How do I avoid certificates blocking my brokerage/banking website reports?

I am unable to open tax statements in my Merrill Lynch/Bank of America brokerage account, but I am able to open the website and other statements in it. The green bar that includes the bank/brogerage name has a lock on it and when I open the bar it tells me that there is a Verisign Certificate that protects my privacy. That may be true, but it also is stopping me from opening and printing the tax statements in order to complete my tax returns. This is a very recent problem. I have owned the MacBook Air for over 2 years and until recently had never experienced this problem.
Any advice out there in Apple Support Land that does not require a software technician to apply?

How Telemarketers can avoid call blocks

My friend got a voicemail from a number which she had already blocked. It was a scammy telemarketer and she asked me to figure out how they did it. I had her block me and then found out that sure enough I could sent her a voicemail from my blocked number. I initiated a chat session with support to find out what could be done to block this and was told that she should call the "Unlawful Call Center". She did and for telemarketing calls she was given the option to put her number on the national do not call list! For "harassment" calls she was told to file a POLICE REPORT and call back with the report number. Needless to say she doesn't want to file a police report for every scumbag telemarketer that figures out how to send voicemails to customers who have blocked their numbers. And it's easy enough to do that I expect they all will start doing it sooner or later. Any suggestions?

You (she) might take a look at a FREE service called NOMOROBO (http://www.nomorobo.com/). It does require that the user's phone has a feature called Simultaneous Ring, which Verizon's Digital Voice does have. What happens is that when your phone rings, it rings at your house and at their datacenter at the same time, they take a quick look at where the call is coming from, and if the number is in their database as a robocaller, they just hang up, so the call is immediately disconnected. So your phone rings once, nothing more, and I don't see any way they could get access to voicemail with it working that way (but I don't use voicemail so I can't say this for sure).
I have been using NOMOROBO almost since it started, I love it. I still have the one ring, and the call still shows up on caller id on my phone, My Verizon, and the TV, but it is amazing how many calls it will intercept, with no enless ringing. As I said, it is a free service, very easy to sign up for, and if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you, it is easy to turn off.

How can I avoid automatic build of an User Code Block at SystemBuild

Hi,
I've created a simulation with a User Code Block at SystemBuild. I want the building process to be performed manually, so I changed the buildProcess tag in xml file which is generated by SystemBuild to "Manual". Unfortunately it doesn't work. When I try to execute the simulation, the xml file is overwriten, the buildProcess tag is set to "Automatic" and the software tries to build the library again. How can I avoid automatic build of an User Code Block at SystemBuild?

The xml file generated when a UserCodeBlock is linked usually contains the following at the top of the file:

How does one avoid co-channel interference on dot11a solutions in EMEA ?

When deploying wireless access points on dot11b/g, co-channel interference can be minimized by appropriate manual choice of channel numbers across the physical site.
In the US, the same methodology applies for dot11a solutions, where manual frequency selection for an AP is an option.
However, Here in EMEA, with compulsory DFS for dot11a, there appears to be no manual control at all on channel selection.
The default behaviour as I understand it - is for an AP to pick a random channel during interface initialization, and then if no radar detected, continue to use that channel.
(This has hit us on one solution, where four APs in neighbouring rooms at a client site selected the same channel on startup - causing significant co-channel interference!)
So how does one avoid co-channel interference on dot11a solutions in EMEA ?
Do wireless LAN controllers (with thin APs) have an option to preselect dot11a channels before the DFS listen check ? (Rather than just a random choice)
The IDEAL solution, would be for Cisco to add the following option to its IOS syntax :-
Interface dot11radio1
Dfs band 2 3 4 block
Channel 36 preferred
Adding a preferred keyword option would allow co-channel interference to be avoided by design, whilst still allowing a DFS check to prevent wireless interference.
If I wanted to pursue the inclusion of this new option into AP IOS, what would be the best method in tackling this?

Very simple - The code of those VIs is protected. When you search for an element in all of your subVIs, the search function tries to look through ALL of them, including the password protected ones. Since it wants to look at the diagram, but the diagram is protected, it asks for a password. That's it. Nothing you can do about it, but avoid searching the VI.lib files. There is usually no reason to.

You can keep everyone on your iTunes account all you have to do is have everyone create there own iCloud account. Me, my wife, and my son all have our own iCloud for our own use. I have my 3 devices linked to mine, my son has 2 linked to his and my wife has 2 also. For some reason by default the iDevice will ask you to use your iTunes account but you don't have to. You can create it right from the device itself if you want a @me account which is the way to go IMO. you can also go to iCloud.com and create it there too. We have a total of 8 devices linked to one iTunes account for purchases and everything works like a champ. Hope this helps.

If you are syncing to the same computer that you always sync to, and have each of the items in itunes that you want synced then you shouldnt have an issue. The only way you would have an app come off your phone is if you uncheck that app from syncing in th apps location in itunes.

