How do i change account info on my iPhone ?
Hello,
How do i change account info on my iPhone. I have registered it using my girlfriend's iTunes as i have an old operating system on my Powerbook.
I would like everything in my own name now - is it possible to do this without iTunes ?
Furthermore will I retain all the apps I have downloaded when I change the account info ?
Any help very much appreciated.

If you open the App Store on the iPhone and go the the Featured page, then scroll down to the bottom of the page you should see the account that the App Store is logged into.
You can then hit the Sign Out Button, and then sign in to your account.

I am unable to change my iCloud email address on my iphone. It is changed and verified in my account and when I log in to Cloud on my PC its fine. However when I go through the settings on my iphone (3GS) it still coming up with my now inactive old email address.
How do I change it so that my iPhone is not showing my old email address and shows my new and verified email address? Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

Yes, you are doing the right step.
Insert the installer disk, and it will asked you to
restart, and it will restart from the disk.
After you choose the language, it will comes up with
installer screen, but don't choose install yet, go to
finder menu bar and select utilities > disk utilities
and erase and choose more option and check zero all
data.
After you done that (it will took hours to do so,..be
patience), then you can start to re-install the OS.

Hey There I didn't need to change it as it shows my correct name in my icloud account. The problem is on my Mac where it still shows my Full name as my partners name.
For eg. if I send an email from "Mail" on mac and I use my icloud account then the name that shows up is my partners name when the email is received. If I send an email from the Icloud Mail box that I log into on my browser then the name that shows up when the email is received is my name which is correct.
When I go into preferences in "Mail" on my Mac to change my name, the name is ghosted out and doesn't allow me to change it ! ? It is here that it still show my partners name ? -

If the size of the iPhone backup is putting you over the edge you have bigger problems than just this backup. You really need to solve the fundamental problem of your C: partition being too small. Even if you could solve the iPhone problem something else will come up soon that will again challenge your disk space. New drives can be had for well under $100, and even a 500 GB drive is only a little more than $100. This would be a good time to upgrade. You can even clone your current drive AND increase the partition size in one step with disk imaging software such as Acronis True Image.

I have a private CC subscription, which runs until the beginning of October. I have also a subscription through my work place which I want to continue using and cancel my private one. So how do I change account from one to another without causing any problems? I don't want to delete my Adobe ID.

You will need to sign out from the Creative Cloud desktop app and sign in again using the Adobe ID associated with your work membership.

Once your account details have been verified, you need a valid credit card accepted, then you will see a new option for payment appear called NONE, select this and the credit card details will be removed and the itunes store can be used.
But until you enter a valid credit card if it is asking you to do this, you will not be able to use that account until a valid credit card has been entered and validated. -

Thanks!No, they will all follow the default setting. If you want them all to fetch, for example every 15 minutes, then set it to 15 minutes in Fetch. I only mentioned the other if you wanted to leave one for manual. I have an account on my phone that is a POP account that I get mail at home from. I let my home computer get this mail, but when I am out of town, I pick it up with the iPhone. That one is set to manual.

Do you happen to have Dial Assist on? This is in Settings>Phone. This is what helps the phone identify international numbers when dialing, based on location. See if turning that off/on makes a difference. Unless you are making a number of international calls, I believe this can be left off. See the User Guide http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf Page 49 has info regarding Dial Assist.

I need it to change the Restrictions setting because all of a sudden my ITunes apps won't download when I sync my phone....just photos and music. Apps list is "grayed" out.
No, not on the home screen. I clicked on Settings + Restrictions (which is set at "Yes" and I need to change it to "No") and the number pad came up and wanted the password. My son says its the password that was put on originally when the phone was new (by his ex-wife who owned the phone at the time.) So now I cannot retrieve the original password from her and cannot change the Restrictions setting and therefore, cannot fix my ITunes/Apps problem. So aggravating! But thanks for your response!

How do you change the drive that my Iphone backs-up to on my computer? My first attempt to back-up and i received a pop-up stating that I do not have sufficient memory/space, knowing that I have over 120GB of free space...any ideas? thanks

iTunes stores your iPhone backups in the Library folder in your Home folder.
iTunes places the backup files in these places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Create and delete iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups in iTunes
