How do I back out of FF-4.0 & return my laptop to FF-3.6? My Verizon MiFi is no longer recognized. OS=Windows Vista.

My wireless local area connection was working fine before I thought I could improve "things" with this latest browser upgrade :-(

You can downgrade to the previous secure version which is 3.6.16 like this.
* Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.16] and download it to the desktop. If necessary, download the file with IE8 and choose to save it to your desktop when you see the prompt.
* Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).
* Then reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
* Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.

how do i back out adobe cc?

If you mean cancelling your subscription, you can do that by logging into http://www.adobe.com/ and clicking Manage then finding your subscriptions and managing the CC one, then there should be a Cancel My Subscription link.  You can also probably cancel your CC subscription by going to https://creative.adobe.com/ and finding the subscription and clicking on the Cancel link, there.  You may need to call or chat with Adobe as part of the process.

  • How do we back out the latest update?

Does anyone know how we can back out the latest update?
Last night I made the mistake of trusting the Verizon upgrade application and let it upgrade my Samsung Galaxay S3. Now various applications no longer work. They worked fine before, now they crash on start and give a message such as "Unfortunately, <application-name> has stopped." and I have options of <Report> or <Ok>.
There is NOTHING in the new update that I want, in fact I dislike the new graphics look and feel, auto spell typing has changed in ways I don't like, and applications aren't working.... so I want to go back...
    Anyone know how?
    Thanks,
    -=John

Having the same issues since I upgraded yesterday.  I see a lot of people posting issues after the upgrade, but no real solutions except the moronic reset (default answer for any problem) suggestion by verizon.

  • HELP! How do I back out of ios7 on my iPhone 4S??

Just upgraded my perfect 4s iphone to IOS7.  The new GUI is cumbersome and counterintuitive for ease of use.
The screen graphics are sloppy and washed out.   This just dramatically changed the iPhone functionality in a negative way.  Is apple or Verizon going to give us our money back??
Always considered apple products smart and super user friendly right out of the box.  iOS 7 destroys that.
Showed the phone today to several iPhone friends and they can't believe the new look and how horrible it is.  All said they won't allow the upgrade.
The only good thing from this is now you have a quick toggle to turn blue tooth and wi if on and off.  Everything else *****.
Apple HAS to supply a method of backing out of the iOS 7 upgrade.
    ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO?

You cannot - there is not, and never has been any supported means of downgrading iOS.

How do I transfer songs from my daughters itunes library onto my ipod?  We both have itunes libraries on a single computer running Windows Vista

Your question has probaby been answered already because it was posted a month ago but anyways what you do is you plug your phone into your computer. Next you want to open iTunes and click on File. Then you go down to "Transfer Purchases from *your name* iPhone". Then just wait for it to sync and you should be good.

  • I get no browser home page; no favorites/bookmarks; no back buttons; no tools, etc. just a generic Firefox bar with preset sites which go nowhere when clicked. I have windows vista home premium. Firefox works fine on my desktop

Upgraded to latest Firefox version on my laptop w/ Vista Home Premium and get no browser page; no back buttons; no bookmarks/favorites; no address bar...nothing like a typical browser page...all I have is a cumbersome Firefox bar that has preset sites that do nothing when clicked.
FF worked fine before I "upgraded". Want 3.5 back

I followed your instructions and installed Developer Suite 10G on Windows Vista Home Premium edition. I have Oracle 11G DB running on the same machine.
    Two points, Steve:
    1. When I tried to set the maximum virtual memory to 6110 an error message displayed from Windows and told me that I can't set the maximum virtual memory to more than 4096. I set it to 4090 and it worked and I got nothing wrong during the installation process.
    2. After installing JInitiator and disabling Java on Firefox I called the http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet page and everything seemed to be OK because the Oracle Forms Services logo appeared and then a successful installation message appeared , but as I clicked (ok) to continue a gray screen appeared inside the browser (like the one displayed when you try to run a Java applet inside a browser) and then I wait to death till something appears but sadly nothing. I just get a blank gray screen inside my Firefox browser.
Do you have any idea what to do to solve the problem?
    Regards

  • How to view backed up iPhone 3G Data on a Mac Laptop

I've backed up data from a damaged iPhone and now want to view it on my Mac Book. I'm told by Apple that there are some third party software solutions to this. Can any one help?
    Thanks in advance!

*Wjosten - you're being incredibly helpful thank you!*
I was able to extract the data but now I see files that are clearly messages (most of them with an associated image) but I'm unable to open them. Is there a decoding step Im missing? Or an app that will read these files? Files I see include "message.plist or 7696-0-preview - this last one says its a plain text file but text edit just give me code - not readable text. I have a feeling I'm missing a step.
I feel like a dummy - so thanks for your patience...

  • How do I opt out of this Firefox and return to previous version?

I simply wish to return to the previous version of Firefox at this time. I am not prepared right now to learn a whole lot of new information. I would appreciate your assistance in just taking one step back at this juncture. I will update later. Sincerely,
    S. L. Yadon

On the one hand, it doesn't take long to customize the UI to match the appearance of Firefox 3.
On the other hand, it doesn't take that long to revert to Firefox 3.6, either. Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
    Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

  • SCM: how to back out a version?

Someone checks in a file version.
It's discovered that this should not have been done.
How do you back out, throw away that version?
All SCMs provide for doing this, I haven't seen this in the VHV RighClick menu
    or ???
    Thanks,
    curt

    Thanks David,
But RON 4.11 fails to purge version.
The current SCM is way too anal about versions being in other WA's and
    configurations.
In a team environment, this just won't work. RON/SCM needs to have a
    nuke-it capability, IMO.
    Try this yourself. 12 SWA's and 10's of PWA'a reference a version. It's
not an option to run around and edit a rule that excludes a version you
    need to perge.
SCM with current difficulty of use encurages the re-checking in of a previous
version on top of the version you want to back out. So the VHV will not reflect what really happened, it will show yet another version checked in to
negate the changes you wanted to back-out.
What to other SCM users have to offer?
    Thanks, curt

  • Back out Reader 9.5.1 upgrade/update, restore previous version 9.x

How can I back out the most recently installed Reader (9.5.1) which is evidently causing a problem in opening links for PDF files from within IE 8 and Firefox 14?
    Thanks.
    Jerry

You uninstall the unwanted version (from Control Panel), then install the earlier version you want.
Note that earlier versions may not be secure.

  • Backing out of "Add All songs" to playlist

I accidentally hit the "Add All songs" when editing a playlist- the next button is "Done" - but I don't want to add 3000 songs - how can I back out of this choice?

I am having the same problem, "Error formatting disk iPod. Disk cannot be written to or copied from."
The guy at the apple store said the iPod is totally fine, that it's my computer. Getting nowhere with my laptop manufacturer - he tells me to do to the apple store.
I was told the best bet is to make sure my music files are backed up on my hard drive, then uninstall and then reinstall iTunes.

  • Back out a transport

    Hi,
How do I back out a transport that was released from dev ?
    Regards...

If u have released and transported then u need to retrieve the old version in se38-utilities-version-retireive version.
    or else
    if released and not transported
    u can either use
se03 and can set the status not released
    or else
update table e071 and the modify the specific line given the request and u change the status
    regards
