How do I change inches to pixels in 3D properties panel?

How do I change inches to pixels in 3D properties panel?

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.  Here is what I am working with (attached). I
cannot get document sizes to change to pixels.  PS Element 9 is the
program.  I know they change, because my computer broke and this is a new
one.  But on the old one someone showed me how to change it and I've tried
to remember what they said, but it's not coming to me.  I appreciate any
help you can give me.
Thanks.
Jan

  • How do I change icons to text in the Control Panel?

    Hello,
I'm trying to follow along with a video at Lynda.com on AI CS6.
However, in the video, Deke McClelland is showing the TEXT "Align" on the top Control Panel.
On my screen, it's not a text, but a small icon. When I click it, I don't get the same options he does.
I've searched and searched and can't find how to get MY screen to look like his. I have even tried to "Reset Essentials" (the workspace he's using) and still no luck.
    Please help.
    Thank you.

The align panel in the control bar is dependent upon the setting. For example, if you have one object selected and align is set to "Align to Selection" you will only see an icon. However, click the icon and change it to "Align to Artbaord" and you should see all the align options.
I think I may have had the order reversed a bit previously. On the smallest screens only a text link is shown. My guess would be the lynda videos are often shot with a laptop and a small screen.
As far as I'm aware, you can not change whether the Control Bar shows icons, or text links short of reducing your monitor resolution.

  • How can I change the order of list item properties in the alert email sent to the assigned-to owner?

    Using SharePoint 2010 Foundation.
I have an Issue list configured to send an email to the assigned-to owner (List Settings | Advanced settings | E-Mail Notification = Enabled). I have since added columns to the Issue list. All of the data from my columns appear in the email alert but the
newest additions show up at the bottom of the list in the alert email instead of in the column order I have defined (List Settings | Issue Content Type | Column Order). However, if I click the "Mobile View" in the alert email I received, the Mobile
View does have the items listed in the column order.
Why are these different and how do I get the email alert to match my column order?

Actually the view which you recieve requires the column ordering to be the way you prefer. So whatever is your default view, change the column orders and then check the email alerts.

  • How do you change the capture dimensions in the Get Panel Image VI

My objective is to capture the front panel image to a JPEG file. I want to be able to alter the dimensions of Front Panel Image so I can exclude certain areas of the front panel. I am using the GET PANEL IMAGE.VI and the WRITE JPEG FILE.VI. I have tried using a Cluster structure from the bounds property of the GET PANEL IMAGE.VI to feed into the "rect" property of the WRITE JPEG FILE.vi however as soon as I alter the dimensions from the original dimensions it fails to save the panel image to file. Is this actually possible, or does LabVIEW restrict users from altering the panel capture dimensions? Or is this a known bug in LabVIEW v6.0?

    Hi,
Here is a zip file containing two VIs.
'Change Control Value.vi' when run will load the VI 'Demo.vi'. It will alter its size and the run demo.vi.
On the front panel or demo.vi, press the Update button and the image will be written to c:\temp.
All a bit crude but the mechanism works in labview 5.1.1. (Unfortunately I haven't got version 6.0.2 installed yet.)

    Ray.

  • How do I remove old image buttons from Properties panel?

    Hi,
I have been working out how to use Image Buttons in Captivate 6 and have created loads which now appear in the Properties Panel.
How do I remove unused image buttons from the Properties Panel?
    Thanks

    Hi there
When you look at the Properties panel, you see ALL available images for the buttons. (Assuming that you are referring to to the stock images supplied by Captivate)
Is this the list you are trying to clear?
If so, it's the same list you see with any project Captivate creates.

  • How do I change the image size by pixels

In the older version of photoshop you could change the image size and change it by pixels independently. With photoshopcc if I change the width the height changes. How do you change the 2 values independently to get the desired size?

You'll want to use the Camera icon to upload your screenshot images when you reply.
But jml007 has the answer I think you want. Change the units from inches to pixels and click on the chain link to turn it off and enter your W H values independently.
Mark his answer as correct if this solves your issue.

