How do I bypass trust computer if the screen doesn't work

Hi,
I have an iphone 5 that has a damaged screen. The phone was water damaged which has affected the screen. The screen turns on and shows the time as it usually would, but the 'touch' component of the screen has been damaged so I can't unlock the phone. The phone still turns on and works. I can receive calls if I have the headset plugged in and play music. I can also use Siri to make calls. . When plugged in to a computer the phone is registered but I need to trust the computer on the phone which I can't do. Is there any way I can bypass the 'trust computer ' while the phone is plugged into a computer so I can access the hard drive on the phone so I can copy all of the photo's?
Any help would be appreciated.

Get the screen replaced.
Also, it's always a really bad idea not to activate iCloud and Find My iPhone.

  • The left part of the screen doesn't work very well

The left part of the screen doesn't work very well. It's hard to erase a letter, and impossible to me to insert the "P".
Does it means that I need to replace the screen? Or there is a other solution?

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.
If you've gone through ALL the troubleshooting steps and you're still having the problem, then you most likely have a hardware issue and will need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

I need to restore the phone to send it back to the company, however when I try to restore it on the computer, it prompts that I need to turn of "Find My IPhone" in order to restore the phone. • I broke my phone and the screen doesn't work. How do i transfer the pictures i have on that sim card to my computer/other device?

I cannot see the screen. The phone is on but I'm not sure that the pictures I have are backed up on my cloud. I have it plugged into a computer but it's not reading anything. The sim card I have on the broken phone is too big for the phone I am currently using.

You can also try plugging your phone into your computer with a USB cord.  Depending on the settings prior to breaking the phone, you might be able to see it show up as a removeable drive like you would a thumb drive.

  • When I open my MacBook lid sometime the screen doesn't work!

Hi, I have found that recently, when I open the lid of my MacBook Pro it does not wake from sleep properly. The sleep light goes out and I can hear the hard drive spinning, but the display does not work.
I have to turn off the mbp and restart it, then it will work. It works sometime, it tends to be when I leave it closed for too long that it does this.
    Can anyone help??
    Thanks
    Tom

I am having this same problem. The computer itself is awake, but the display stays blank. I can restart it by pressing the power button then 'R' then 'return'. This just starting happening frequently recently for me. It may be the result of one of the more recent security updates.

  • The screen doesn't work except on the bottom and i cant reboot it because my power button doesn't work, The screen doesn't work except on the bottom and i cant reboot it because my power button doesn't work

I was in the middle of texting my mom and the screen stopped working! It only stopped working in the middle but i can't even turn it back on because my password numbers won't work when i touch them! I also cannot reboot my ipod because the power button doesn't work! I need help on fixing this problem please!!

Try as best you can with broken button.:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:
    For PC
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
    If necessary:
    Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
    For MAC or PC
    The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Turning Macbook on but the screen doesn't work?

    Hello
I've been having issues with my Mac... Every time I turn on my Mac, it turns on correctly, but my screen doesn't turn on, it's as if it's stuck on sleepmode. I tried resetting the system manager, applealt+p+rpowerbutton and it still only turns onto sleep mode. Another thing I noticed is that my mac has a tendency of restarting if I move it or pick it up.

I'd run the Hardware Test (from your Install DVD) and see if that presents anything.

  • Bottom 1/4 inch of the screen doesn't work when it's hold upright

As said in the title, when the ipod is hold upright, like this | the volume controll doesn't work, same for the keyboard when it's used for typing.
However, if I use safari, and I want to switch to another page, the bottom half does work... Strrrange eh?
I'm quite sure it hasn't got anything to do with the screen itself, because sometimes, like 20h later it suddenly does work again!
And oh, video didn't work once for a few days, all red and green blurry thingies occured on the screen. Also on youtube vids. When I connected it to itunes because I wanted to remove pics agenda because I wanted to return it to the store... IT WORKED AGAIN..
I'm quite sick of it now, does anyone know what to do now?
    Kind regards, janwillem
Oh yea, when I hold it horizontal, then the side 1/4inch does work on websites and all...

Replacing an item that is malfunctioning because of a manufacturing error is the bare minimum I would expect from customer service for any electronics item.
The thing Apple does extremely well is their flat fee policy for repairs on their computers.
I managed to break my MacBook pretty seriously (logic board needed to be replaced) and I'm sure it cost them more to repair the unit than the $328 they charged me.
I probably would have been angry if it was something minor, but I'm guessing that most repairs to screens/motherboards/etc cost more than their flat fees.

  • Just built the computer and the sound doesn't work.

So, I have just built my computer today. Had a few hiccups, but so far so good. However, I've come to a bit of snag. I can't get the audio to work, no matter what I try.
    MOBO: MSI z87-g45 gaming series
I've installed the drivers, I've double checked the plugs, but I can't get anything to come from my headphones, no matter if they're in the back or the front. Could anyone give me some help? If you need more information, I'll give it to you.

have you tried to >>Clear CMOS Guide<< with power cord removed and to load bios defaults?
have you tried to boot with barabone setup with mainboard out of pc case placed over wooden table?
Else you can flash to latest BIOS 1.7:

  • The 'back-button' on the screen doesn't work/clic anymore..

Somebody who had the same troubleshooting?
Can I fixe it, or does it have to go to Apple?

    Try this:
    Calibrate Home Button
    1. Open a stock application like Calendar, Weather or Youtube
    2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
    3. As soon as you see it, press the Home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is forced quit to the Home menu

  • The bottom of my screen doesn't work how do I fix it?

My screen has been cracked for a while now missing a piece of screen in the top and bottom corners of the device. It has been working fine no problems until last night. I think i layed on top of my ipod touch 4g and now the screen doesn't work right and I can't unlock it. I've tried reseting the device and restoring it and that does not help. Is there a mechanical fix I can do I have a screwdriver for ipod screws I just don't know how to fix it. So basically is there a way for me to fix the screen on my device myself if not where can I send it to, to get it fixed and how much and how long will it take. Thanks for any help!

No way to fix it. Seems like a bad digitizer.

  • The bottom bar on my mail has disappeared which means I can't create, reply or forward to an email. Any ideas how to get it back? Touching the screen at the bottom doesn't work!

The bottom bar in my email seems to have disappeared which means I can't create, reply or forward any emails. Any auggestions to how to get it back? Touching the bottom of the screen doesn't work. Thanks.

Close all apps in the Multitasking Drawer; Double Tap Home Button to open drawer, Swipe up on each app to close it. Repeat until all apps are closed, touch home screen.
Restart phone, hold both Home and Power/Sleep buttons down at the same time, continue to hold them down until the Apple Logo appears, Release both buttons and wait for phone to restart.
Check email app to see if bottom bar and new email icon have come back.
If not, delete the email account in settings and then add it back in again.
If mail still not working as it should, you may try doing a Reset All Settings reset in Settings => General => Reset => Reset All Settings.  You won't lose any data, music, apps, videos, pictures, etc.  But you will have to go back in and turn on or off any settings you changed on your phone because everything will be set back to factory defaults.