No probs. Here's how I do things...
1. Install tomcat as normal (e.g. I install to C:\Apps\jakarta-tomcat-5.5.4)
2. Create a webapps directory in your eclipse project with the following directory structure
MyEclipseProject
   - src
   - conf
   - webapps
      - MyApplication
         - META-INF
         - WEB-INF
            - classes
            - lib
            - pages3. Set the project's output folder (e.g. bin folder) to webapps/MyApplication/WEB-INF/classes
4. Put all your jar files in the lib directory
5. Put JSPs / HTML in the pages directory (you may also want to create additional directories for TLDs, config files etc)
6. Ensure your web.xml is in the WEB-INF directory
7. Although it isn't essential I create a context.xml file and store it in META-INF, e.g.

     <WatchedResource>WEB-INF/web.xml</WatchedResource>
     <WatchedResource>WEB-INF/conf/struts/struts-config.xml</WatchedResource>
     <WatchedResource>WEB-INF/conf/struts/tiles-defs.xml</WatchedResource>

d. Set the configuration file to the full path to your server.xml file created in step 8
On the "Advanced " sub page select all relevant projects to add to the Tomcat classpath
On the "JVM Settings" page add all the jars in your WEB-INF lib directory to the class path
On the "Source Path" page select all relevant projects
Now if you start Tomcat using the Tomcat icon, you will be able to remote debug your application. If you change web.xml (or any other file in your context.xml watched resources) it will automatically reload. Any changes to JSPs will automatically be picked up (providing your tell your browser not to use the page in cache - e.g. CTRL+F5 in IE)
There are some limitations that I'm still working on however. Primarily that I haven't included the Tomcat Manager application in my webapps directory, so Sysdeo cannot perform a reload. This means that if I change a source file, and eclipse auotmatically rebuilds, Tomcat doesn't pick up the change unless I either change a watched resource file (e.g. web.xml) or stop and restart Tomcat.
There's no reason why this can't be fixed, I just haven't got round to it yet.
I'm sure there are lots of other (probably better) ways of achieving the same thing. This was the first method I tried and it worked, so I stuck with it. I'm not a Tomcat config guru and I'm sure other forum users could provide some improvements should they wish.

Hi, been surfing the web for an example on how to add a certificate to the "global" IIS "Server Certificates" list using PowerShell but to no luck. I already have code in place on how to tie / associate a specific website with a specific cert but not how
to add the new .cer file using the "Complete Certificate Request..." wizard using PowerShell.... I dont expect the final code to become published but if someone had an idea on howto integrate / get an entry point on where to interact between the "Server Certificate"
list in IIS and POSH I would be super happy! :|
I am runnign IIS on a Windows 2008R2 x64 Standard Edition if that helps..... of course, I would saddle for an CLI if there is no other way, but POSH is of course the way to go! :)

Although it comes close, the suggested code example points on howto import / incorporate .pfx files - I am getting fed by .cer files which I need to add into the IIS console using POSH.
I tried explore the IIS.CertObj object but was not able to work out if this one could be used for importing / adding .cer files into IIS! However, launching the following command from a POSH console with Import-Module Webadministration already
loaded into that shell;
$certMgr = New-Object -ComObject IIS.CertObj returns the following error message:

More or less the one thing that I am trying to get up and running is an automated FTPS solution - I just use the IIS console to be able to troubleshoot / compare how things scripted from POSH interacts in the MMC representation. The error I am getting

I have a new MacBook Pro and I followed these instructions, downlonading and installing the new Flash plugin. But when I looked in "/Library/Internet Plugins" there was no folder called "Disabled Plugins".
However, I did see two versions of Flash:
_Flash Player.plugin with old date
Flash Player.plugin with todays date
I deleted _Flash Player.plugin and this fixed the problem.

How do I avoid re-entrant problems in Oracle JVM

I have a Java program called LanguageFunctions. This Java program has several methods that translate the data within a String or CLOB. I want to use this Java program as a stored procedure, and specifically the methods as Oracle functions. I want this function to be accessed simultaneously without either re-entrant, lock or performance concerns. I want to be able to use the functions something like this:
SELECT TO_CHINESE(VARCHARCOL1) FROM DUAL;
SELECT TO_FINISH(CLOBCOL1) FROM DUAL;
I am having trouble understanding the Java requirements for these methods. I am greatly concerned about multi-user usage and issues with re-entrant code. Does this have to be a static class? If not, how when and where does it get instantiated (I hope not for every invocation of the function)? How to I avoid having one user accidentally changing the data within the method when executed in parallel?
BTW: I have successfully moved these into the Oracle JVM, and executed them as a single user. My main concern is the re-entrant code issues.

I did read that any method that you want to use as an Oracle function must be static. So I understand that as a given. However, the class I am converting uses static Class variables. You can see this in the example as the textOut variable.
When two users are accessing this function in parallel, I could see the following series of events ocurring, and it is my concern. There is only one textOut, and I believe it can be modifed by both functions simultanesouly with unexpected results. I'm assuming my for loop is set to x < 2.

Most pages have layouts for pictures only or pictures with text boxes. Either select the same layout for that page but the one without the text box or put a space in the text box.
Putting a space in the text box will avoid getting the warning when ordering that there's an unfilled text box in the book. The box will not be visible in the final product. You can and should check the book before ordering by previewing it as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it

When you connect your phone and start iTunes on the left side you will see your phone listed under devices.Click on te icon next to it that looks like a battery. Click on the music button at the top and uncheck the sync music box.
