How Do I Change My Forum Password;  How Do I Stay Signed In?

I posted about these issues in the Community Suggestion area of the board about two days ago, but have gotten no response.
Does anyone know how to change your password to this forum?  I've searched high and low for a link, but can't find it.
Also, most other forums I use allow me to stay signed-in, either permanently or for an extended period of time.  This forum requires I go to a separate sign-in page each and every time I visit the forum.  Real PITB.  Is there a way to stay signed in like one can on the other bazillion forums on the Internet?
Sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I'm hoping someone here knows the answers.
Thanks,
Rich

I looked and could not see  how to change a password but here is an idea.
Next time you log in use the WRONG password a couple times.  Then when they say, "look here dippy", did you forget your password, ask then to send it.  Usually when this happens you have to pick a new one.
I would like to stayed signed in too but have not found out how to do it.

  • How do I stay signed in to Facetime?

Recently Facetime has been asking me for my Apple password the first time incoming calls are received after starting the computer.  Until a couple of days ago, FT would always be automatically signed in, but now before answering a call I must input my password.
How do I stay signed in?

@Linc, the answer gets a bit involved.  Sorry in advance.
Last week I spent an hour on the phone with Apple tech support because my computer suddenly and inexplicably cut off my access to iCloud.  As an aside, I could still sign into iCloud via the web site and all my peripheral devices (iPhone, iPad).  After much trouble shooting it came down to rebuilding a new keychain.  Until that point I had always disabled iCloud keychain, preferring my 1Password instead.
After your question above, I noticed that iCloud keychain is checked under the System Preferences.  Selecting the Options tab reveals a window with a check mark beside the "Allow approving with security code," and another tab to change that code.  I don't remember ever making such a code.
I'm a bit wary of deselecting the iCloud keychain for fear of reproducing the previous problem.
    Suggestions?

  • How can I stay signed in to Hotmail on the web

I am using an Ipad 4 and every time I close Safari and reopen It, I have to enter my username and password, and there is no box to tick to stay signed in.  I am more comfortable using hotmail through the web based platform rather than through the email app, so please don't suggest using that instead.
Does anyone know what's going on and how I can stay signed in?

Unless hotmail has an app or mobile interface (usually m.hotmail.com is the naming convention sites use) if there's no 'remember me' tick box, then there isnt' a way.
The lack of that box could be a security feature, but more likely that it's java based, which isn't supported on the iPad.
Have you tried to access it via another browser? There's some free ones out there that have different levels of functionality than Safari.

  • How do I stay signed into iCloud in Google Chrome on my PC?

How do I stay signed into iCloud in Google Chrome on my PC?
I use the iCalendar that comes with the iPad.  At home on my desktop PC I access iCloud through Google Chrome.  All appointments at home get entered on the PC, throughout the day.  I like to keep this page open but it invariably gets closed down, and each time I open it I am required to enter username and password, despite the fact I always check the optional box, "Always stay signed in".  Frequently I need instant access to this calendar.  I also have Last Pass installed, but it doesn't see pop-up sign-ins.  Anyone have suggestions?

Do you mean on the website at www.iCloud.com, or in the iCloud contol panel at System Preferences>iCloud

  • How do I stay signed in at the Itunes Store?

    Hello,
I have a question. I used to have no problems having my ITunes Store account automatically log me in. However, ever since I received the update for a new version, it now keeps me asking to manually log in. This is very annoying! How do I get the ITunes Store to automatically log me in every time I open up both the program and the store? Any tips or advice on how to find this solution and fix it?

  • How can I stay signed in on Google?

Google is my home page and the little box to "stay signed in" is checked, but I have to enter my name and password every time. I read the articles about cookies but don't understand them. Can someone explain in simple English?

Do you stay logged in to Google as long as you are using the same window, but not if you access Google in a different window? That might indicate you are using the private browsing feature. This article has more information: [[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit]].

  • How do I stay signed in on this forum?

Do I always need to sign in or is there a way to automatically sign in every time I showed up to this forum? Something like Google chrome that remembers passwords would be great!

Saw your thread about fonts... Been using Suitcase for about 15 years, great app. Best thing is not to add to many fonts to the OS. Use an app like Suitcase and have the fonts in a folder either in your documents folder or external hard drive. Suitcase only links to the fonts...
I also use only external fonts and never add anything to the OS folders. And when I load a font collection into Font Book (I need to browse my fonts somehow), I deactivate all of them and then only use a few that I need. But the main problem now is that Font Book just shows fonts as Active, although they are all really not active, and I cannot manage my fonts any more. The other problem is that Snow Leopard cannot read Lithuanian non-unicode fonts with the normal keyboard layout and that's something that probably cannot be fixed. It all makes me want to go back to Leopard again...
I will try to use Suitcase trial and see if it makes my life any better...

  • Not able to locate link HERE, in this mozilla firefox FORUM, to change my password HERE. how do i change my mozilla help forum password (only that one)?

i wish to be a part of this mozilla firefox help community forum. that's what i call it: a help forum. but it's sorta kinda counterintuitive, wouldn't you agree (?) that i am not able to change my own password, here, on this forum.
do you know how i can change my password for THIS mozilla firefox help web site? there is no link that directs me to that particular thing. it is not available under any of the links that are related to my profile. if i cannot log on in the future, then what good is it to join?

If you want to change the login password for this site (the Firefox help/support forum), do the following:
*hover the mouse pointer over your ID/name at the top of this page while logged in
*a drop down will appear; click on the "EDIT PROFILE" option
*a page will open; there is an option to change your password
**you must enter your old password then enter your new password '''''twice''''', then click "Change my Password" at the bottom
If that does not work for you visit https://support.mozilla.org/forums/contributors and post a new question there with "[ATTN: Admin:]" at the beginning of the question title, to get the attention of an administrator, explain the problem, and await a reply.
