I want to assume my contract from my mother's family plan, to start paying for the contract on my own. How do I remove myself from her plan, then open my own while still keeping my phone number?

Hi, I'm just wondering which number I would need to call to delete a line from my plan. I had a family plan with a total of four lines on it. I am the account holder, and two of the lines were removed onto their own plan today. That leaves me and my brother as the only two lines on the family plan. Cancelling a line has to be done in person or on the phone with customer service. If you call the 800-922-0204 number, choose option 4 and then say "Agent" when prompted. You should be connected to a live person in a couple of minutes.
Or you can visit a Verizon store.... they will, of course, try to talk you out of it, but just be firm. You will likely have to change your plan from a shared to an individual plan, since you will be the only line left.

I think you will find that you have to have a debit/credit card stored on yur account regardless of whether your have iTunes Credit or want to purchase a free App. I don't know why, I assume its for ID verification or is part of the terms and conditions. I occasionally have to re-verify my credit card info even when just trying to run Update on one of my Apps or like I said downloading a free App.

You re-sync them by setting up your iCloud account under Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and turning on the 'contact sync', assuming that's what you were syncing them with before. If you were not syncing them with iCloud (syncing is NOT the same as backing up), then you will have to re-sync them from whatever you were syncing them with.

All you have to do is enable iCloud on your phone and turn notes on. They should automatically appear on your phone.

That is very strange... I wonder if it has something to do with the firmware or some sort of error. I haven't ran into this but at the shop I work at I've ran into several firmware errors on iPhone 4 all the way through the 5s. Maybe its something as simple as putting a different part of the code into iTunes... I know you can something of this extent. I would look up error 1669, I know you have tried a number of things but look it up on the forum and see what fixes are available so that you may be able to restore it properly without all this garbage you are running into. Just a thought for you.

OS X Lion. 10.7. Your profile says your running 10.6.8, which is Snow Leopard. You need 10.7 to use iCloud with your Mac.

Then tap the contact, and add it to your contact list. You can then delete the original. Is there an easier way???

I figured it out! Trying to delete this now....

Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID. If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud
