the role functionality to the application user. For example
    create the table to enter user name.
    create table to enter group name.
    create table to assign user to group.
    assign role to group.
    assign functionality for the user by coding.

    I don’t hear sound from a Real Instrument
    Some conditions may cause you not to hear the sound when you sing into a microphone or play a musical instrument connected to a Real Instrument track.
    If you don't hear sound from a Real Instrument, try the following:
    Make sure your microphone or instrument is connected to your computer, is turned on, and is working.
    Make sure the correct Real Instrument track is selected.
    Make sure that the track is not muted, and that no other tracks are soloed.
    Open the Track Info pane and check that the correct input channel and input format are selected for the instrument. Make sure that input monitoring is turned on for the track.
    Make sure the volume slider for the track is not all the way to the left.
    Make sure the output volume for your computer’s speaker, or the external speakers you are using, is set high enough to hear the sound from the instrument.

  • How do I associate a clock (source) with a (or multiple) counter channels

    We are newbies using a 6602 with the SCB-68 interface.
    We are reading 8 different TTL pulse trains. We've determined that we need buffered periodic event counting (BPEC) and that we need a common clock (source).
    We've used the measurement and automation software to confirm that we can see our signal coming into the card. However, we cannot seem to perform functions requiring a clock (e.g. BPEC).
    Question: How do we associate an 80 MHz clock to the source for our counter channels? The the card has clocks, yet our error messages indicate that an external clock had to be used for our task. We may be stuck in the meaning of "external".  Though a clock is in the card, is it considered external to my counter channel? Do I connect it via jumpers in the SCB-68 or are there ways to associate it via commands?

  • How to keep a playlist in sync with iPhone over iCloud

    I love being able to store all my music in the cloud with iCloud. The only problem is that I want to use iCloud to keep a selected playlist in sync with my iPhone because I only want about 500 of my 2000 songs stored on my iPhone. It is easy to do this if I use WiFi sync but I would like to be able to access my other songs when I am on Wifi through iCloud because really, thats what I'm paying for with iCloud. Has anyone found a work around to this issue?

    With iTunes Match your music is simultaneously downloaded to your phone when you play it.  As soon as you play a song not on your playlist, it will be downloaded too.  There isn't a way at the present time to keep only certain songs on the phone, then only stream the rest.  Perhaps the ability to do this will be included in a future update.  If you would like to see this change you can let Apple know here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html.

  • How to realise a point track application with user-defined original point?

       I am developing a simple point track application, it is not the same as the traditional mouse cursor tracking problem and i get really confused. 
       there are two pictures to describe my application：
       the first one descirbes the default state of my application：
       1.red circle is the point that user can move;
       2.white cross is the original point;
       3.blue circle is the range of red circle motion
       the second one describes the track process of my application：
       1.user can move the red circle with a click of mouse button in any place within blue circle;
       2.application should show coordinates of red circle relative to white circle in real time;
       3.once user release the red circle(or the button of mouse), the application should return to its default state.
       I realy do not know how to realise the key parts of this application, like showing a circle in panel and connecting the points within it to the labview code? can anybody give me some suggestions? thanks a lot

    Attached is a very rough implementation of what you're looking for.  Add a "draw (white) line" after the "draw circle" function to make the crosshairs persist when the circle is near the center. Prob want to delete the crosshairs from the blue circle picture (currently contained in a constant) to avoid drawing them twice and them not quite lining up.  All of the constants are empirically determined and need slight adjustments (e.g. centering of the red circle when mouse is up, etc.).  They will need further adjustment if you resize the blue circle picture. 
    Not sure what you mean by connecting the points within the LV code.  I suspect you're using the eyeball to drive an XY stage or such and need to use the red circle coordinates to moderate the travel speed?

    But every time I move the CC7 rate, the track volume (left hand side, the big slide pan) move as CC7.
    I used to use sonar, it doesn't have that problem

    as far as I know, CC7 is reserved for Volume, and as you used it for another function, you did something extraordinary (even with sonar ) Look what tweakheadz says: http://www.tweakheadz.com/midi_controllers.htm *7 Volume (MSB) If you re-route to Controller 7, your software mixer will mess up*
    You have several solutions:
    1st: Select the MIDI regions in question, go to the event list and filter it by searching for controller No. 7. Now you can easily select them all together and change them (all together) to another value that Logic likes more (and that fits MIDI standards better...)
    2nd: Now comes the really advanced way: Build an environment including a transformer for each and every software instrument, cableing the transformer to the software instruments channelstrip input. Now, in the arrange, you have to re-assign the MIDI tracks to the transformer in the environment. It's more complicated than playing chess against Kasparow, but it will open you unknown fields of possibilities (I've tested it and it works for me, but i really don't need this solution for 99,9% of my music). It's a MIDI wasteland for people who as kids loved to play with do-it-yourself electronic kits and weld their cables themselfes... In short: You have to know some thing about signal flow and how MIDI works. Perhaps it is the philosophers stone for you? Who knows.
    Anyway, I'd recommend solution No. 1 because it is easy, quick and it works.

