I shared my apple ID across family devices and now want to seperate them. I cannot get the iCloud account on my iPhone5 iOS 7 to change. I changed the messenger and face time ID, but the iCloud account is still grayed out so I cannot alter it.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I have a business iPhone 5S on which the iTunes account is associated with the Apple ID I signed up for using my business e-mail. I signed in to iCloud with a personal Apple ID account to get some of my personal music onto the device. I have been trying to find out how to change the iCloud account to my business Apple ID. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth if I want. I have read several posts that advise deleting the iCloud account, but I still have personal devices I would like to continue to use with this Apple ID and iCloud account. The extent of the deletion is not addressed.
If I use the delete account under iCloud, does that delete it from the device, or does it delete it permanently? Tried adding my business email to the iCloud account, but it won't let me because it is associated with another Apple ID (duh). Am I stuck here?

Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

I know i'm not the only one who ha the same prb out there, and I read a lots of stuff in the different discussions, but I want to make sure, so let me ask:
my wife and I share the same store account, and somehow when I set up our two iPhones, her iCloud account got attached to my Apple ID. Which obviously is not good, since we don't want to share all contacts and appointments, etc...
So, I just what to change her iCloud account from my apple ID to hers. How do I do that?
I am thinking to delete that account (settings->icloud->delete account), but i want to make sure this is not gonna wipe out all her data.
Also, I read somewhere on the Apple website that once you have attached your device to an iCloud account, you have to wait 90 days before to be able to change account. Is that true? Or deleting account will do it?

I can't seem to verify my icloud account... it says under the icloud settings on my iphone (3gs) that I must check my email for instructions on how to verify...the problem is that somehow, and I have absolutely no idea how, but my mother's email is listed as the one to check for instructions, even though my icloud account is under my email address. I deleted the icloud acount and put my email and apple id account information when it prompted and yet it hasn't changed the instructions. This does not make sense to me nor do I understand where my mother's email came from, we do not share an apple account or anything of the sort. I want to reinstall the previous IOS because since updating to the latest one my 3GS is much less responsive and the my battery dies twice as fast, I realize the newest software is ideal for the newest iphone models but the ill effects it has had on my 3gs are much worse than I expected. I just dont want to lose anything on my phone in the process of going backwards software-wise. Any clarification would be appreciated thanks.

I am hoping someone will help me. I have an invalid icloud account on my iphone. The email address is no longer valid and I have no idea what the password might have been. My current apple id and password don't match the icloud account currently on my iphone. I can't even restore my phone because it requires that I know the password to the icloud account which no longer exists so I'm trapped. What can I do?

There is no harm in him trying the first step, even if he's tried it once before. Many people accidentally mistype their password. What's the harm in him trying again, even if he's already tried it once? It takes less time to try it again than it took you to type up your response. Additionally, I like to include all possibly relevant steps, especially when the relevant troubleshooting article lists that step.
Second, you don't have to verify the old email address for this procedure. As soon as you change the primary email address on your Apple ID, it's changed in the system. Once you've fixed the issue, and changed back to the new email, that one you'll have to verify... and the OP never said anything about not having access to the new, current email address, did he?

Bad idea.
What information do you want to share, exactly? You can share contacts, reminders, and calendars with other iCloud users without the need for both of you to use the same iCloud account. You can authorize both phones to use apps purchased under the same Apple ID without sharing an iCloud account.
Sharing an iCloud account is a bad idea in general. There is too much opportunity for someone to damage or delete data that will affect both.

I then deleted the account, making sure I backed up the photos in the photostream first. I then went back into iCloud on my iPhone 3gs and my new email address appeared. You can't change it, only delete it. Don't worry, if you delete the account, nothing will be deleted from the phone, only the cloud. After you set up the new account, you can re-sync everything to the cloud.

My iPhone and iPad use 2 distinct iCloud accounts, as a by product of the mobile me exit. Now I want to sync these 2 devices, so they need to use the same iCloud account. It does delete it from you iPad but not from the iCloud account. If you want to migrate the data to a different iCloud account first go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad and turn all synced data to Off, when prompted choose to keep the data on your iPad. When everything is turned off you can scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up the other iCloud account on your iPad and turn syncing back on for contacts, calendars, etc. When prompted choose merge to upload the data and merge it with any data on this account.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.
