How do I cancel a pending download on itunes

I have a movie pending in my download that I want to cancel. How do I do this?

Once an item enters the download queue, the user cannot remove it. Either let it complete the download (easiest) or contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the Contact page and ask them if they'll remove the item(s) from your queue for you.

Okay i looked them up and YES they are compatible with macs. if it's formatted for windows then no it will not show up on the mac, you need to repartition it on windows or try and see if you can pick it up in Disk Utility on osX. So I have windows 7 and I've got the notification for the latest up date for iTunes and I tried to download it several times but always said error. So I decided to uninstall it and install iTunes again but now when I'm trying to reinstall it, my computer says it already exist in my computer when I've uninstalled iTunes and deleted all files linking to it and yet it still says that iTunes exist. What should I do now I cant live with out my iTunes???????

If you notice in area in iTunes on left hand side where all the fancy icons are, Look down this list you will see an area called Downloads if something is downloading. Click it so it is Blue

To start off, I absolutely do not understand iTunes. I feel that with every new "upgrade" it becomes more difficult to use.
We have 3 apple ID's for our home to make syncing easier and not have complications with devices. I have a window's computer with itunes which is "authorized computer" for all 3 apple ID's in family (mom, dad, child). We purchased a DVD with digital copy, installed and redeemed the code for the digital copy. However, it would not allow me to "redeem" on my child's apple ID. therefore, the digital copy went into my apple id. Now I can not sync the movie to my child's ipad/apple id. How can this be done? Please help! I know it can't be that hard, or is Apple just making iTunes worse and worse.

The movie is from iTunes. You would think that a download from iTunes to a MacBook could be watched on an HDTV using Apple TV without any headaches bit this does not appear to be the case.

          8.8.8.8
          8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.

and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?

1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.
