How to send 20 individual pictures to the front panel ?

I have a lung simulator which I connected to the Ni 9205 and could read voltage from. I wrote the program and it works well. I want to use this program for taking an exam of some trainees. Now I have a problem. I need the trainees to look at the graphs and when they want additonal information by pressing a button, a picture of an xray or lab data related to that patient shows on their monitor. Case by case is different. I have for example 20 lab data from different patients with their xrays. How can I control the trainee program to send a picture which is related to that patient?

Yes.
You just need to have your LabVIEW code programmed to do that. You can convert the picture data to a stream of bytes (look at typecast or flatten to string) on the sender. Use TCP/IP functions to send the data over the network.
The receiver will do the reverse (typecast back to an image, or unflatten from string) and send it to the picture indicator.

How to setup jpeg file as background image for all site pages and resolution stay same?

I have background image set the same on all site pages but image is incorrectly zoomed way in on some pages (like Home page for example).
The Donate Page shows the correct resolution which I want displayed on all site pages.
How do I set all other site pages to match background image resolution of the Donate Page?
I am not sure what I am doing wrong that is changing this, or if it's possibly a bug?
I want the background image to be full screen on all site pages please advise how to resolve.

I have re-uploaded my site to http://wwwtjhtestdec2012.businesscatalyst.com.
If I set the Master page to Tile vertically that is only way I can get full screen background image of vegetables (without distortion).
Then however another issue occurs....
On Home Page of site I set same property to Tile and the background is better (no visible line where tiles meet---above the navigation tool bar--that is what I want for all pages associated to Master.
So logically, I tried setting a 2nd associated site page to same master, to Tile but on Statement of Faith Page, notice the horizontal line where tiles meet, above my navigation bar on that site page?
Why does Muse not handle both site pages associated to the same master identically?
Any of the other options besides Tile or Tile vertically cause the background to not fill entire screen.
Ideas?

Then there is no point to use it for me. Some channels require parental control for some programs, so this option should be available.Someone can argue that then "why don't you lock whole channel and unlock whenever you want to use it." I want to avoid locking-unlocking by locking specific programs.
Comcast has this option of locking specific program as well locking channel!

How can I offer individual password protected pdfs on my site.

I am building a site for a client of mine. His business is a music talent agency. He would like that on the page of the individual artist, there be a link to download a pdf that only that artist can download if he/she enters a correct password. I think from reading other posts that I can simply offer a pdf download link and have that pdf password protected when I initially create the pdf itself in adobe acrobat. Are there other ways of doing this or is that the best route to go? All responses appreciated.

For protecting PDFs, I am afraid you do need Acrobat, and here's how you accomplish applying password protection: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/acrobat-tips-and-tricks/protecting-your-pdf-using-a-password/
With this approach, you may have to reassign unique passwords to PDFs and ensure right passwords are communicated to the right people (there is not sign-in option) - that may be a bit of challenge.
Alternatively, with some basic scripting you could allow right people to download the right PDFs. This will need some mapping at the DB level.
Or, you could also leverage social media and use the OAuth mechanism to ensure that the users log in via social sites to download PDFs that are unique to them. Look forward to your thoughts.

If you didn't have iCloud set up and have Find My iPad activated, there is no way to block it. Have a look at this.

Image not on site files

I have been workng on a web page all summer. I have worked
with a template file for my link pages. All summer I have had an
image in the upper corner of the page. It has show up on all the
files I have created from the template, until today. It shows up in
the template but it is not showing up on the pages I have created
from it. I did make a small change on the template page and told it
to update all pages. It went through them all. I have the .jpg
saved in the templates directory. Do you know how I can correct
this problem???

There should never be any files in the Templates folder other
than the
template files themselves. If this image is in there, move it
out, and let
DW adjust your links.

