How do I blacklist sites from appearing/being screen captured in the new tab view (Banking/Social media/Etc...)?
When I was checking out the new tab view this morning, I noticed that there were screenshots from by accounts page on my banking website. I turned off the tiled display, but they came right back when i turned it on again. the problem is 1) I don't know where these screenshots are being stored, and how detailed they are (the thumbnails are blurry, but recognizable to me) and 2) how do I blacklist a domain from being screen capped for this purpose at all? The screen capture seems to not be related to having the tiles show up in the tab, since they came right back after toggling this setting.
these screenshots are stored in your browser's cache at the moment, but in future versions of firefox they will (together with the previews for tab panorama) be stored as plain picture files in a folder in the local applications data folder of windows & the number of screenshots will be optimized (reduced). the resolution is quite low, they are only available in the blurry format you already see.
you can remove sites by clicking the x button on the thumbnail - this will be remembered in a blacklist, however i'm not sure if this is affecting the whole domain or just the exact url (i suspect the latter).

As long as they are already ticked in your iTunes then yes. Just to check do a sync and as long as everything stays the same you are good to go.

Yes, that is the number. And what version of Aperture have you installed? The same version as on your old Mac?
But it don´t work on my new Mac...
In what way does it not work? Does it require you to enter a licence number for Aperture 2 as well? That will be necessary, if your serial number is an upgrade serial number. Then you will have to enter all previous numbers as well.
Or does Aperture not accept the number as correct? Then check the spelling; some letters are easily confused like "I" and "1" and "O" and "0". Do not use the number pad to enter the numbers.

If your iPod touch music is in your iTunes library, you just need to sync the new iPod nano with iTunes, the songs will be transfer to your new iPod. You will need to us a PC with Itunes 11.0.1 installed. Mkae sure you are signed in to the iTunes store with your Apple/Itunes Id.
1. You will need to connect the old iPad and make sure you - offload pictures in the Photoroll, sync the Apps from your iPad to the iTunes etc
2. Make sure that the iTunes app library has everything in it and make sure thath the device app folder has all the apps you want in it.
3. Make a manual back-up - once you are happy that the key Itunes folders are correct.
4. Depending on how you want to proceeed you can restore that back-up to your new iPad or build it from scratch.

I am using an iPad AiR. I have updated to iOS 8 in the last two weeks. Prior to the update, when I came out of a website I would close the site in the browser bar and my safari screen would be cleared. Since the update, whenever I open safari it always has the last webpage on the screen..... it does not clear. The address bar is always filled with last entry. can I change this, if so how (as an OCD sufferer, it is doing my head in!)

The photos tab appears on the right-hand side of iTunes when you've selected the device, in the same way as the music, films tabs etc appear for syncing those items to the iPad. You need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad. Can anyone please tell me how to stop email previews from appearing on my screen. I have turned off the preview option in settings on both my ipad and iphone, but they still keep appearing. Thanks
works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1). Try again. with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only. (you cannot get rid of the subject) with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.
