How do I burn cd's off my ipod?

I need some help. There are a couple of cds that I want to burn for a friend. However, I don't have the songs in my itunes library. Is there any software out there that would allow me to do what I need to do? I will check back and let you know if it works!! Thanks!

You need to use something like EphPod to copy the songs into your iTunes library, and then burn them to a CD. You can't burn a CD directly from the iPod.
I'm assuming you own the copyright to these tracks though, otherwise what you're doing is illegal....

  • How do I retrieve the music off my iPod after installing a new hard drive on my laptop

My laptop harddrive was just replaced, and I didn't have my iTunes backed up. When I went to sync my iPod with my new iTunes, it says that my iPod is already synced to another iTunes library, so I can't sync it to mine. But that old one was on my dead hard drive. How can I retrieve my music off my iPod?

Copy the entire iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

Restore the music form your most recent hard drive backup.
You do make backups of your hard drive, right?
There has to be a way.
There's many ways. If you search the forums, you'll find dozens of solutions. You can use the search box in the upper right portion of the discussions website.
Other wise what's the point of the ** thing.
It's an audio player... not a backup device.
If you rely on your iPod as a backup of your music.. then you are misusing the device. It's not intended to be used in this manner. Apple makes it difficult to get music off the iPod as a method to hinder music piracy.

  • How do i get my music off my ipod so i can put it on my computer

how do i take the music off my ipod and put it on to my computer , even if i can copy them , just dont no how to do it xxx

Transfer all iTunes purchases by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases with your iPod Touch plugged into your PC and in iTunes.
For all non-iTunes purchased content, you'll need the help of third party software to help get the job done.  See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering a few options.

  • How do I get my music off my iPod Touch?

I had a virus and had to delete all the data on my computer. I am now setting iTunes up again and I tried to get my songs off my iPod touch. It transfered only a small portion of my music, only the songs I had purchased in the past few months or so. I am authorized on this computer, and the few songs I got by trying to sync the songs off my ipod. How do I get my music off my iPod so I can listen to it on my computer?

You'll likely need the assistance of some third party software to help you recover the non-iTunes purchased music.  See this older thread for a few possibilities.

Transfer the iTunes folder from your old computer to your new computer. It's in your My Music >> iTunes folder. You'll probably need an external hard drive to do this. Make sure you upgrade the old and the new computers to the latest iTunes before transferring your music to the new machines.

  • I got a new computer, how do I get the photos off my ipod on to my computer?

I got a new computer, how do I get the photos off my ipod on to my computer?

For photos synced from your computer ( photo library pics) you don't.  The photo sync is one way - computer to ipod.
You need to move the pics from your old computer or your backup copy of the old computer.  You could e-mail them to yourself.  They will not be of the original resolution.
For pics taken with ipod ( Camera Roll Pics), then you import them as you would from any digital camera.

You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The exception being itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases
