How do i back up my iphone when the screen doesnt work?

i dropped my iphone today and it landed screen down but did not smash, then the colours started to turn strange on the screen and now all there is are blue and black lines going down the screen, i took it into apple and asked if it was fixable and they told me i need to back it up. but thats where the problem is i cannot back up my iphone as itunes is asking me to insert my passcode but i cannot see the numbers on the screen, ive tried guessing a few times where the numbers are but it does not work, is there any way of backing up my iphone without having to put my passcode in my phone?

If you perform the backup using the computer you normally sync with, it shouldn't ask this. If that computer is not available or you have never done so, you're out of luck. You can't.

Try backing it up to your computer with iTunes. Connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of the phone in iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

I'm trying to make an interactive house simulation game (basic) and hit this issue where the timeline needs to skip to the next segment as several options are available per room (listed one after the other in the timeline). Flash isn't particularly easy to use when it comes to this kind of thing. Is Flash Catalyst CS5 more suited to this?

I really need help! I just got this MacBook Air almost two weeks ago. It is a refirbished one. Now lately, when I put it to sleep and then get back to it, it won't wake up. I'm not certain but my new MBA 13...when in sleep mode comes back on from a black screen when I simply click on the left mouse button. Also, one time I did a SECURE EMPTY TRASH on files that totalled more than 1GB and it took so long that the fan kept increasing in speed so I pressed on the POWER button and the MBA shut...I was able to boot up with no problem. As a rule, I now only do secured erases for trash bin data totalling 500mb or less...anything above that gets a regular erase (dump).

How to export/import prefs.js? Copying the file doesnt work

I want to export/import about:config changes. The paths is "Firefox/Profiles/i63866ho.default-1384517947097/prefs-js". I copied prefs.js, all the content of the folder "i63866ho.default-1384517947097" and "Profiles" folder also. Nothing worked. When I copied prefs.js it didnt do anything and comes back to the old/first prefs.js after restarting firefox. When I copy the folder it says it cannot be done.
Can someone help me?

I finally got the way, no need to change profiles.ini
I was as close as far from getting it. I was replacing Profiles folder when firefox was open. But firefox must be closed, I must copy all the content from the extrange named folder inside Profiles, replacing it for the content of the new one after restoring.
1. Set firefox with all changes on about:config, extensions, tabs, etc that I like, and then close it, cmd+q
2. Copy all content from the extrange folder in Profiles (something like niwxnm2h.default-1384723124135)
3. Open firefox and restore it, closing it again when it restarts.
4. Now, being firefox closed, replace the content from the new extrange folder by the old / copied.
5. Done, just start firefox.
So now I have two copies, with changes on about:config and with about:config and extensions.
