I didn't have a password set up only passcode, how do I change the icon back to passcode?

I am migrating from IE to Firefox. So far, I really like the overall look and feel of the interface, and I like the ability to create it to look and function the way I want it to.
I was hoping to be able to customize my bookmarks by creating my own Icon files as I have in Internet Explorer. For example, in IE I can right click on the bookmark in the Favorites toolbar, select Properties from the pop-up menu, then select the Change Icon button, and I can select any icon file which I have created. The graphic then appears in the bookmark. I love it! Can I do this in Firefox?

Firefox doesn't have that feature by default, you can add that feature with this add-on.

How do I change icons to text in the Control Panel?

Hello,
I'm trying to follow along with a video at Lynda.com on AI CS6.
However, in the video, Deke McClelland is showing the TEXT "Align" on the top Control Panel.
On my screen, it's not a text, but a small icon. When I click it, I don't get the same options he does.
I've searched and searched and can't find how to get MY screen to look like his. I have even tried to "Reset Essentials" (the workspace he's using) and still no luck.
Please help.

The align panel in the control bar is dependent upon the setting. For example, if you have one object selected and align is set to "Align to Selection" you will only see an icon. However, click the icon and change it to "Align to Artbaord" and you should see all the align options.
I think I may have had the order reversed a bit previously. On the smallest screens only a text link is shown. My guess would be the lynda videos are often shot with a laptop and a small screen.
As far as I'm aware, you can not change whether the Control Bar shows icons, or text links short of reducing your monitor resolution.

I have a number of links on my Bookmarks Toolbar for quick access. Each of them used to have an icon associated with it, but now one icon is missing. The link still works OK, so it's just a matter of not being able to spot it quickly with the icon.

Do a get info on the folder you want to change. Make sure your user name has read/write permissions and then you should be able to change the icon at the top.

Seems a fairly simple question I can't seem to find an answer to. One used to be able to change these in the normal way, by holding down an icon until the screens starts shaking then dragging into the dock. It seems now though in iOS 7 that one no longer has control over what's in the dock. Am I missing something?

I'm glad you've got it going again!
It's good to have a Passcode. You don't have to make it real complicated if you're worried about forgetting it again. Just use something you know you'll always remember. If you do want some real good security (on your Passcode) you can make it more complicated, but you don't have to. You can make the Passcode a long string of numbers. But, then it does get to be a hassle and then you also run the chance of easily forgetting it ... :-) ...

All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.
