How Do I change my identity in messages

Since the last upgrade of iOS I show up as my wife's contact information. Where is the setting to re assign my proper identity to my IM tag. I would rather not pose as someone I am not.

Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and change to your contact information in there by deselecting your wife's email address and selecting your own - or by tapping the blue arrow next to her email address and select Remove this email address in the next window.

I had this very same problem when trying to activate iMessage and Facetime on my iPad. When I signed into my account, I actually wasn't even presented with the option of a phone number - notwithstanding the fact that I was contacting others (and being reached by others) by my phone number on my iPhone. Having both the iPad and the iPhone on, I kept trying to turn off and on both iMessage and Facebook in Settings on both my iPad and iPhone, hoping that that they would eventually sync. But this proposed solution by others was unsuccessful for me.
Then, I found out what the problem was: When my iPhone was activated, it automatically registered my phone number for contact purposes. I was using iMessage on my iPhone for quite some time without actually being signed into my Apple ID account. When another device - such as an iPad or iPod - is being used for iMessage or Facebook, you are prompted to sign into your Apple account, using your username and password. These two devices will not register your phone number as an option for contact unless your iPhone is signed into your Apple account as well. In other words: your phone number will not be synced.
Go into your "Settings" on your iPhone and click on "Messages". Scroll down and click on "Send & Receive" (which should be followed by your phone number). On the next page, you will be able to determine whether or not your iPhone is using the Apple ID for messaging purposes. (Note: This information applies for Facetime as well.) If it is using your Apple ID for messaging, than at the top, you will see "Apple ID: <your particular e-mail account>" in Blue text. However, if you are not using your Apple ID for messaging, than you will see the words: "Use your Apple ID for message". Even though below this you will see your phone number checked as the contact source, you will want to click the tab that says, "Use your Apple ID for message". Sign into your account (just as you must sign in for iMessage on your other devices), and just choose your phone number as the "Send & Receive" contact. (The option of the e-mail will be there too, but you don't have to check it. And later on, you can delete it as an option.)
Now that all of your devices are signed in using your Apple ID, the other devices should register your phone number as a choice. It may take a little while, however. What I did was sign out of iMessage on my iPad, and then sign in again. If the option didn't appear, I just went back and signed in again, and kept doing this until the option for the phone number appeared.
Again, this will work for Facetime as well. The solution is to sync your iPhone account with the other devices by using your Apple ID for messaging (and Facetime) purposes.

Right click and select Open front panel >> Convert.
Change the vi as you need. then you can save it as a normal sub-vi.
If you have Labview 8.6, maybe (i am not sure) you can edit the express vi. Express vis are supported in 8.6

Message Menu > Preferences > Messages section.
In here you can change the Font (And Colour it), change the Balloon (or background to IM if using different style) and override incoming fonts and colours.

Go to Settings->Messages on your iPhone and turn them off, wait a minute and turn them on Again.
It should refresh the addresses, and the number should show in Messages on your iPad as an option.
I just did this on my iPhone and iPad and it worked fine.
You'll get a message on your iPhone that the iPhone number has been added to the iPad.
You can then go to the "Start New Conversations From" section on your iPad and tap the number to set it as the default.

I hope your friend deactivated Find my iPhone before giving the phone to you, because otherwise the phone will be useless to you as Activation Lock will prevent your activating it. I suspect the friend did not deactivate Find my iPhone, because doing so would have reset the name of the phone to "iphone". How do I change the way text messages look?

I've had my blackberry pearl 8130 for a week, and boy has it been a confusing week. I am wanting to change how my text messages look when I read them. Now when I open it has date/time then sender then the message. Its all seems bulky to me. I just want to read the message. Any ideas?

What keeps you from reading the message? Perhaps I don't understand what you are asking.
Do you not like the SMS message list view, or the way the SMS message is presented to you to read?
Open your SMS folder > Menu key > Options > General Options > and see the settings for Display Time, Display Name, Display Order, etc. and see if changing any of that will help you.

How can I change text of system messages?

I'm developing application running in Russian language, it's not supported yet in development environment, but it's OK, I can read English. Our future customers know only Russian, so they don't understand text like 'row(s) 1-10 of 213' ('Row X to Y of Z' pagination schema). Is there any way to change some (not all) system messages shown during application run to Russian? I can't find how to do it in documentation and forum.

The pagination strings are customizable in the report template definition. There are a number of built-in templates that are prefixed with "default", which you can not customize, but they are followed by the report templates defined in your application which are prefixed with "template:". One commonly used template for example would be alternating-color-rows. If you edit this template in the template section of the application builder and scroll all the way down to the region titled "Pagination Subtemplate", you will be able to customize the pagination strings to your needs. Please refer to the item level popup help for the exact syntax that you need to apply. You may not be able to fully customize all pagination styles, but you should be able to define an acceptable pagination style that only uses Russian terms.

How can I change the identity of a Mac?

I was recently given Mac that was previously used by my dad. He had originally named it with his name. I have been trying to change it so it has my name on it (i.e. "Jeff Wykoffs Mac") However, I haven't figured out how to do that completely. For example, when I find this computer with Bluetooth with my cell phone it shows up with the name my dad gave it. Is there a way to change that, and if so how do I do that?

Simple solution. Create a new admin user account. Log into the new account and delete the old one. More complex solution:

In Adobe Send, select Personalized Link after you select the file to send. Then, you can customize the Subject and Message as you'd like.

How to change the "n/a" message when stock level unavailable

When and if a product is not inventory controlled or the in stock quantity is unknown, the "In Stock" tag on the product page will read "n/a".
How do I change the "n/a" message? Customer think that stock is unavailable but I want to replace the "n/a" message with "Available".

This isn't what I was asking.
"N/A" is shown when a product has no inventory listed which is different than being "out of stock". This is when a product has not been inventory controlled. In other words, the product's inventory has not been controlled by the system.

What do you want to do? If you turn on Do Not Disturb, this is the result - your phone is busy. Turn off Do Not Disturb or allow those callers you want to get through in Settings > Do Not Disturb > Allow Calls From.
