How do I book mark multiple tabs

I've a page with 5 tabs, is there a way that I can book-mark this page with the 5 tabs so when I click on the saved book-mark it would bring up the 5 tabs?

Have a look at Session Manager. This add-on is one I use daily:

  • How can I actually open multiple tabs of the same site, instead of performing the new "switch to tab" action?

For example, sometimes I would like to open multiple tabs of Google Maps to get directions to multiple locations, and I haven't found a way to do so without open a new instance of the browser. Thanks.

This one colors tabs, but the author warns that it doesn't work with other tab-related extensions, so you probably need to keep searching for one that does everything you want:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/colorfultabs/
If you don't find a do-it-all extension, you can modify the tab titles with a userscript that is specific to that website. This is because the tab displays the text designated in the page as its title.
You either could "hard code" the list of words for each of the pages, or you could have a script extract information from the page, for example, the first main heading, or some other predictable bit of data. The script then would insert your preferred wording as the title of the page and Firefox will show that on the tab.
To see how that appears, so you know whether it would be useful, you could do this experiment:
On a web page that has useless tab text, open the Web Console using command+alt+k (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+k). In the line at the bottom next to the caret, paste the following code and press Enter:
    document.title="Magic!";
If you decide you want a script written for this, you could try the request forum on userscripts''.''org:
    [http://userscripts.org/forums/2 Ideas and script requests - Userscripts.org]
Although some people offer small payments, that usually isn't necessary to motivate people to help.
Let me give you a brief warning about that site, though: over the past year, a lot of popular scripts were duplicated and reposted with additional code that hijacks your Facebook account. Be cautious when installing scripts, check the reviews, make sure there are no references to Facebook.

  • How to stop book marks from opening in a side bar instead of the current tab

I was fiddling around with some add ons, but for some reason now whenever I try to open a bookmark it opens them in a weird little side bar thing on the left of my screen. How can I make it so that my bookmarks open up in my current tab again?

hello, you can right-click those bookmarks, select properties & uncheck the option to load the bookmark in the sidebar.

  • How can I set up multiple tabs to come on at Start-Up, the way that Internet Explorer and Chrome allows one to do?

It appears that Firefox might not have that feature. It's an important feature to me, and I hope I do not have to go back to IE or Chrome to get that Start-Up option. Can anyone tell me if I can set up a variety of tabs with my most-used URLs to open at Start Up?

Firefox can start multiple home pages; they are separated by the "|" keyboard character. The easiest way to set up multiple home pages is to start with no tabs open, then open only the tabs that you want as home pages, then click:
*click Firefox button > Options > Options > General > Use Current Pages
*using the Menu Bar: click Tools > Options > General > Use Current Pages
Be sure on the Options > General tab that

  • How to import book marks from Firefox

How do you import bookmarks from Firefox?
    Thanks,
    Sam

You may find as I did that you don't have to export anything from your existing browser(s).
Go into Safari and click on the 'book' icon on the toolbar below your navigation bar.
This will bring up the Bookmark page below. Scan through the list of the left-hand side of the screen.
What I saw was that there were 2 folders included already (without exporting anything); one for imported IE bookmarks, and another for Imported Firefox bookmarks. I then selected all of the links inside my Firefox folder and dragged them into the Bookmarks Menu folder and that was all I needed to do. I didn't want my IE bookmarks, so I deleted that folder along with my now empty Firefox bookmarks folder.
You may have similar luck if you check here first. You can always manually export/import later if you wish.

  • How do I book mark a page in a downloaded book?

I downloaded this book in PDF form but I cannot bookmark the last page I read so I have to constantly scroll through all the read material to try and find my place.  This is a real pain.  I cannot get the usual tool page of Adobe so I could even highlight the last page read.  Any ideas?

    Windmees,
Before you shut your iPad off or leave it idle for an extended period of time, I'd recommend closing the currently viewed PDF document.
Tap anywhere in the currently viewed PDF document to display the top toolbar.
Tap the back arrow ('<') on the left side of the top toolbar.
When you close the document, Reader will automatically save the page location (and any changes that you've made by adding comments or filling out a form).  Then it will remember the last page next time you open the same document.
You can try it several times to see if it works for you.

Adobe Reader is a PDF viewer, not an eBook reader.  You will need to find other Android apps for reading DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected eBooks at the Play Store.

i was getting to know my firefox so i accidentally unmarked the menu bar the book marks tool bar and the tool bar. so now only my tabs are visible and i cant get to any of my add-ons or extensions.
and even surfing the net has become difficult cause there is almost nothing i can do with a new empty tab.
how can i get these bars back. i tried taking the cursor up to the thin line above the tabs and the window border but the menu to mark the above mentioned features does not appear any more.
i tried restarting firefox several times but it didn't work. i even uninstalled and completely downloaded a new version of firefox and installed it but the problem still persists.
i am operations system is windows XP.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

Dear Sir, I am a new user for firefox, now i am using firefox 4.0 beta version. In this how can is place book marks in below the address bar like IE8 OR IE9

In Firefox 4 you can press F10 or use "Firefox > Customize" to make the Menu Bar and other toolbars visible and remove the check-mark on "Tabs on Top" to place the tab bar in the old position.
You only see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
