You don't say which version of the Mac OS you have, but in 10.6, do System preferences > Displays and select the "Color" tab. One button is labeled "Calibrate..." that lets you set up and save a custom color profile for your display. Give the new profile a name and you can switch between the custom and the default profile easily.

How am I able to display 2 or more folders in ftp?
I have ftp working, but the users only go to the desired folder "FTP" which I set up. Is there a way to have the contents of FTP shown along with the contents of an external drive i have "music"??

SuperCal is definitely a PPC application, but professionals will have to be able to calibrate their display as well somehow (I am guessing)...

How do you calibrate the touch display on an HP B210a?
Well, I screwed up. I was messing around in the service menu (stupid me). I hit calibrate touch screen thinking it would be beneficial, but it ended up with me not knowing what I was doing, and now I cannot get the printer to respond to touch. So, how do I calibrate it so it works if I can't get it calibration? Please DONT say send it to HP, I really need to know how to do this on my own.

Best method to calibrate new display?
I have recently purchased one of the new Dell ST2420L LED displays, and after connecting it to my MacBook Pro it seems really really bright, and the colours seem off. Turning down the brightness obviously helps with it being really glary but it does not fix the colours - plus it is not easy to work with it turned down so far!
Can anyone tell me the best way to calibrate both the display itself, and also calibrate the display with my MacBook via the mac calibration tool?

I have a second question to ask about Inserting rows..I was successful with the sql statement in adding a row to the parent table. Now I need to insert a row in the related child table. There are approx 5 child tables where I need to be able to add rows.
My questions as to the proper sequence to do this:
1. do I execute the Insert for the parent table first?
2. then have the user click the button to add info for the child table and then click another button that does the insert into the child table? At this point, is this where I reference the parent table(fac_seq.currval)?

Can Not Calibrate the display. The factory profile for the display...
I have an apple cinema display 20" and a mac powerbook g4 (1.25 GHx PowerPC g4, 1.25 GB DDR SDRAM) with os 10.4.9. All of my software is up to is date.
I used to be able to calibrate my colorsync profiles. My computer's hard drive recently failed and I had it replaced and the system re-installed (If any of you live in NYC, I took it to tek Serve, and they know what they are doing).
Now when I try to calinbrate my monitor I get the error "Can Not Calibrate the display. The factory profile for the display could not be found." Like I said I have updated to 10.4.9 but this hasnt solved my problem. I have restarted my computer, and this has also not solved my problem.
Any help!?! Please! This is important to me as I do color work for print and I need to see colors accurately When I use my computer.I fixed it already. There was indeed a problem in the preferences. In my case I removed the whole preferences folrder to the desktop (which forces the computer to rebuild it fresh) and it worked fine! Then one at a time 'as it was needed, I put back the preferences for other applications (mail, itunes etc). Turns out no preferences was better than whatever corrupted preference was in there causing the problem. You know what I mean. If no preferences are there the applications start over building it new automatically. So it was like a preferences restart. sorta.
Unfortunately, since I dont have applecare I had to spend 50 bucks on the phone with apple to figure this out. It's amazing how long it took them to actually pinpoint the problem. Hopefully if anyone gets that error in the future they'll find this post on google and save some bucks. -

You can't change the display in the Mail app, if you are holding the iPad in landscape orientation then the left-hand third will be for navigation, and the right-hand two-thirds will be an email. If you hold the iPad in portrait orientation then the navigation section becomes a drop-down section.

If it is a thunderbolt version of the apple 27" display, you don't. The TB displays can only work with a TB source.
I also think you are out of luck with the mini-displayport versions of the apple 27" as well. This would imply converting an analog VGA output to a digital input of the 27". I suspect that there is not enough data supplied by VGA for that to work and I do not believe any adapters exist for this. -

I have a CFMAIL form i created on my developer machine at home (Widnows XP). The form let's me attach a file and send it using my server="mail.west.cox.net" which is my home email smtp. When I upload this program to my Linux Server I get a 500 error
