need to print a document from numbers 09

    From the Help system:
To set a sheet's page orientation:
Click View in the toolbar and choose Show Print View.
Click Inspector in the toolbar, clich the Sheet Inspector buton and click the appropriate page orientation button in the Page Layout area of the pane.
You can also click on a page orientation button at the bottom left of the canvas.
    Best of luck.

  • How to: Rotate pages from Portrait to Landscape using Acrobat Pro XI?

As title states need to know how to do this on a multi-page document.
E.g. out of a 10 page document, pages 4-7 need to be changed from portrait to landscape.  Note must keep the document scaling once pages 4-7 are changed to landscape.
Tried Tool > Rotate and it does not work.  Rotating 90 degrees or 180 degrees do not present the document in landscape format. Researching the forums does not provide a solution.
Can someone help provide specific steps for Acrobat Pro XI?  Thanks!

Never heard of a this issue. Perhaps we are expecting different things. Here is a portrait page:
and I apply Rotate Clockwise 90 degrees. Here is the result:
Document scaling is preserved. (Of course 180 degrees does not change to portrait, but it makes it upside down).
This to me has worked as expected. Were you expecting something different? For example, were you expecting the effect you would have in Word if you changed page setup from portrait to landscape, where the contents would not rotate, but would reformat to fit the new page - which certainly isn't what happens in PDF.

My 4S wont change from portrait to landscape when I turn it sideways.  This feature worked fine for years until about three weeks ago.  How do I get it to work again?

Swipe UP from the bottom edge of the screen to see the Control Center, tap the top right icon next to the Crescent to lock/unlock screen orientation.

Any ideas on how to improve the speed ?

    Hi rodtheprod,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the issue you are describing. If a movie from the iTunes Store supports multiple languages, they can usually be changed as outlined in the following article:
    iTunes: Language settings for video
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5562
If this is not possible and no changes have been made to the country settings for the iTunes Store, you may want to try redownloading the movie (if it is still available):
    Download past purchases

  • Changing from Portrait to Landscape having completed report

    Hi
Im using 9i to build a report which the customer now wants landscape.
I have changed the system parameter ORIENTATION and set the header and trailer pages to landscape and 11 by 8.5. Set the main page orientation to Lanscape and width to 11 but the height wont let me change to 8.5. Okay the message is obvious I need to make the items fit on a lanscape page - but how? In the portrait page my report spanned breaks and I set the page protect flags. I presume spacing at increments of 8.5 is just not enough. Any advice?

    Sorted it myself.
Margin and its items need to change to allow for the size difference - I forgot this.

  • How do I switch from Portrait to Landscape in one document?

I have to put spreadsheets in a business plan and am wondering how to switch between the text pages which are portrait orientation to the spreadsheets which are landscape.

    Hi skubadiv,
    Welcome to Pages discussions.
Be aware the folks on these Discussion boards are, as yourself end users not Apple employees. Apple doesn't monitor these discussions.
Your comment "hmmmm.....will Apple ask us to pay for upgrade when they come out with this feature for iWork's09?". The short answer yes.
Developers don't work "Pro Bono", of course Apple will require us to pay for the upgrade however, whether it includes enhancements you desire is a different question. There have perhaps been hundreds of requested enhancements for the iWork suite. We may see many we requested, and we may see some nobody even thought of requesting. That's life in the software lane.
For enhancement requests send feedback directly to the Pages team: at the top of your screen to the right of the blue Apple please click Pages > Provide Pages Feedback. Explain in detail what your enhancement request is. This makes your request known to that team directly; don't expect to hear back from them. I've sent many as well.
Let's hope the next version of iWork incorporates many of the requested enhancements.
Thank you in advance for doing that.
Again, welcome to Pages Discussions, have fun here.
    Sincerely,
    RicD

  • How do I get my Fluid Grid Layout page to resizes from portrait to landscape for iPhones?

Starting in portrait on my iPhone 4, the fluid grid layout page does not resize when I turn to landscape.  After I refresh / resize to fit the page on landscape and then turn the iPhone to portrait, the page resizes just fine.  Everything seems to be working just fine on the desktop, ignoring IE.  Could it be my media query tags?
If anyone knows a solution, it would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

  • How do I switch from portrait to landscape of iPhoto pictures?

The printer presets in iPhoto are all set for portraits and I have several pictures that will look much better in landscape.  However, there is no button I can find to switch the setting nor any setting choice I can make anywhere I have found.  Any suggestions.

Is the image a landscape oriented photo, i.e. the width is larger than the height? What paper size is selected in the print window? If you click on the Custom layout you can set a custom size to print.

How can I change the page orientation when printing from portrait to landscape?

By setting the print size  --  ie rather than 6x4 use 4x6 - and to avoid unwanted cropping you need to crop the photo to the target ratio before printing ( you can undo the crop after printing if you do not want it to be permanent)

I think you have to sign into your Amazon Kindle Account, find the book in your archive and delete it there.  Otherwise you can delete it from the device and leave it in the archive, should you want to look at it again.

You will have to use a video editor that will rotate it. I don't know which one will do it; you'll have to search the app store or maybe some of the other users here will know of one.

You need to do the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide, Appendix B.
    Restart phone
    Reset phone
Restore in iTunes using a backup
Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup
If restoring as new doesn't help, there is a hardware failure in the phone that needs evaluation by Apple.

Swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to activate Control Center. The orientation lock is the last icon on the right on the top row. Looks like a padlock with a circular arrow around it. White is on, black is off.