How to view one playlist by albums? (Not entire music library)

Albums are importatnt to me. I listen to the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album for instance. I have no desire to have those songs shuffled etc. However, I also like the Genius Mixes. They take songs from my list of singles and intelligently order them like a radio dj would.
Let's say I put my 5 favorite albums in a playlist called "Favorite Albums:. I sync this to my Ipod touch. I can now turn my ipod horizontally and see my albums and easily pick the one I want.
Now let's unsync that playlist and sync one of my Genius Mix
Now I can play the Genius Mix and here songs by Singers/Songwriters (for instance) that are intelligently chosen and ordered. I've tried this on Itunes on my desktop and I like how it works.
Here's the problem:
Let's try to sync my "Favortie Albums" playlist AND my Genius Mix
I now go to my Ipod Touch and find my "Favorite Albums" playlist. It shows a list of songs. ( don't see an option for album view anywhere). Now I turn my Ipod trouch horizontally expecting to see the albums in that playlist. Instead I see dozens and dozens of albums. My albums are in there somewhere but my Ipod touch is showing me every song on my Ipod in album view. The other albums are there because the Genius mix needs thosee songs.
At first I thought my Ipod touch was mixing all of my playlists and Genius Mix togethor. No matter what playlist I opened I saw dozens and dozens of albums from other plalyslists.
It took me hours on the phone with Itunes to figure out that there was not real problem witht playlists. The problem is that I was assuming if you are looking at a playlist and turn the ipod horizontally you would see that playlists.
Ok, so that is the way it operates and I didn't know it. But. I can't find any way to view a playlist by albums on my ipod touch.
Yes, I can look at artists, songs, albums, playlists. But looking at albums doesn;t help. It shows ALL of the albums and in list view.
The agent was very friendly but had no idea what a Genius Mix was. I had to carefully explain to him that a Genius mix is not a Genius Playlist etc etc.
In the end his suggestion was that I don't use Genius Mixes and only sync the albums I want. My answer to that is that someone at itunes came up with this Genius Mix thing and the tout how wonderful it is. It's pretty bad to then say "Why don't you just use shuffle?"
Can anyone help me figure out a way to have Genius Mixes on my Ipod Touch and be able to look through my plalist by albums?

You can burn that playlist as data CD/DVD (backup). Go to the preferences menu and make sure that data CD/DVD is selected. If the playlist is too large you could split it by moving a part of the files to a second playlist.

FNDLOAD Question -- How to FNDLOAD a set of custom ROLES, not entire UMX?

Question:
Are there any other options in FNDLOAD that will allow us to pull only those roles that are custom, either based off of UMX_ROLE name, UMX security CODE or any other attribute?
Background:
We have created ~40 custom roles in our 11.5.10.2 EBIZ environment, and would like to migrate these roles with FNDLOAD between environments. We are executing the following:
FNDLOAD <username/pwd@sid> 0 Y DOWNLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/afrole.lct umx_roles.ldt WF_ROLE ORIG_SYSTEM=UMX%
This will get us ALL UMX roles in the entire EBIZ system!
Now, granted, we can go into the umx_roles.ldt file and edit the file, but the possibility for human error comes in..."FAT FINGERS" syndrome!

Did a lot with FNDLOAD, iSetup and ACMP in the previous month. I am assuming that you are using naming conventions for your roles, right?
In this case, the role code shall always start with XX, to specify that this role is a custom role.
Then, in FNDLOAD you use the parameter ROLE_NAME:
FNDLOAD <username/pwd@sid> 0 Y DOWNLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/afrole.lct umx_roles.ldt WF_ROLE ROLE_NAME=UMX|XX%
I just tested this and it works perfectly, exactly the 15 roles I created are extracted.

That is a carrier feature if they offer it via their website or via phone. Contact your carrier. I know verizon you can go to their website to block a certain amount of numbers. But it is NOT a iphone feature.

In the recent calls tab on Ver 3.1 How do I delete individual calls without deleting the entire history of all the other calls?
Say I have ten phone calls on my screen in the recent tab. I want to delete the one from Bob Claus and leave the rest of the history of all other callers there?
How does one do this please?

Not true! Do Not Disturb blocks all calls except those from the folks you specify.

There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

(Other users here use the alternative FotoMagico: http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/homevspro/ which you may prefer - I have no experience with it.)
Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, including adding other video clips, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!
To simply create a slide show in iDVD 7 onwards from images in iPhoto or stored in other places on your hard disk or a connected server, look here:
