How do I change my iCloud email account and can't remember my password

My iCloud account is in my old email account which I need to change, but have forgotten my password. I can not get in to my old emails as this account was sabotaged and now closed.

Unless you have a specific reason to share an account for iCloud, you are generally better using seperate ID's. This doesn't stop you using a shared ID for iTunes so that you can continue to use your shared content.
However, there is also no reason you shouldn't be able to update your ID details on your husbands phone if you do decide to share an ID for iCloud.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Can you share an icloud account with another iphone user? Both my husband and myself share the same itunes acocunt and so when I set up icloud I just shared this too and intially it worked ok. However, we changed email address and I cannot get it to change on my husbands phone! we have just upgraded to an iphone 5S and its still showing the old email account. I got a new phone but backed it up through my itunes, and when I tried to use icloud it kept telling me I have forgotten my password, when I really really didn't. So I went to settings > itunes&appstore and changed my password, but also changed the email address too while I was at it, since I've always wanted to change it. But now here's the problem. My iphone's icloud is currently logged in with my old apple ID email address, which seems to not work with the new password, so I can't log it or even delete the account off my iphone. My iCloud email has a heritage MobileMe preference in place whereby another account (hotmail) receives a copy of the mail sent to iCloud email (via MobileMe). How do I change the iCloud email account to delete this old preference?

If you have a rescue address, it receives all security-related Apple ID email instead of your primary address, including the email needed to reset your password or security questions.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
Select “Password and Security” on the left side of the page. You may be asked to answer one or more security questions before continuing. Forgot the answers?

If you mean you are trying to change the primary email account associated with your iCloud ID, you do that as explained here: Change your Apple ID. Before doing this, be sure to turn off Find My iDevice on all your iOS devices, and Find My Mac on your Mac. Then you can change the ID as desired. After changing it, you will have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, then sign back in with the changed ID, then turn Find My iDevice back on. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You cannot change your iCloud email address. It is an @me.com address, and is associated specifically with that iCloud account. If you want a different @me address assigned, you have to delete the current iCloud account and set up a new one.

You can't change the icloud email address without creating a new iCloud account. You can, however, create an alias address with the correct spelling. It will operate just as your current address does, receiving email in your curren iCloud inbox. Just don't ever delete the alias or you won't be able to reactivate it.
