How do I change file Type's

How can I change my projects that I've done in Printshop - placed them in a folder in my document file - the are in a: Type SIG File - I cannot open them... Would like to change these documents into a: "Adope Reader X File type. How can I do this?

Did you ever say what version of Premiere Elements that you are using and on what computer operating system the program is running?
For now, I am assuming that you are using Premiere Elements 11 Windows 64 bit.
The .prel file is just the project file whose Timeline needs to be exported either
a. file saved to the computer hard drive for an upload at the web site's home
or
b. a direct upload of the Timeline content to the sharing site provided for in Online/YouTube or Facebook or Vimeo with the preset offered.
If the Premiere Elements Online features do not meet your needs, an you want to export and save the file for upload to YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo, you check out the video sharing requirements of the site of interest

If you decide that you want the file involved to be .wmv, then you visit Publish+Share/Computer/Windows Media and set the export settings there under the Advanced Button of the preset.

Many of these sites, convert your upload to flash video. YouTube does.

I used to use Preview to change quickly change a lot of PNGs to either JPEGs or PDFs but with the introduction of versions auto save etc there no "save as" in the File menu. Changing file type when saving doesn't work

How can I fix the problem where, if I change file type when saving, eg from tiff to jpg, the 'jpg' suffix is not appended in the save window? It remains as tiff. This has only started happening recently.

I have a G5 iSight running OSX 10.4.11 with all the latest upgrades. The problem is about a week old.
Yesterday I did a clean install of everything (not because of this problem) which I'm sure would have cleared the problem. But I was playing around with importing all my old PS and InDesign settings via copying the old preference files (and others), and the tiff/jpeg problem has reappeared. Seems to me like one of the files I copied, contains the problem. I suspect the only way out of this is to reload PS. But I was hoping it might be as simple as deleting a certain preference file.

How to get the file type of current opening document (e.g., tif, jpeg, png) using JavaScript with Photoshop CS3.
I am using file object the open the files one by one in the folder (the files sometimes don't have the extensions).
If the current document is in tiff format then I need to convert to 8-bit, if its an Jpg image then needs to ignore the file.

Do you really need to know the file type? What about just checking the bit depth?

There are many ways of uploading any file type to R3, provided it depends on how do you want to store it.
In general there are two easy ways, one is using the upload UI element, you can specify a path in the server and have configured it for all files and store the file directly in the file directory of the server.
Secondly, you need to do some work on the sap side, like creating a simple rfc, which will take up the file content as a 'binary' (raw) data type and store in the database with the relevant parameters. you rfc will take / get the update from the webdynpro UI element ( you need to do create a model ..context / binding..etc ). The whole file will be stored in binary form.
Hope this gives you some picture of how to go about on it.

i think u asking about the , if the material is excisable , then it will ask for material type , not all material type , onle like asset , raw material, consumable, non cenvatable , finished oods and tools.
There i hope its standard SAP system setting , because some time the if do consumable procurement with excisable material .
While doing Gr or J1IEX system will consider that material is capital item, that we cancahge to raw material and we can utilize the cenvate credit in the same year .
so it cannot be hide or making gray mode is difficult in practical.

Part of it - in my way of doing is
Roxio Toast™ Pro incl BD-component.
• Burn short AVCHD - on standard DVDs (20-30 minutes at HD quality) - NEED Blu-Ray player to be viewed
or BD-burner and disks - for full Blu-Ray Disks (not got to this yet)
I think that saving as .mpeg4 H.264 and save on USB-memory to be put into PlayStation3 also keep high quality playback.

here i had a problem like , we know when we try to open .csv file by default it wll open in excel , because the csv file type was associated with excel this we can see in mycomputer->tools->folder options->file types and here we even have the possiblity of changing the association.
anyway, my question is that is there any way of changing this association like csv to oepn in wordpad through java program

Take a look at the file filtering section in the InDesign CS3 sample script ImageCatalog.jsx to see how to look for file types. I'm assuming that you're using InDesign CS3, and that you're using the Mac OS--you didn't say.

I'd like to figure out how to change the application associated with a given file type in SAP. I want to open a .DOC file, but I am using OpenOffice instead of MS Word. I have .DOC file type already associated with OpenOffice in Windows XP, but SAP doesn't seem to recognize that association. I am using SAP ERP 6.0. Any ideas?

MS Word is mandatory. You will not be able to work using Open Office in SAP.
