How do I backup my photos on my curve 9330 to my Mac computer
How do I backup my photos that are on my Blkberry Curve 9330 to my Mac computer. I am getting a new iphone soon and they told me at Verizon they can transfer my contacts but not my photos. So how do I get the photos that are on my phone onto my desktop of my Mac computer. I have both photos on a memory card and photos on my phone.

The first and only piece of technology my father-in-law has ever owned is an iPad; how can he backup his photos and contacts in the event something happens to his iPad and needs to be replaced? He should use iCloud. If he sets up an iCloud account, he will get 5GB of free storage which purchased content from the App Store and iTunes does not count against. His contacts and photos will count against the 5GB of storage but if he needs more space, it can be purchased at any time.
Many users have gone PC free and totally rely on iCloud now. It is very easy to setup on the iPad. Just tap on iCloud in the settings and follow the prompts. Read all of thses for more information.

If you sync with the new computer it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with the selected content of the new computer.
The pics that you have taken with the iphone should be imported regularly to your computer as you would with any digital camera. You can then organize them and sync them back to the iphone if you wish.
If you have had itunes perform a backup on the new computer, you should get the pics taken with the iphone back, but I would import them before trying anything. -

I am not sure this is going to work. For one thing, the preferences file is in a different place in Mountain Lion. It is at: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.pli st. I wouldn't try to move the .plist file, I'd be very surprised if it would work.
I would do a different approach and start with just recreating the mail account(s) you have on the new machine from scratch and let them download your mail from the server. Then if there were e-mails not on the server any more, but stored in the black macbook, I'd copy them from the mailboxes folder, from the old machine to the new. I'm not sure where they are in 10.5.8, but in ML they are at ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes.
At each stage along the way I'd do a backup, so in case it screws things up, you can revert to a functional Mail.app. -

I have a ipod that had photos synchronised to an old computer that has sinced crashed and the data can not be recovered. How do I recover the photos stored on the IPOD to my new computer?
You'll likely need the assistance of some sort of 3rd party software. Keep in mind that the photos on your iPod are only scaled down thumbnail versions of the originals. So even if you do manage to copy them backt to your PC, they will not be in their full original resolution.
Do a simple Google search for "copy photos from ipod" and you should get a number of hits that can assist you.

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
iPhoto for IOS and for the Mac share only a name at this time - not a data structure - unfortunately you can not currently do what you want even though it makes a lot of sense
