How do i change carrier on iphone 3? phone was unlocked
I have a iphone 3 that i want to switch over to another network. i have the sim from other network and the phone is unlocked, but cannot find how to change the carrier network over. anyone able to help?
You need to swap the SIM.
The SIM is stored in a little pop-out tray on the top (IIRC) of the iPhone.
There was a 'SIM Removal Tool' inside the box your iPhone came in but you may be like 99% of the rest of the population who discarded or otherwise lost the tool, in which case a pin or paperclip might be an alternative.
Pop out the tray (using either the Tool or a pin), swap the SIM and re-insert the tray and you should be good to go.

You will have to ask Sprint if you qualify for unlocking.
Sprint will only unlock for use with foreign carriers.

When my husband and I first bought our iPhones, I was the only one with an Apple ID (since he never used iTunes). He used my apple id to get apps. Now he has his own ID, but my apple ID email address keeps popping up on his phone when he tries to download an app. We do not want to have all of the same apps on our phones. How can we change the ID on his phone? I already tried going to Settings>iTunes &App Store> and changing the Apple ID to his account email and that did not solve the problem. To make things worse, I recently changed my Apple ID email address (without getting a new ID) and I do not remember my old password (and this is the address that is popping up on his phone). He does not have any music on his phone and all of the Apps that he has are free. Any help you could offer would be great (-:
All apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that bought them. To stop your id from popping up, you need to delete the apps on his phone, and then repurchase them under his account.

Try going into iTunes on your computer. Sign in with your AppleID and go to account. Under the Apple ID summary the Country/Region is listed. Change the country and sync your device.

Just go to "Settings > iCloud" scroll down and delete the account, if you don't want to use it on your phone anymore. After you delted it from your device you will be able to sign in again to use another one for iCloud.

Thank you...this was a suggestion from a blog regarding the Bluetooth problem that has resulted from the most recent upgrade---lost the audio capabilities suddenly in my car as have other people and there is nothing that Apple has had me do that has restored it!
