Right Windows can Not read Mac formatted drives.
If you want to use that drive on both systems you will need to use some other format then Mac Extended (Journaled). Something like Fat32 or exFAT. Or since it is already partitioned just use the Windows partition on Windows.
Of couse you can try using one of those add-on programs that allows Windows to read Mac drives.

2) Perform a virus scanning with an antivirus e.g. Microsoft Security Essentials
3) Check you computer for performance issues and resolve them (go to Start => type 'Performance Information and Tools' hit Enter, in a new window on the left side click 'Advanced tools' and review the performance issues enlisted (if any).

Plug your iPad into your computer. THere may be a delay while it installs drivers but if you can see your iPad in windows explorer, use that to get to your photos.
Click on your iPad and you should see a DCIM folder. Click thorugh that to find your photos.
Windows explorer will see your iPad as nothing more than a digital camera, and that's the part you're trying to access.

I bought HP Pavilion dv6 7007tx noteboook two days back and installed Windows 7 Professional.
I've noticed that while booting up, its HP start up logo does not appear, it staright away loads with Windows 7.
How can i restore its original HP logo before Windows 7 starts up.

Thanks for your prompt response. I have tried to solve the matter by following the steps given in the first link but i was unable to find BOOT SECTION and also BOOT SECTION DIAGNOSTIC SCREEN. All i could find in the BIOS setup were MAIN, SECURITY, DIAGNOSTIC, SYSTEM, CONFIGURATION & EXIT Menues, therefore the matter is still unsolved. Will i need to reinstall Windows 7 again to fix this?
Secondly, there is another issue with my newly bought machine HP Pavilion dv6 7007tx is that, my sound often will not work particularily for multimedia or videos when i am using it on battery or even if it is booted on battery. It works perfectly (so far) when i am powering it with adaptor. While using on battery, the windows normal sound would work fine but multimedia songs or videos sometimes work and most of the time do not work. i've tried to fix this while gone through all possible options. Even the F11 mute botton does'nt lit indicaing that sound for multimedia will not work now.
Please advise to overcome both the issues.
