How do I change my iCloud account to my new appleID account? The original email account no longer exists.

Helpme. My email address for icloud no longer exists. I need to wtich it to the new apple ID account on icloud but its faded in Gray on my phone.

Hello Sfloyd003,
The following article details the process of changing the signed in iCloud account on your device.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

  • I changed my email address and now cannot play items purchased with previous email. This only became a problem after I got a new computer. The original email address no longer even exists. How can I access these hundreds of items?

I changed my email address a few years ago. I did not have any problems after this change until I got a new computer. Now I cannot play items that were purchased under the previous email. I entered the password that I used and it doesn't recognize it. I tried "forgot your password" in every combination possible. I never received any emails at the old email address. Now the old email address no longer even exists. How can I access these hundreds of items?

The old email address may well still be valid as your iTunes AppleID, however if you have no other email associated with that ID you clearly won't get any automated emails to it.
I still use an old defunct email for my iTunes AppleID.

You may want to try to manage the old ID here:

Use the original email address and password.

  • How do I delete an ICloud acct on IPhone when the old email address no longer exists?

I changed my Apple ID password due to a phishing email and it started a downward spiral of issues.  My original ICloud email address no longer exists. I have tried to sign out/in in itunes that worked but I cannot delete the ICloud account because the field is not editable for apple ID. I tried setting it back to the old email address to turn off Find my IPhone but it will nopt allow because the email address cannot be verified because it no longer exists.

To Delete an iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.  You should then be able to delete the old account.  When done, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

how do you reset your security questions when the rescue email address no longer exists?

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

  • TS3988 how to i change my icloud id to my new apple id without losing everything

how do i change my icloud account name to my new apple id without losing my pics

    Welcome to the Apple community.
You will need to save your photo stream photos, before you change your iCloud account.
Navigate to the photo stream album and into the photo sheet view (the one with all the thumbnails), click on the small rectangle with the arrow on it, in the top right corner of the screen and then tap each photo you wish to save. Once you have selected all the photos you want to save, tap the save button at the bottom of the screen and choose a new album to save them into.
Once you have done all this, you can delete your current iCloud account and enter your new one.

  • How can I change my Apple ID that is set up with an old email that does not exist anymore

I set up an Apple ID years ago with a hotmail email account. I also deleted that hotmail email account years ago. I now have a gmail email. I cannot back up anything to icloud because of my apple id that is connected to the hotmail email account that does not exist anymore. To change my ID, apple sends a verification email to my old hotmail account which i cannot access, and it also says my gmail account is my rescue account, so I wouldn't be able to change it to my gmail account anyway.  Any ideas? I'd like my ID to be associated with my one and only current gmail email account. I have a lot of songs that I've spent a lot of money on over the years that I don't want to lose.

  • How can I verify my iCloud account if I can not access the primary email account associated with my Apple ID?

The email address I had set for my Apple ID when I had originally signed up was through my college.  I have been out of college now for a few years and the email account has been deleted. I was trying to set up iCloud on my iPad and iPhone but it says I need to access the account to verify through email.  I have tried to change my Apple ID email to my current email address but it tells me I can not do this either because that email is set up as my rescue email.  How can I change my primary email address for my Apple ID or get my iCloud verified in this situation I'm in?

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your account'. You will be able to change the non-Apple email address you use as a login. You will then need to log out and in again on all your devices.

  • How do I change reel settings on duplicate clip w/o affecting the original?

I'm trying to copy/duplicate uncaptured clips and just change the reel setting. Whenever I do, the reel setting is changed for both the duplicate and the original clip. Is there any way to unlink the reel settings on the clips?
I synced timecode on three cameras and would like to copy the clips I've logged and just change the names and reel settings, so I can get all three cameras.

I think there may be more than one way to skin a cat and perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my directions.
+I'm trying to *copy/duplicate uncaptured clips and just change the reel setting*.+
+I synced timecode on three cameras and would like to copy the clips I've logged and *just change the names and reel settings*, so I can get all three cameras.+
When I read this I get the impression names and reel numbers need to be changed on new uncaptured clips.
When I do a duplicate as new master clip I can immediately change the name. If I make the new clip offline(leave media on drive) I can change the reel number. I can do this by right-clicking on the reel number. Any other tape numbers logged show up in that list.
If a tape reel # hasn't been logged I can do this by logging a dummy clip with the cam2 or 3 reel # and then those reel numbers will show up when I right-click on any clip's reel numbers.
    What else am I missing?

  • Emails in ffox inbox post Feb 2011 are unreadable appearing as "alien" language changing the coding results in some not all change to a computer code format with bits of the original email sometimes appearing but often the bits of other emails appear

I use Windows 7 (licensed), Norton 360 (licensed). No viruses have been indicated. But I notice the corrupt emails are "spreading" to earlier dates and to other mailboxes in other accounts.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app.  I am certain other applications also need this information.  Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information.  Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. Thank you!

  • I had to replace my hard drive, and I don't have access to my sync code to get my bookmarks into my new browser. How do I get my sync code if I don't have the original email containing it?

I had to replace my hard drive and need to get my bookmarks from my sync account, but I don't have access to my sync code. How do I get it or can you send it to me again. It was in my email on my bad hard drive. Thanks.

Where do I get the specially assigned serial number?????  I don't want to have to purchase anything since I already bought the CS2 and I don't need a newer version.
Follow the prompts at the link provided by Ned.
Everything's there including your new CS2 non-activation download file and your new non-activation serial number.
It's free for existing owners of CS and CS2. Nothing more to purchase.

  • HT204053 I recently changed ny Apple ID but it did not transfer over to my iCloud account. How do I change my iCloud ID? The login popup for iCloud will not go away so I cannot get into my iPad since it pops up as soon as I turn the device on.

I recently changed my Apple ID but it did not transfer over to my iCloud account. How do I change my iCloud ID? The password for the new Apple ID does not work since the iCloud default user name is imbedded in the login box. The login popup for iCloud will not go away so I cannot get into my iPad since it pops up as soon as I turn the device on and re-occurs every few seconds.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPad on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How do I change my iCloud account ID?

How do I change my iCloud account ID? I have an old email address (previously mine) set as the ID, but all other logins like iTunes, messages etc are my new email address! All changed a couple of weeks ago. When I try to change the iCloud account ID, it is not changeable, but greyed out. I've googled it, but can't seem to get a decent answer, and I don't want to risk loosing everything on my account by deleting it!

Deleting the account only deletes it from the device, not from iCloud.  You will, however lose photo stream photos older than 30 days unless you save them to your camera roll before deleting the account.
However, with iOS 7 you will need the password for the old account in order to delete it.  To fix this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