  • How do I read inches instead of pixels, in the develop module

How do I read inches instead of pixels, in the develop module. I am not discussing resolution. When I crop, I need to see the numbers in inches, not pixels.
I am not exporting to anything. From the develop module I go on to the print module. However I want to see inches, not pixels, in the develop module.
I am not cropping to an aspect ratio. I am cropping to a given size, in inches, just as if I was in PS CS 3.
    LR 2.0
Mac OS 10.4.11, G5, dual 2.3; MBP OS 10.5.4,; Epson Pro9600 c ultrachrome matte black.
    Thanks in advance.
    Nancy

    >Instead of the image in pixels, why can't I read it in inches? Physical size in pixels is staring at me, why can't inches be there instead?
Because it is not there. The size in inches ONLY becomes real at print or at export time and can and will change depending on what you do there. Before that you are looking at a number of pixels in a computer.
    >I need to set these values in the develop module, just as if I was setting them in PS CS 3.
That does not make any sense. There is no need to set this in develop at all. Lightroom will scale to your final size at export/Print/web/slideshow. Not in develop. There you are working with the RAW data at its native size.

  • How Do I Change Picas to Inches?

How do I change a document that was set up in picas to
    inches?

    > How do I change a document that was set up in picas to
    inches?
The should be dropdown menu in the bottom of the screen. Or
at least it is where I have it - do not know where the deafault
    place is.
This is what FreeHand Help file, accesible by pressing F1
(Win), has to say about units.
    Setting units of measure
FreeHand offers precision and flexibility for entering
numeric values and displaying the rulers and grid:
You can choose from points, picas, inches, decimal inches,
millimeters, kyus, centimeters, or pixels to display in the rulers,
    panels, and dialog boxes.
You can override the default unit of measure in numeric text
boxes. If you override the default unit of measure, FreeHand
automatically converts the value to the default unit of measure.
For example, entering 125m in a text box yields 125 millimeters
instead of 125 points; the 125-millimeter value is automatically
    converted to 354.3307 points.
You can enter mathematical equations and combine units of
measure in numeric text boxes to have FreeHand automatically
    calculate values for you.
You can define custom units of measure equivalent to other
units of measure, including meters, feet, miles, ciceros, and
didots. For more information, see Using the rulers.
To set the unit of measure for an entire document:
    1
Click the Units pop-up menu in the Status toolbar (Windows)
or in the bottom of the Document window (Macintosh).
    2
    Select a unit of measure.
This setting affects almost all numeric text boxes except
the text-related settings based on points. For example, if the
Units pop-up menu is set to inches, entering 12 in a font size text
box yields 12-point type regardless of the unit of measure.
To set a unit of measure other than the default in a numeric
    text box:
    1
Enter a numeric value followed by the unit--i for inches, p
for picas, pt for points, m for millimeters, c for centimeters, and
    x for pixels.
For example, enter 7p for 7 picas.
    2
Press Enter (Windows) or Return (Macintosh).
To specify a value using mathematical functions:
    1
Enter numeric values and create an equation using any of the
    following mathematical symbols:
    + (addition)
    – (subtraction)
    * (multiplication)
    / (division)
Multiplication and division operations are evaluated before
addition and subtraction if you combine these operations.
You can combine different units in an equation. For example,
if the default unit of measure in the Units menu is set to points,
    entering 4*50-49, 71+80, or 2i + p7 in a text box yields 151
points. If you enter an invalid equation or unit, FreeHand tries to
    resolve it or enters 0.
    2
Press Enter (Windows) or Return (Macintosh).

  • I live in the UK : How do I change the unit of measurement from inches to metric in iPhoto

I live in the UK : How do i change the default unit of measurement from inches to metric?

    Terence
Thanks for your answer to my question. I have tried what you suggested and 'metric' was already set as the default so unfortunately, it has not solved my problem which is when I set the dimensions for the print size before printing, I have to change from 'inches' to 'cms' for each photo every time. I was hoping that I would be able to set 'cms' as the default.
    Hope you can help me.

How do I change page setup print margins from Milileters to inches?

This has to do with selecting the paper size in the print setup. If you select a (European) paper format that uses millimeters then the margins are in millimeters. To get inches just select an American paper format.

  • How do I change pixel size?

How do I change pixel size?

Technically, you can't change the size of an image screen pixel. You can use resampling to change the number of pixels representing a current screen pixel (upsample means more pixels are used to represent a pixel, downsample means fewer).
You can change the size of an image pixel when it's printed by modifying the DPI (dots per inch). The bigger a pixel is, the fewer will fit in an inch, and vice versa.
