How do I bookmark ALL tabs at one time?

Firefox 3 allow all tabs to be bookmarked at one time. Please let me know how to do this with version 4.
Thanks!

You can access bookmark all tabs by right-clicking on a tab, or use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+D

Open a new window. Go to the other window with all the tab. Close it. You now only have that newly open window.

  • How do I bookmark all tabs in a window in one operation?

The bookmark menu used to list a choice to create a directory with bookmarks for all of the tabs in a window, but I can't find that option any more. Can you help me find it? Thanks!

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or Alt+B to open the Bookmarks menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
    * "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
    * "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

  • Firefox 3.6 had a "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Bookmarks Pull down menu. How can I "Bookmark All Tabs" using Firefox 4.0.1

I recently updated to Firefox 4.0.1 from Firefox 3.6. Firefox 3.6 had a "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Bookmarks pull down menu. There isn't a "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Firefox 4.0.1 Bookmarks pull down menu. Has this feature been eliminated from Firefox 4.0.1? If I want to save 24 tabs in one window of Firefox and 14 tabs in another window of Firefox, do I have to save all the tabs individually? How can I set the options, preferences, etc. so that I can "Bookmark All Tabs" at once in a window of Firefox 4.0.1. I am running Firefox 4.0.1 on a desktop computer with Windows7 Professional OS with Firefox as my default browser.

Right click a tab and you will get the option to bookmark all tabs. Or use keyboard '''Alt + B''' which opens the old style menu. You can make changes to Firefox, as explained in this post: [/questions/799856#answer-155765]

  • How do I bookmark all tabs in all windows?

Just upgraded to 10.0.2. I have a few Firefox windows open, with a bunch of tabs in each one. I know how to bookmark an individual window's tabs (ctrl-shift-D), but is there a way to bookmark all open windows and all the tabs in each one, or do I have to do each window separately?
    Thanks

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that this has nothing to do with 10.0.2. I don't remember ever even thinking about doing this before. I'll check out the add-on, but it does seem like this would be useful functionality to have in the product.
    Thanks

  • How do I delete    all contacts (at one time) from i      phone4

Somehow I have gotten mutilple listing in contacts.  How do I delete all contacts from I phone and start over?

        baprawski,
Is there a particular reason why you want to delete the contacts all at once? The only way you can delete all the contacts all one time would be to wipe the device. This will complete erase all data on the phone including the contacts.
You want to make sure you backup your device uisng the desktop manager. Once you perform the wipe you can then backup your contacts using the desktop manager and just make sure to uncheck the Contacts when backing up so they are not added back to your phone.

  • Creative Zen 8 gig - How do I play all videos at one time and skip to next vid

I was able to do this with the Creative Zen V plus 2 gig, why can't I with the large and more expensi've one?
    THanks,
    John

I have the same question as the original poster.
I am loading the zen with music video files only (wma) and would like to have the same playback options as mp3s.
I understand video file dont have "tags" like mp3s used to facilitate searcing for tracks eg. artist, album etc and i wonder if this could be a problem.
The question is...How do i get the player to play a list (or folder contents)) of video files either randomely or consecuti'vely without having to do it manualy for each and every video ie set up a playlist. Or is this not possible
    Thanks

  • How do I "delete all" emails at one time ??

I use POP3 email accounts. There isn't a slick way (that I can see) to select every email from your inbox and delete them. Has anyone come up with a solution for this ??
And please don't answer with: switch to an imap account.

    Thanks!

I don't access an antiquated email account type, so I have nothing to complain about.
If Apple included a delete all at once option for an account's Inbox mailbox, the habitual whiners that did this by accident would come unglued.

  • What happened to the ability to bookmark multiple tabs in one click? As far as I can tell, the new Firefox has dropped this option and now forces you to create a folder, individually bookmark every page and organize the bookmarks yourself.

Clean install of Firefox on clean install of Win7 x86. Previous bookmarks lost due to hdd crash. Trying to configure Firefox 4 like my previous Firefox 3 and finding it difficult. This was my favorite feature of the previous Firefox and I'm dismayed that it's either gone or well-hidden.

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only show up if you use the keyboard to open the menu. Bookmark All Tabs is one of them and you see that entry if you use Alt + B to open the Bookmarks menu. You can see the same if you use Alt + F to open the File menu instead of pressing Alt and click the menu entry.

  • Newest version did not have option to 'bookmark all tabs'

I have used Firefox for years and love it. Recently updated from 3.6.24 to a newer version....8 something, I think. It did not offer 'bookmark all tabs' which I use regularly. Almost daily I have multiple pages open with info. I want to refer to again so need to bookmark all of them.
I then did a search and found a site where I could dl the older version of Firefox, 3.6.24. Then today I dl'd version 3.6.25. Checked immediately for the bookmark all tabs option and it was there. But also got a message saying that was an older version and recommended I update to version 9 something.
I would be happy to do that IF it has all the options I now have, especially the bookmark all tabs.
    Many thanks

To "Bookmark All Tabs", do one of the following:
*right-click on a tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs"
    *Ctrl+Shift+D

  • How can I bookmark all my tabs in a bokmarkfolder without adding them one at a time in the newer versions of firefox?

In older versions of firefox a had the ability to instantly add all my open tabs to a folder of bookmarks. I really liked this feature, it was very convenient when I was doing something and was interrupted and wanted to be able to get back to where I was at a later time.
However I have not been able to find this feature in the newer versions of firefox.
    Where do i find it?
I hope you have not removed it, because that would be a real shame.

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).<br />
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
    * "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page.

  • How do I bookmark all my currently open tabs in one click in Firefox 4?

I used to be able to bookmark all my currently opened tabs with a click of one button under the Bookmarks menu, but that option is now gone. Is it gone forever or I just don't see it?

Hi, you can bookmark all your currently open tabs with right click on any of your open tabs, there you'll find the option '''Bookmark all tabs...''' (this option was there also in Firefox 3.x), then you must provide a location and a folder name to group those new bookmarks. Hope this info will be helpful to you.

  • How can I update an already saved "bookmark all tabs" group with a current group of tabs? Or add only the changes??

    Example of problem:
I have already saved a group of tabs using the "bookmark all tabs" feature.
I open that group of tabs in a new browser window.
Then I modify that group of tabs that I have open, adding new ones, removing old ones.
How can I replace the existing tab group with the new tabs?
Is there an option to just add the new ones that I have opened and keep all the others even if I have removed some of the old ones from the currently opened group?
...another issue: can I share bookmarks online? What are the options for this?

    You can't do that.<br />
Each time you use "Bookmark All Tabs" a new folder is created, even if you give the folder the same name, so you will have to do any merging yourself in the Bookmarks Manager or just create a new group and discard (delete) the previous group.
If you want to share bookmarks online then you need to use a web based service that offers such a feature like Delicious.

  • How do I save the same bookmark in the same folder more than once using the bookmark all tabs feature in FireFox 21?

I was able to do this previously. Recently however, firefox has only been allowing me to save one of the same webpage per bookmark folder. odd request I am aware, however, it is necessary to my usage of the program to make long lists of associated items.

    That is not possible.<br />
When you sue Bookmark all tabs then duplicate tab won't get stored separately, but only one occurrence of a specific URL, so you would need to distinguish them e.g. by adding an anchor (#&lt;random_nr&gt;).
You would need to save a list of currently open tabs to achieve this.
Extracting the links from a sessionstore.js file might be the easiest way to achieve this.
