How do i become a better DBA ?

I'm still kind of new the the DBA role and still learning. Well normally I am.
Lately I've not been really busy. All the databases seem to be running OK, there are lots of them, but they aren't in high demand.
So what do i do now ?
What do you recommend I look at or investigate to work towards becoming a better DBA ?

Well, you're already doing a few things right....
You've recognized you have a lot to learn, and you're reading these forums. Those are good things. Also, have a look at the Oracle-L mailing list. (See http:///www.freelists.org and search for 'Oracle-L'.) Look for postings that have questions that interest you. See if you can figure out how to assemble a test case that answers the question. Load Oracle on your home or work laptop or desktop machine, so you have test bed for playing and experimenting. Reading books and documentation is great, but at some point, you have to get hands on, and when that happens, it's good to have a database that you can dsestroy and recreate, with no consequence.
Next, get involved with your local Oracle user group. If you're US based, most major metro areas have a local Oracle user group. If you're based outside the US, it's more likely that you'll find a regional or national level user group. Find out where/when they meet. See what people are working on and/or talking about. Finally, one of the best ways to learn about something, pick a topic, and do a 45-minute or one hour presentation on it at the local OUG. There's really no better way to learn something, than to try to teach it to someone.
Finally, stay interested and curious, for the long haul. Oracle puts out new database releases, each with new features, at an incredible rate. If you're not ready for a lifetime of continual learning, you're in the wrong career. :-)

I know 10-month training program is not enough for becoming a junior DBA. SO, could someone please tell me to the way or your story to become a junior DBA?

to ur oracle for updating by doing these you can learn how to update the database it is most important role in DBA and make some tuning to your database without using any tools go through sql optimization method by doing these you can learn all commands very well. then after practicing all these take your database backup and unistall oracle in your system after doing that again install oracle and import that previous backup database by doing these you can learn importing and exporting concepts and also learn RMAN concepts when ever ur attending any interview please go through all these concepts.

If you're serious about learning to develop then visit the developers forum and register.
If you just want an advance chance to get iOS5, I would advice you not to do this. The purpose of these betas is not rough edging, but for developers to se how the new OS affects their apps and how to update them to work. There is a good chance many of your apps will not work and that your iPad might brick.

No, Apple does not make hardware available to volunteers in their software testing programs. All of their hardware testing is done inhouse only, by actual Apple employees or their contracted manufacturers.
Apple software is tested in part by volunteers (once a product has matured to a beta release stage - alpha and pre-alpha level testing is also done inhouse by Apple employees), and you use your own equipment and do so without any guarantees of the software or how it may work (or not, as the case may be).

To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photosstream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
If only one of you purchases content from iTunes (this includes Books and apps too) then I suggest you use that account for each of you for iTunes only.

How do I get this beta IOS 7.0.2 JUNK TO WORK with my iPod touch 5?? I was prefectly happy with my iPod until I got the notice to upgrade itunes to 11.1 and would you like to upgrade your iPod from IOS 6 to IOS 7. And like an idiot I took the little green pill and pushed the button. Now I can't open iTunes, some apps; like the Lindsey Sterling app, Safari and Disney don't work either (not that I care about the Disney one, but, it's part of the base setup, you'd think "IT" would work!) almost anything with video links will not open, iCloud can't find me. All I get is that annoying white screen. I'M NOT HAPPY! I could have bought a Windows machine for a lot less money and have the same problems!?! (I'll bet Mr. Jobs is spinning like a top right now!) And I have goggled-- found a few fixes: re-install, restore, etc. found one that stated to get iTunes back to go into the iPods setting by double ckicking the home button go to iTunes app and sign out, then sign in again-- those options didn't work. If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

The largest databases that I have ever worked with barely over 1 Trillion Bytes.
Some people told me that the results of being a DBA totally change when you have a VERY LARGE DATABASE.

WIndows can't find a better one than the installed LSI Conformed 1394 Hostcontroller

Read and follow the Bootcamp Installation instructions that you were offered to view when you ran Bootcamp Assistant.
Run Bootcamp Assistant again and select the option to download the Bootcamp Support software. Follow the instructions. Then boot into Windows and install the Windows Support software you downloaded and saved.

Well working is good...
The code itself is less than spectacular I'm afraid. There is very little
OOness to this. For your future reference when you complete a program
and it consists of nothing but static methods you have done something
incorrectly.
As far as the code you do have goes some refactoring would be nice.
The two main methods you have (proj1 but especially processData) are
too long and unwieldy. processData seems to be a program in an of
itself. It's complicated and hard to follow.
My recommendation to you would be to read this http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/index.html
Especially focus on the sections dealing with explanation of Object
programming. These terms and concepts can certainly be confusing to
new programmers so you may also want to consider finding yourself a
tutor to help you get a better grasp of these concepts.
In short if it works that's good. And it's also good to see that you put the
effort and time in that you have. However if I was grading your project
I'd give it a C- at best because this is a Java program in syntax only.