    Maybe that is the reason why I can't  synchronize calender and contacts between Outlook and iPhone.

    On your MacBook Air's iTunes, use the menu to go to Store > Authorize This Computer
    Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
    That should do it!

  • How do I restore CD tracks lost with the iTunes 11 upgrade?

    I had over 500 songs loaded from CD's that iTunes 11 cannot locate on my MacPro library. 
    Example:  Beach Boys "Sounds of Summer" album:
    1.  All the tracks from this CD have an exclamation point in front of the song title
    2.  When I click on the track I get the following message " The song “California Girls” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
    3.  I click on Yes to locate the file
    4.  I am able to find the album folder in the library but the folder is now empty
    Oddly enough I can play the music on my iPad and iPhone.  Am interested if anyone else has experienced this problem and hopefully a way to restore this music without having to reload all these CD's! 

    You should be able to unlock it on a computer other than the one that it is normally synced to, though the content will be wiped and I think that you need to put it into DFU mode first e.g. post https://discussions.apple.com/message/15385719#15385719 in thread https://discussions.apple.com/message/15385641#15385641

    An iPod shuffle is not associated with an Apple ID in any way, so I don't understand what it is you're asking or being told. It's also very difficult to try and decode your post what with the total lack of punctuation. Please post back and explain in more detail - with punctuation, please - what it is you're having problems with. If you're having problems purchasing from the iTunes Store, as it seems from what I can glean from your post, that has nothing to do with your iPod.

  • How can I associate unique information/ variables with different instances of attachMovie when creat

    I'm creating an interactive animation of an experiment, whereby the user has to detect if there is an oil well lying beneath the surface by selecting and drilling a series of coordination points on a map.
    I've done the first stage by setting up a background image containing a grid of 20 x 20 coordinate points, eg columns 1 - 20 and rows A - T. Over the top of this, I've created a dynamic array of clickable objects (open circles) and the centre of each one is  placed over a coordinate point, so when you mouseover a coordinate point, eg C3,  an open circle becomes visible and when you rollout, it becomes invisible again.
    However, I'm stuck on the next stage. I need to be able to assign unique variables to one or more clickable objects (open circles). Is it possible to do that? For example:
    a)give grid point coordinates to each object (open circle), so for example if someone rolls over the C3 coordinate, the open circle (object) associated with that coordinate, a message will display: "Click on the grid point to drill at C3"
    b)assign a variable to one or more objects, so that when an open circle is clicked, the animation associated with that coordination point will be triggered. There will be different animations, depending upon which object (point is clicked)
    There are other variables that will need to be setup, but if I know how to assign variables to one or more objects, I can probably figure out the rest.

    To accomplish this your device need to have an implementation of the Content Handler API (JSR 211)

    If the Mac is brand new you will need to authorize it, as well as sign into the store. In iTunes pull down Store > Authorize and enter your iTunes Store account AppleID credentials.

  • How to pop-up Outlook Email window with To: blank?

    I currently have a page which shows multiple rows with checkboxes. I have an After Submit process which loops through the rows and stores some values of the checked rows into a variable to be used as the body of an email. I then call apex_mail.send() to send the email.
    Instead of prepopulating a TO: address within the process and have it send automatically, I would like to have Outlook pop-up the email window with the body prepopulated as mentioned above but with the TO: address box null so that the user can select the address from Outlook's Address Book.
    Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

    1: Yup.. It would look something like this:

    2: If you go this route, there are a few things you need to remember:
    The mailto tag is client side. So you would have to generate the javascript on the server and print it out on the client.
    If your users do not have Outlook, or another mail client, this will do nothing.
    If you have a really long message body it will not work.
    If you have weird characters you will need to encode these.
    So, if you still think that the mailto is what you need then here is some javascript that will auto open it for you:
