How do I change a project's name?

In the manual I followed the instructions below but it doesn't work. If I double click on a project name in the library, it just opens the project (in other words, the text of the name can not be edited). If I single click on the name of the project, it doens't do anything. The manual says I should be able to change the project name. Also, when I duplicate a project, it doesn't give me the ability to enter a new name. It just creates a new name and doesn't let me change it. Please advise. Thank you!
Rename a project
If the Project Library is not already open, click the Project Library button at the bottom-left corner of the Final Cut Pro main window.
Select a project, and click the project’s name to highlight it.
Type a new name in the project Name field, and press Return.
Depending on how you have the Project Library organized, the project’s position in the project list may change after you rename it.

Seems like sometimes it takes so long to render stuff in the background that you cant do much work till it is finished.

You can't change it in one step. Sign out of the one now on the Mac, sign onto the right one.

The apps are tied to the account from which they were purchased. If the apps were purchased from the previous owners account, then they would have to be updated from that account. you should not have these apps anyway. You need to buy your own.

The Home folder isn't named "Home." It is named for the user account it represents.
Who is your "supplier?" Sounds like they're not terribly bright.
Can you provide some details on why they "changed" it. Is this a brand new Mac? Were you having information transferred from another computer?
It sounds like you just need to create a new account and get rid of "Demo."
While logged into the "Demo" account, go to System Preferences in the Apple Menu.
Click on Users & Groups
If the padlock is locked, click on it and enter your password.
Click the + button at the bottom of the list of users. This will create a new account. Fill in the information you'd like to use for your account. The account name is what will be used for the "Home" folder.
Once created, select it from the list and check the box to "Allow user to administer this computer."
You can then log out of "Demo" and log in as your new user. If there is nothing in the Demo account that you want, you can delete it from the Users & Groups System Pref.

You can't change anything in iTunes: all infomation is carried in the feed, in this case in the 'itunes:author' tag. there will certainly be somewhere to enter it but if you can't find it you will need to contacts Libsyn; or quite possible Rob Walch, who works for them and posts here, will see this question.

Do you mean the username? The part before the @ in your iCloud email address?
If so, you can't change it. You can setup a completely new iCloud account under a different AppleID, or you can setup an email alias to your current iCloud account.
