How do I change Dates on Photos

You could do this on old iphoto, not now.  The calendar on my camera was off and I want to adjust the photos according to the real date and time.  Any advice?

    Jon, Thanks for responding. I have only the "free" cloud uploads allowed on Revel, so they were uploaded automatically some time ago. When I first looked at them, they appeared to be a total disaster and I decided not to look again, and was happy to keep my images on my computer in Elements 9. But looking yesterday (someone had contacted me about images of my art), I found things looked better. The only problem is the sequencing of the images, and from what I read on a Community thread is that I have to change either the dates or the events. Well, today I saw how to change the dates on Adobe (only did it with one photo as a test), but that ____ so far___ has not changed the sequence in Revel. So, I will close and re-boot my computer to see if that makes a difference, and get righy back to you. Thanks again for responding!

    in iPhoto you can change the cover art of an album or journal (but apparently not of a shared photo stream?!).
    But how do I change the cover photo of a shared photo stream I created in the iOS 6 Photos app? It seems to be the first photo in that stream but I want to use another photo as the cover / key photo of that shared stream. Is it possible at all?

    Which iPhoto are you referring to?  iPhoto on your mobile device or iPhoto on your Mac?  If on your Mac you'll need to change the date of the photos in the Event via the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option:
    This will change the date of all selected photos in the Event and thus change the date range of the Event.
    Or you can use the Photos ➙ Adjust Date & Time menu option and change just one or two photos which can also change the date range of the Event.

    Hi,
    To get only the changed data in the ALV grid of a WD, you need to capture the "ON_DATA_CHECK" of the ALV grid.
    To this please do the following in the ALV initialization of the ALV table settings :
        lr_table_settings->set_data_check(
                IF_SALV_WD_C_TABLE_SETTINGS=>DATA_CHECK_ON_CELL_EVENT ).
    You may also do this:
        lr_table_settings->set_data_check(            IF_SALV_WD_C_TABLE_SETTINGS=>DATA_CHECK_ON_CHECK_EVENT)
    The above two ways would depend on when do you need to check for the changed data. If you want to check the data as soon as it is entered, then use the first method. Else, use the second method.
    You need to register an EVENT HANDLER for this event.(You may do this in your VIEW or Component Controller).
    In this Event handler, you would find an importing parameter R_PARAM which is a ref type of      IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_DATA_CHECK.
    The attribute T_MODIFIED_CELLS of this interface IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_DATA_CHECK will contain the modified cells of the ALV with the old & new values.

    If the photos were taken with a digital camera they already dated and time stamped. Select a photo and click in the "i" button in the lower left hand corner of the window:
    There you will see the date and time the photo was taken.

I thought I must have typed the date wrong. So I selected the photos and tried again. Nope, it wasn't me. The date on the photos was set back to some time in 1983. I tried several more time...     I had searched the forum and could not find anything. Maybe someone knows where is is.
    I fixed the photos the "brute force" way.
    I deleted them from the library.
    Changed the date on the files on a different computer and imported them again.
    However this seam like a crap way to fix a iPhoto issue.
    I hope that I don't need to fix the time on any more photos..
